Mikian snow_fire i could use some help on something i'm writing for school....I just need a lifestyle of now that i can compare and contrast to that of a ferryman, merchant, or Samanans.. I can't think of any that would work so maybe you guys might know..anywho reply back asap if anyone has any ideas Also in case anyone may of read the book, it's called Siddhartha by Herman Hesse Maybe you could compare lifestyle to a merchants to now, we have so much more technology and different ways to earn money. If I am correct merchants mainly bartered for their items. hmm yes, but i'm also looking for belifes in this too...i should of mentioned that so i'm looking for a different life style then the one i compare it too, so that way they have things in common and things that are different

JulietBunny Kristina_is_Ineffable wow... so i definitely got distracted.... a lot...... lo siento mi amor. <333 *kisses her juliet* *kisses back*...want to pick up where we left off? heart @Mikian: i understand now. but just because he's a man-whore your boyfriend shouldn't assume that he's whoring you. but you seem happy, so i'm glad. heart Yeah... Now I feel bad, kind of, because I was friendly Sado, after the break up.
That's very true, but Collin has always been there for me, and he also heard lots of rumors on campus, we've been together for a year. I'm hoping that we can stay together for awhile though.

there's so many way cooler things to discuss about that book, too.
i completely agree. i would write a paper on how the assignment is pointless and you should spend your time analyzing buddhism and how it connects to life in general, and how that book can be a teaching tool for all of us through daily life.

lol i know but here are the question i have to do 1 page on each
1. Choose one of Siddhartha's lifestyles adn compare and contrast them with a current life style.
2. Within your own mind, explore you own idea of Om. What route you travel or must travel to find it?
3. Write your own Doctrine for achieving your own nirvana. How does it compare with Siddhartha's?
