Ray turned around, noticing Jess's unusually pale, sallow complexion. "Hey, Jess. Are you alright?" he asked, keeping his distance but looking concerned all the same.
Madame Pomfrey's nostrils flared slightly as she surveyed Desiree. "He's not to have any visitors."

Jess only waved him off, moving shakily down the stairs.
"But...I thought we were allowed to come see him this morning." Desiree glanced over Madam Pomfrey's shoulder and at Peter's prostrate form.

Actually, it was the next morning, but Madame Pomfrey merely pursed her lips. "Ten minutes. The boy needs rest."
Ray appeared alongside. "I hope you don't mind if I stick along. After all, if we visit seperately, it's ten more minutes that Peter has to stay awake."
Madame Pomfrey merely nodded slightly, having developed a slightly liking to the boy, and walked out of the room.

Desiree entered the room quickly before Madame Pomfrey could change her mind, and took a seat ina wooden chair next to Peter's bed.

Ray took a seat next to Desiree. "We ought to wake up him up, I suppose." He looked carefully at Peter, who was lying curled up and dozing lightly.

"I don't know." She whispered, looking at his bandaged up hand. "That can't be too good."
The doors opened up again and Jess walked in, well rather she was dragged in by two sixth year Slytherin boys. She looked very pale and had her hand clasped over her mouth as though she was going to be ill at any moment.

"Definitely not..." agreed Ray, when Jess was 'escorted' in. He stood up. Jess had gone a rather nasty shade of light green, and it did not particularly suit her. "Should I go and fetch Madame Pomfrey?" he asked one of the boys, beginning to stand up.

One of the boys nodded. "I am not getting thrown up on again." He looked at Jess, half grossed out and half scared.

((Hey!! xd Wow...first post here... biggrin So...I'll just join you folks in the hospital wing... sweatdrop ))
Elle limped toward the hospital wing, dragging her bag along with her. A few Slytherins thought it would be fun to gang up on her and managed to twist her ankle. Though she managed to give them a piece of her mind, leaving them with a few broken noses and arms...
Opening the doors, she noticed quite a few people in there. Tossing her dark brown and blue hair over her shoulder, she walked in. Raising an eyebrow, she set down her bookbag and sat in one of the chairs a few feet away from the others; patiently waiting for help.

Ray smiled at the new arrival faintly. She was a familiar face, yes, but he'd never actually spoken to her. "Right. Well. I'll be back now." And he disappeared into Madame Pomfrey's office.
Peter stirred. His hand was throbbing, and the sheer pain of it sent him jolting awake. He gritted his teeth together as he opened his eyes, and when he'd gotten slightly used to the pain he unclenched his jaws. "Is it my birthday?" he asked feebly, wondering why so many people were gathered around him.

"Ummm...not exactly." Desiree glance over to the bed next to him, where the two boys were now helping JEssica lay down. She looked very pale indeed.

Seeing someone smiling at her, Elle blinked and smiled back, offering a small nod in greeting. She was going to ask if he could get Mdame Pomfrey, but he already went in the office.
Elle shrugged, reaching for another chair to prop her foot up. Setting her leg on it, she sighed and leaned back. The pain wasn't too unbearable, mearly a dull throbbing...okay, well, more than a dull throbbing...but she experienced worse...she looked over to the boy lying in the bed, and the other girl lying in the other bed....who looked...green?
'Geeze...wonder what happened...' she thought. Taking out a small chocolate bar, she ate while she waited, not caring that it was probably not good to eat in the hospital wing...
'Oh well, it's not like anyone's gonna notice me anytime soon...'

Peter hoisted himself up just a bit and saw Jess. "She wasn't feeling well last night," he mumbled, half to himself.
Right on cue, Madame Pomfrey came in, and was positively aghast at how many filthy, germy patients had barged into her perfectly sanitary room. She jabbed two fingers at the Slytherin boys. "You two. Go." She noticed the other girl now, and saw that something was wrong with her leg. "I'll be with you in a moment." She whirled back at Ray. "I suggest that you and your friend come back later."
"We won't be any trouble," promised Ray, on the verge of arguing.
Madame Pomfrey glared. "Go."

Desiree gulped and stood up quickly, patting Peter on the shoulder before taking off with Ray.
Jess was clutching her stomach. She felt as if she was going to be ill again and she was on the verge of passing out.
