Yakov looked up at Jeff. He blinked and swallowed a few times before he could manage a horse whisper. "Jeff..." He tugged slightly on Jeff's arm.

Jeff bent down and kissed Yakov softly on the forehead where there were no cuts. "Yes dear?"

Jeff frowned. "Whats wrong? Are you hurting?"

Yakov slid over slightly, wincing as he did so. He gave Jeff a good solid yank pulling him on to the bed next to him.

Jeff lay next to Yakov and smiled, "You do realize I havn't finished bandaging you up, right dear?"

Yakov's only response was to bury his head in Jeff's chest. A few moments later, he started crying.

Jeff held Yakov as gently as he could, trying not to hurt him. He didn't know what to do so he just held him close.

Yakov cried for quite some time. Eventually the sobs stopped and he just lay on Jeff, unmoving.

Jeff kissed the top of Yakov head. Then checked to make sure he was still breathing. "You are not allowed to die on me." He whispered softly.

"Oh good, for a second there I actually thought you were going to let me." Yakov's voice was still a little broken from crying and he was not enjoying how difficult that seemed to make conveying sarcasm.

JEff smiled weakly and squeezed Yakov gently. "Right, I'll have to remember to try harder next itme."

Yakov sighed, and it hurt. Crying had hurt to, but he'd be a little to busy crying to notice. "Damn it."

"Yakov, do you need pain killers? We have some of the stronger stuff, I think taking 8 or 9 might actually help?" Jeff looked concerned and worried.

Yakov shook his head. "No, my ribs just aren't very happy about a two story fall. They'll heal. Are you okay?"
