Hurm... if I had the motivation I would check it out. All I read is a little of the Nuremberg Diary, every night before going to sleep. Fun fun stuff.

The Prince is a favorite to me. I'll have to check out that Nuremberg Diary though.

I gotta go for a few. I'll be back soon.

Mmmmm, I really need to pick up The Prince, eventually. Not for any greedy reason, but just reading through an intellect's array of opinions is pretty intriguing.

Ode to all the great thinkers of the world.

The Prince is perhaps the best thing to read if you plan on using...lets say "subtle" tactics in something.

In something? In what?

The powers of Manipulation can be used everywhere. Where ever you can bend something your way, it teaches you when and where to treat people so they will think they love you when they actually hate you.

And I quote:
Quote:
"I conclude that since men love as they themselves determine but fear as their ruler determines, a wise prince must rely upon what he and not others can control."

He also basically shows you the good and bad things to do while in power. You must make your subjects think that you care only for them, but you must also not give them so much of your mind that they try to make decisions for you.
