Meribelle had retreated from her stargazing, in time enough to hear the conversation between Leanna and Ling. MEribelle sat outside the cave; She didn't know what to think. The once young cub was growing, and in her teen-hood she helled much curiosity, but the scent of slight irritation in the air cause her to hold her tounge. She would hold her questions till later, now was not the time.

Ling had stared to doze off, his head resting on his paws, when he caught a strange but familiar scent in the air. The scent, he had smelled it on Leanna. Her king had come unannounced. The king let out a tired yawn, and rose fro mthe ground. He looked over his shoulder at his family and pride. "We have an intruder, everyone is to stay in the cave untill I give the all clear." He left then, running off towards the scent that carried on the wind. He could allready see Mika'il's resting form in the distance. How dare he come here without so much as a word, how dare he?!

Adelle sat and watched the evnts unfold in the cave. She shook her head wondering what would take place next.
Outside Nola arrived back at the cave but stopped short seeing Meribelle sitting outside. She tilted her head and then quirted her ears so that she ight be able to detect the reason why the cave seemed so...tense.

The young King lay well outside the border, curled into a tight little ball. He slept deep, the carcass of a small warthog laying not too far away. So deep in sleep was he that he didn't notice the black-and-white male coming to him.

Ling moved closer to the male, coming to a stop only feet away from the rose colored male. He looked down at him, his eyes peering around. He was not far from his borderline, but just far enough where he could not call him on intrusion. He sniffed the air, the scent was unmistakable. This was the male that had taken the body and heart of one of his own lionesses. He sat back on his haunches and waited for this king to wake. He had to admit, He did not look like much.

Akira stopped just beside Nola straining his ears to try and hear what was going on inside the cave "I wonder whats going on...it seems awful tense in there..I can almost feel it in my fur" he said a slight tingle running down his spine. He opened his mouth to scent the air and smelt something else. "Nola..theres another Lion out there! I'm not sure who is is though..his scent is not familiar, can you smell him too?"

Pandora immediately noticed the scent of the unfamiliar King slightly near by. She raised her head, searching the borders for any sign of him. With a frown, she decided that he was out of the range of her sight, even if it was dark. she paused a moment. She was catching the scent on the wind. With a slight ponder, she debated leaving the rock to investigate. Not knowing that Ling had joined him, Pandora rose form the flat surface, slinking from it ot the soft grass below, and surruptitiously moved through the grasses near the location of the king's scent. She stayed inside the borders, but was close enough to see Ling wating for the king to wake. I should be with-in earshot... Pandora lay herself down, restig her head on her paws to stay hidden more easily. Her dark form blended seamlessly into the grass during the night hours.

Nola nodded and then lifted her head looking after Ling. "This won't be good." She then looked at the cave wondering what she should do.

akira sighed "we should probibly go in then and see whats going on.." he said padding into the cave quietly and looking around his eyes growing accustomed to the light to see around him.

Leanna had curled herself up near to a corner away from the others. She needed time alone and to think. She also wanted to be far away from them as possible not wanting to feel their gazes upon her. She wondered if they hated her from bringing another problem into the pride. Either way, it certainely did not bode well. Ling had no intentions of letting her go, obviously, and with the cubs on the way...things would get hectic. When Ling left, she had a feeling that the "intruder" was her mate, Mika'il. Oh gods, let him be safe...She did not want a fight to happen since it had not been a while before the last one. How could this problem be solved peacefully?

Mika slept on through the night and into the morning. When the King awoke, he took stock of his surroundings. The black and white male was immediately noted, but he continued on. The Desert King stretched, working the kinks out of his body and shook his head.
Pausing for a moment, the large male turned to the other. "Greetings." The younger stood tall and proud, sure of himself. What he lacked in his sleep he made up for awake. He was young, virile and strong. Rose eyes spoke of a wisdom and intelligence. Though young he was learned.

It had been many many hours since the king had sat and waited for his visitor, and perhaps even more attempts had been made at waking the individual before the sleeping male finnally awoke. Ling glared at the rose and crimson form of Mika'il, his over all expression showing just how long he had been waiting and what that wait had done to his demeanor. He shifted his weight on his haunches and nodded his head in a half-hazard way to the other male. "I take it that you rest was satifactory...?" There was only the slightest growl to his voice.

"You needn't have waited." Slightly shaken by the fact that the other had watched him the entire time, he covered it with cool indifference. He had been more tired then he had thought if he had slept through Ling's presence. "I am far enough from your Lands that I am not a threat."
He shook himself again. "Pardon me, the trip across the desert has parched me..." Mika'il padded to the pond and drank. He meant no insult or threat against the other. Not even the mind could force a body to work if exhausted or weary.

Ling's eyes followed the other male as he went to drink. Ling himself had stayed awake the entire night, his mind weary from his lack of sleep among other things. He turned his body to face the younger male, his eyes narrowed with an anger that he could not explain. "I had no intention of waiting as long as I did, however, it seems that you have no clear sense of danger when I could have tore your throat from you without you even wimpering in your sleep." He took afew steps towards the other. "Tell what you business is here...I know your scent...and you are not on my list of people you share idle chat with..."

Mika raised himself from the water before dipping his fore paws into the cool water. "You know why I am here." He would not hide in diplomacy now, or smooth his words. "I have come for Leanna."
Examining his paw pads he found them to be red and cracked. Quelling a sigh, he turned to face the other. "However...I know not your name. I am Mika'il, son of Illitashia the Roaming Queen and the current King of the Desert Kingdom."
