The shock wave was unexpected and Mitsu soon found herself flying landing on the ground at an odd angle. She tried to clamber back to her feet but found it difficult, her legs starting to give out from under her. Where was Shun? It sounded like Shun had been behind her? Forcing herself to move Mitsu began to search, her eyes finally finding the reaper along side Xiu and Vaith. It took effort but Mitsu made her way over as they tried to lift Shun to his feet. They needed to get back. Jumping headlong into this had not been one of her better choices. Bad judgement for sure. Her nose came up to nudge under Shun's other arm hoping to help him along. She had a little strength left but not much. HP: 3

Of course Caelius wasn't just some defenseless man in the middle of a battlefield. Candace knew this. He was their leader for a reason. But it didn't make it any less surprising or impressive how he blinded the boy with the guns or how he just grabbed that mouse-looking girl and stabbed her right in the shoulder with absolutely no hesitation. That was how Candace wanted to be. She looked upon the man with nothing less but pure awe until there came a sudden voice. 'I am here, Master' The voice rang so fleetingly it made Candace pause a moment in her defense around Caelius to look around. What was tha-- "s**t!" One of those brats got by her! She whirled around to strike at him only to watch as...well...looked like everything was fine! It took one simple command for Candace to run back to Caelius, only stopping when she felt and heard a definite crunch beneath one of her boots. She lifted her foot and looked down, her face paling just slightly at what she saw: She'd just stepped on and destroyed a very familiar pair of glasses. ********. She knew whose they were..and she knew how terrible his eyesight was without them. Candace bit down on the end of her thumb as she looked Jerry's way, watching him gather around with Harrison, Jordan and Ennea. Fuuuuuuuuuck. He wasn't wearing his glasses. ******** s**t ******** arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! Snatching them up off the ground, or what she could pick up anyway, Candace hurried to the group. She felt so bad. "Hey..." Candace spoke to the group, unable to look at Jerry and just...keeping her hood up. It should have been obvious why with the way she held what was left of the glasses. Their twisted and bent and broken frames, what was left of the glass from the lenses, and the glass that was stuck into her gloves from picking up the damn things. She looked to Jordann first. Jordan knew Jerry well, right? She lowered her hood and swallowed hard, rubbing her lips together for a moment in a nervous habit. "Do..you think he'll be mad?" She asked him quietly, frowning toward Jerry. He was worried about her? "I'm right here, Jerr-bear. I um...I...I found your glasses." Candace was mumbling. Clearly her finding his glasses did not spell good news as it should have. "How're you doing?" The question was directed at everyone around Caelius, even Caelius himself..though the man was clearly doing better now that he had his scythe back. "Orders, sir?" ALL THE HUNTERS, OKAY? GOD.HP: 37

The light had caught him off guard. One part protective instinct and one part concentration loss caused the demon to shift into his raven form. All the easier to quickly escape if he needed to once the light was gone. Just as well, since he'd been mostly naked anyway.
When the light was gone, Draven saw students, other beings and....a thing. A very large thing. Students everywhere were injured. The other beings had glowing weapons. He'd seen things like that before-they were trouble. But that very large thing looked like it was even more dangerous. What had he been dropped into?
Chaos. That's what this was. Draven took a few moments to attempt and figure out the best plan of action. Honestly, he had no clue about what was happening. He almost didn't want to know. Things looked bad.

Bix heard the call, "Hunter's fall back to me." and immediately his head darted around looking for the proper direction. He was still having a bad time seeing, blobs darting in and out of his vision. "Gale?" He didn't know that his friend had made a dramatic run at the beast and scored a decent hit. Bix's head swung around as he tried his best to figure out where he was going based on the colors, blurry images and sounds that he could piece together. Not too far.Can't you direct me?It'ss more fun watching you walk like a zomboil. Mina giggled. Lucky for the albino hunter he hadn't been far and the mass of white coats, most on defense, would find him blindly wandering into the crowd. He bumped into Candace but could only squint and flounder for an apology as he had no idea who he'd just bashed into. "Ah.. sorry.. my eyes.. Someone did something.." He kept making strange faces and squinting one eye or the other in an attempt to see what was going on clearly. [[ Bix is affected by Eris' attack for one more round ]]

