The king heard the liger address him and he did not turn at once. He let his gaze linger on Leanna for a moment longer before he looked ot adelle and nodded. "Very well." He nuzzled his queen before turning ot look at Blaze. "What is it little Blaze??" His chocolate eyes starred down at the black and grey striped cub.

Akira gazed out at the water for a moment also before laying down next to Nola. He Nuzzled her affectionately extremely happy. "we should head back soon, we don't want ling or anyone worrying about us" he said softly

Leanna looked at him with passive eyes. No emotion was in them, but her brain worked furiously. As long as he did not harm her or her unborn cubs in any way, she did not care of the consequences. Her tail twitched slightly as her left ear flicked. She looked over at Blaze for a moment and couldn't help but give a gentle smile. Her baby was growing up..soon Blaze would be a teen...Leanna felt really old now. She suppressed a sigh as her smile faded away. She was now at the mercy of King Ling...

"I have come to you to earn my place as this Pride's Shaman." The liger said smoothly. It wasn't a boast or arrogance, just a simple fact. In her heart she knew she was one, but to the rest she was yet to be.

Ling felt Leanna's eyes on him, but he decided itwas best for now to focus on the liger's request. She had asked to become Shaman. This was not something one just asked to be, they either were or they weren't. Ling sighed and lowered his head for a moment in thought. He lifted his head soon after looking at Blaze. "I will allow it, only once I am convinced that you are the shaman that you say you are. I want you to take on a quest...a vision quest. I want you to find yourself, and commune with nature, only after this quest will I give you an answer." He moved closer to the little liger, his paw reaching out and lightly patting her on the head. "This is something you will have to do on your own...no help...understand?"

Nola sighed but nodded. "You're right. We should head back now..." She looked playfully at him and then tapped his paw closet to her before bolting. "Tag! Your it!" She cried out to him over her shoulder.
Adelle merely sat at attention while Ling talked to the young lioness and glared at Leanna. She wondered what would come of this turn of events. Her gaze drifted to the cave opening almost subconciously looking for her daughter.

Pandora looked up to the stars with a passive sigh. Voices echoed around her in the distance. A male and a female playing... And the sounds of the cave far away in the distance. Two still adults, one male, one female.
She huffed to herself. Foolish ones... Depending on others for their own safety and comfort...
She gave a chuckle. The only time she had ever 'sought comfort' from the king of a pride she had visited, she was only doing it to work in her advantage.
Idley, she wondered how the cubs were doing from that small incident.
With a shake of her head, her flakes stirring up a small bought of wind around her, she discharged the thoughts from her mind. She had left them in capable paws, no doubt about it.
With a yawn, she closed her eyes, listening to the sounds of the lions far off from where she lay, condemned from the main cave.

Perhaps he should have been tired, but the midnight-purple lion felt nervous energy he could not bring himself to stay put while Pastel lay asleep. Perhaps if she were safe back at the cave, but with this newcomer to Ling's land and the king's new litter of cubs, he felt the need to prowl. Deciding not to wander too far, Nuri patrolled the area nearest and quickly came to realize that whomever it was had not come back to the cave with Ling. Only his scent lead back to the cave. Where was the other? The pond? Had they continued on their way through? Mind still abuzz, he continued his wanderings with no destination in mind.

Akira jumped up and chased after her playfully, enjoying the soft breeze through his fur as he ran after Nola trying to tag her back all the while heading back towards the cave

Pastel whimpered in her sleep as the warmth of Nuri's body left her. Her tail wrapped around her form, her feathers under her nose, her breathing raggid as she dreamed. Was it a dream or a nightmare? Who knew, only Pastel. Her paws clawed at the ground and she cried her body tense with her dream and shaking with cold.

Nuri made his way back to where Pastel lay. She had not moved from where she had been, but he could see the torn-up ground by her feet and the way her body shivered. The soft noises she made in her sleep were broken up slightly by the wind, but to Nuri they sounded distressed. He sighed softly to himself, feeling guilty for having left her earlier. Hopefully she will not catch a chill... he thought, ears flattened with worry. He lay down next to her, positioning himself to block the wind and cover as much of the line of her body as he could.

The female shivered and near instantly cuddled up close to the warmth of the male beside her. She soaked in that warmth, needed it. She still whimpered, her dreams haunting her still, but her sounds were softer, more comforted with him near her. Perhaps upon waking she would share these dreams, a sort of verbal healing, but only time would tell.

Frowning slightly, Nuri curled his tail around her and licked her face. Maybe she would feel a friendly outside presence and be comforted in her dreams. Leaning his head over her shoulder, he lay his chin there lightly and began to purr.
