Kyles eyes were the size of dinner plates. He was putting all his weight against Holly.
Jeff growled again.

Yakov held Jeff tighter. "Holly, take him out."
She nodded and pulled Kyle out of the room.
"Jeff, you're scaring the children."

Jeffs whole body was vibrating with pent up anger and energy. It took all his concentration not to chase after his prey, No damnit! It's Kyle! He forced himself to think.

Kyle leaned against the couch in the living room. "Why do I always send Jeff over the edge?" He asked still a tad shaken up by the whole thing.

Yakov rolled his eyes and smack Jeff rather hard.

Jeff blinked and looked up at Yakov. It only took him a second to realize what he'd almost done. He slammed his fist onto the table. "Damnit!" He bolted up then strode over to the back door. He needed to go release some pent up energy running. He may not have been able to do it as a wolf but running human also took its toll on his energy. He slammed the door behind him.

Kyle jumped slightly as he heard the door slam. "He seemed fine last year. I don't know what's gotten into him."

Yakov had tried to follow and also jumped at the sound of the door. "It's this whole thing Kyle. He wants to save everyone and... I'm gonna go check on him." He shut the door as quietly as could when he left.

Jeff was jumping fences as he made it down the way and finally dashed off into the woods. A million thoughts were flying through her head. He didn't know exactly where the were pack was, but he'd find them and he's bring back Kyle's mother.

Jeff was long gone by the time Yakov got outside. "Damnit." He did know Jeff's scent really well though and he began to follow him.

Jeff was criss crossing the woods trying to pick up a scent of an unfamiliar wolf. He was sure that the only wolves around here were probablly part of the other pack. He finally picked up a weak scent. He started off at full speed.

Jeff seemed to be going all over the place and Yakov was having trouble keeping track of him. He was starting to get rather angry.

Jeff followed the trail through the woods and out into a tiny neighborhood where he lost it. He took a second to compose himself as he walked around trying not to draw attention to himself as he picked up the scent again, a little fresher than the trail before but still the same wolf. It led him down the street and into another patch of woods.

"What the hell is happening up here?" Katra asked as she opened the door from the basement.
Kyle jumped slightly again. He had forgotten they were down there.

Yakov finally got a good trail and fought the urge to run as he was in public.

Holly lifted her arm off her head. "Jeff's out trying to save the world and Yakov's out trying to save Jeff." She put her arm back.

Jeff finally found himself deep into a part of the woods that hadn't seen humans in a long time. He had to slow down so not to trip but he felt safer being away from people.

Kyle put an arm around Holly as Kat shook her head. "Boys..." She mumbled. A soft cry came from the basement and Holly sighed as she headed back down to deal with the girls.

Yakov eventually left the urban environment behind and was tearing through the forest. Jeff's scent was getting stronger.
