Elle smiled and nodded her thanks to Madame Promfrey, glad to get some help soon, and had deftly hid the chocolate bar behind her back. When Madame Promfrey turned around, she quickly ate the rest of it and swiftly threw the wrapping away to destroy the "evidence". Coughing a few times, she sat up straighter, pretending like nothing happened.

OOC: We're all in the hospital wing, basically. Peter was cursed by a Death Eater, Jess is suffering from being human (and maybe having a fever, I dunno), Elle hurt her leg...etc.
Madame Pomfrey, after rushing to a cabinet and squinting at a labels on a few bottles, drew one out and proceeded to force feed it to Jess, glancing back at the other girl. "I won't be long."

Jess shut her mouth tight, shaking her head fervently. "I'll throw it up, I know I will." Like a child, she clapped her hand over her mouth and tried her best to resist Madam Pomfrey's force.

OOC: Jackson needs to do something drastic, because Leigh's still fawning over Matt. And reflected_heart, what exactly do you have in mind for Elle?
Madame Pomfrey nostrils flared ever wider, and she jabbed a finger at Jess. Automatically, her hands flew to the sides of her bed, held with invisible chains, and her mouth was magically pried open. "It's much easier if you don't resist, dear," she said, even though her tone was anything but gentle.

Jess death glared at Madam Pomfrey as the medicine was forced down her throat. The second it hit, however, she felt even more ill and tried to close her mouth to say that she needed to throw up again.

((Uhhmmm....just for you to help hey with her leg...? And hopefully when she's able to walk again, she can meet the other people? sweatdrop ))
Elle nodded, "Sure, take your time..." she said to Madame Promfrey, gingerly rubbing her leg to loosen the muscles...it was starting to throb more painfully now...

Madame Pomfrey now turned her attention to Elle. Jess would be fixed up in a few minutes. "And what happened to you?" Certainly, Madame Pomfrey was cross, ill mannered, and sometimes very rude. But she was an astonishingly talented Healer.
Peter had been watching this whole scene, teeth gritted firmly and fist clenched so tightly that deep imprints of his fingernails would remain when he had loosened his hand. "Jess? Are you alright?" he asked, raising his eyebrows at Jess's reaction to the medicine.

In response to Peter's question, Jess bolted up from the bed and ran to the lavatory, returning a few minutes later looking miserable. She layed back down in her bed, extremely unhappy and perplexed that the medicine had not done its job. "Thank Merlin I know breath freshening charms..."

((uhmmm...just to tell you folks, I changed my username...as if you all can't see.... sweatdrop ))
Elle was stuck...'Should I tell the truth, or make something up?' she thought, fiddling with her sleeves. She really didn't want to get in trouble for beating up the Slytherins too...Deciding to just tell what really happened, she sighed,
"Well, you see, I was walking from potions class when this group of Slytherins decided that it'd be fun to pick on another Gryffindor, so they ganged up on me and were harrasing me, but luckily, I know...uhmm...how to get out of these situations, so I got away with a twisted/broken ankle or leg...can't really tell 'cause the pain is spreading, but...yeah..." she finished, smiling sheepishly, praying that Madame Ponfrey wouldn't pry deeper.

Madam Pomfrey listened to the girls story, a frown on her face the entire time. "Tsk, tsk, you know I better not see a group of Slytherins limping in here now." She knelt down and took a look at Elle's ankle, touching it lightly. "Tell me where it hurts to press."

If they do, I'll kill them... she thought, still keeping up her smile.
Watching as Madmae Promfrey knelt next to her, she took a deep breath when she touched it, "Right there..." she said, gritting her teeth from the pain. She was surprised that she lasted this long and managed to limp to the hospital wing from the dungeons and waiting for someone to actually notice her...
training paid off I guess...heh....

"Ahhh, alright, it seems you gone and wrenched your ankle. I'll be right back." She stood up and bustled over to the potions cabinet to grab a mending tonic. As she passed by, she raised an eyebrow at the fact that Jess still looked on the verge of throwing up again, but passed it off as her trying to get attention.
