Jess, meanwhile, was still in agony. She was all sore and felt just plain gross. "How can I be sick? I've barely eaten!" Jess had been denying food because she had been bloated lately and would only drink water and eat salad during the day. "If those house elves poisoned my lettuce, I'll kill them!"

"Yeah! He needs some company." Jackson said turning tward the Hospitbal, "Hey Leigh I know that this is bad timing but the next Hogsmead tpir is in a couple weeks I was wonering if you might want to go get a drink or something?"

rhichi "Ahhh, alright, it seems you gone and wrenched your ankle. I'll be right back." She stood up and bustled over to the potions cabinet to grab a mending tonic. As she passed by, she raised an eyebrow at the fact that Jess still looked on the verge of throwing up again, but passed it off as her trying to get attention.
Hah....killing house elves, huh? I doubt they're even smart enough to know how to poison people...
"Yo, person, what's your name?" she asked casually, hoping to strike up a conversation with the other girl.

Jess sneered and made a rude gesture at the girl. "Bite me, you bleeding wench." She gripped her stomach again and moaned. "Madam Pomfrey, fix it!"

Elle raised an eyebrow curiously...Ho...not friendly, are we?
She scoffed, chuckling, "'Bleeding wench?' Hah. In case you can't see, I'm not bleeding, I twisted my ankle...there's a difference..." she said, letting a touch of sarcasm slip into her words, "at least I'm not the one doubling over in pain...you'll make the job for Madame Promfrey a heck of a lot easier if you don't act like a "wench". Considerate, much? Your health is in her hands, ya know..." she added, smirking.
Heh...what a nice conversation this is turning out to be...and here I thought I could make a friend... she rolled her eyes.

Jess simply shrugged at the girl's obvious stupidity, showing that she really didn't give a hell what she thought about her. "Madame Pomfrey...I'm dying here..."
((i hope you know that in england "bleeding" is an expression used to mean damn or something similar and less appropriate to say here, like "bloody hell!", its not meant to be taken literally so unless your character is from america, she should know that))

Elle rolled her eyes again and settled for looking out the window...she didn't want to get into another argument in the same day...

Madame Pomfrey was back with a half dozen bottles, set them all down, and took a pale blue, particularly dismal looking potion, and tipped it down Elle's throat without warning. Immediately, there was a loud crunch and Elle's ankle righted itself, looking painful. There were several more splintering noises, and Madame Pomfrey pursed her lips as the ankle mended itself. "It should be finished in a few minutes," she told Elle, not bothering to glance at any expression on her face.
"And would you care to tell me about your....stomachache?" she asked Jess, lips parting with a sneer.
"No, I mean, our going to get drinks together. With Ray and Desiree, probably," she added, "Unless they want to go often somewhere else.

"Gladly." Jess had a contemptuous look on her face. "It just started a little while ago, when I woke up this morning. I figured it would just go away and it was probably from stress, since that's been causing my...ummm..." She lowered her voice so Peter couldn't hear "My, you know, cycle, to be rather irregular. But I figured it was nothing so I just let it be and then all of the sudden I just started getting sick all over." She leaned back and frowned. "I think I'm dying." Ahh, always the drama queen.

Madame Pomfrey's eyes became distant, and she suddenly recalled another student from 2 years ago. "Step into the bathroom, if you would," she said to Jess, more kindly than she'd ever spoken to her before. She went to her cabinet and brought a pregnancy test to the bathroom, away from the prying eyes of Peter, who was awake and anxiously looking at the both of them.

"What? Why?" Jess gave Madam Pomfrey a strange look as she stepped into the bathroom and leaned against the wall. Luckily, it was on the cleaner side as far as lavatories went, so she was fine.
