Chib shields his eyes with his hand as he exits the Brotherhood complex, the unimpeded sun causing the sandy horizon to shimmer slightly. Noting that he was the first of his squad to arrive at the meeting place, he sits down in the sand and bows his head, his poncho acting as a sun umbrella as he waits, relatively motionless.

Chib continues to sit motionless, not wanting to waste any more energy or moisture to the scorching sun then necessary. "Not really."

((In character this isn't our first mission, by the way. The squad has existed for a while now, so although this may be the first mission Xenos has specifically assigned to us, I would doubt that IC the Brotherhood would allow for such a period of inactivity.))

((As honored as I am, I don't think I could really do the rp justice with my current obligations. Things are just too busy right now for me to be playing two roles in an rp... for this coming week, it will be challenging enough for me to even meet the posting requirement, I imagine. School is starting, so that means that I'll be spending a lot of my time managing my courseload, all of which are AP clases with the exception of honors physics and track and field. In addition to this, I have a gig in about a week, and I've only had one actual practice session with the band. There are many many things to add to this, but that just gives an idea. This week is very hectic for me, so I simply cannot accept the responsibility.))

Chib turns, his eyes quickly tracing the path of footprints in the sand until he's looking directly through Fina. "You shouldn't use those things, they say that prolonged use can bring about psychological damage." Chib shifts his gaze back down to the footprints. "In addition, you should do more to mask your trail. Without moisture, soil turns to dust, leaving far more recognizeable footprints. These especially stick out when they appear to come from nowhere, as when your using a stealth boy." Chib returns to his normal posture, facing forward. "I assume you are our espionage operative?"

Chib closes his eyes, thoughtfully constructing one of his well read, often witty responses. "Yes."

[[Understood. I'll keep that in mind. Usually it's just used for her sneaky stuff, and her own personal surprises. Fina had, after all, joined the brotherhood to get away with doing what she does, and to have better access to equipment for it. ^_^;]]

Fina let her grin fade and looked to the others. "Kay, Guess we should be gettin' on with the mission, then. We should check around near where our super mutants have threatened around, or where they've been seen most recently...." The thought also crossed her mind that they could wait at a town that hasn't been threatened yet nearest to where their last sighting was... But then that would endanger townspeople under their protection, and she'd rather the people remain loyal to the group she is with, rather than be angry at them for taking a fight where it could've been avoided.

She looked at the others. "We'll need transportation. Let's take a trip to tha motor pool." With that she headed off toward the base. She guessed she was expecting someone to show up with a vehicle... Silly her.

Fina drove the Humvee through the wastes, ready to stop and head out at the first sign of Super Mutant not on their side.

[Assuming Chib hopped into the vehicle with her in the motor pool*]
"Chib, I knew it wasn't necessary to come up with a plan back there, but I just wanted everyone ta be on the same page about the basic idea of how we're going to go about things. Just being cautious never killed anyone, infact it's ensured peoples survival, and is the reason we're around today. I know plans might change on depending on conditions and whatnot, but that is a fairly safe CoA, and I'd rather not have people die on me."

Fina checked her Stealth Boy. She did have to admit, with what Chib said, that she did use it too much since joining the brotherhood. I'll have to practice a bit without it, or I'll rust... She thought to herself. Having returned her gaze to the road from glancing down at her precious invisibility machine, she took one hand off the wheel, pulling her Pip-Boy up and activating the map of the region. "Alrighty then. Given that we don't know if these mutant brothers have a vehicle or not, we'll just have to predict a few spots based on sightings and which town they've most recently threatened. Some of these predictions will have to be of them on foot, and the others will have to be in whatever vehicle can hold them..."