ENTERING FROM GAUNTLET!
Too much was going on...
Too much shifting, change, fighting...Natalia erupted from one place to the other, fur heavy from the water in the last territory as she shuddered and snarled in place. Her thoughts were a mixture of terror and frustration, a part of her pleading to end all of this, to escape the horror that would slowly render every one of them dead. The other part, the stronger and much more proud part of Natalia cursed and drew both of her large taloned palms to press against her eyes. The tail that coiled at her back wrapped protectively around her worn frame; wounds oozing, head reeling, fatigue settling in...
She still had yet to find Whisper, and Mort had suddenly become only a blur every now and then. Sightings of Mei and LW were also just as scarce now as more individuals piled onto the field. It was a massive orgy of blood, guts, and movement. Although things seemed relatively calm now, the monster was sure the giant, black creature near the center of the field would do them no good in no time.
And...and the stench. The human stench! It was back with a vengeance.
Ooooh how her head did spin, eyes still kept sealed away from all of the horrid sights she did not wish to see! It was easier for her at the start of all this, to run rampant around as if nothing bothered her. She was a monster, and in her true form she was a well protected creature...but too much damage had been done now. Natalia was hurt, and it would only get worse from here no out.
She rocked to and fro, murmuring things from her beastly muzzle in hushed tones. Every now and then she would shake, tossing the tuft of hair on her head left and right...perhaps it would rid her of the visions. The onslaught that was destined to come?
Natalia Came a most familiar call, her name registering slowly...but eventually prompting her to lift both eyes suspiciously.
When she saw that it was Mort belting her name over and over again, calling for his team...their Luminous Flux...the monster released several high pitched squeaks before rising onto her back legs. At her full height she was nearer to 8 feet tall, swaying some as she tried to get a good look of the boil riding bareback on...someone. Her long, muscular arms were both at her side, tail flicking against the ground with the growing excitement! Was he really riding a horse? Was he naked? Natalia couldn't tell the ladder, but found the undead's transportation to be most formidable.
"MORT!" She called back, jumping once before falling forward onto her hands for an easier gait. She raced after him, although not nearly as fast as the equine he rode...calling back to him...and calling out for those that were also a part of her team.
"MORT! WHISPER! MEI! LW! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Amrita started to back away from Caelius as more of her fellow students started to attack. The friends she had been standing there to defend had left, and as that was the only reason she was that close to the apparent Boss!Hunter, it was time to back up now. As she moved away from the general battle zone, she spotted someone similar nearby, just wailing on...someone; Christof. The ghoul had to stop and stare, trying to process why he looked different. Hrm...was it the fish guts? Not really, but that was mildly distressing to see as a fish-lover. What was it...perhaps he certainly looked more patchy than--- It donned on her why he looked so different, and that was about when her face started changing all sorts of fun blushy colours. Oh. Err. Um. Naked. Yes. She should probably help him with that...but oh Jack, if she got too close he'd see how badly this body was damaged! The ghoul found herself stuck between a rock and a hard place, merely staring at Christof like a doe in the headlights. To top it off she had questions - lots of questions, including but not limiting to two of his mini-appendages - but asking them meant getting close, meant facing him battered and bloody (but in a pretty albeit ripped dress!), and she just wasn't ready for that yet. Luckily for her, something broke her concentration; mainly a large-dog-sized fire beast swishing it's tail. Vee's flame-y appearance was what made her decision, and also forced the Vetala to stare for a moment or two, until-- "...EEK!" She squeaked loudly, taking off towards the first friend she laid eyes on - Lizzy, apparently. The Spider ghoul would almost instantly have a battered (not so little) patchwork in her personal bubble; Amrita was quite through with being brave today. She was too tired now; there was too much fire everywhere, their attacks against the Hunter-Boss seemed useless not to mention counter-productive, and their Teacher was going to die. It was too much for her now. Way too much. She just wanted to go home, or to wake up and find out it was all some crazy hallucination, like that one time on the boat...

Ariane's attack hit her harder than she'd expected, and Vieve winced, leaping back before charging the other girl again.
Dog? She was no dog. Small as she admittedly was, Vieve was decidedly a salamander. Did she even look fluffy? Snarling, the salamander chased after Ariane, stopping when she noticed them all clustering together. She had no intention of being the recipient of a whole barrage of attacks.
But the girl hadn't given up on her prey. With a low growl she turned, flew towards the nearest cluster of halloweeners. Even she wasn't stupid enough to tackle a crowd on her own.
But Amrita wasn't quite out of the danger zone yet, it seemed.
"Lizzy," the salamander said, by way of greeting. It was... good to see the spider demon was fine, though Vieve found her eyes wandering, looking around for Lattice.
But the other girl was nowhere in sight.

((Nat form vee is pretty much a walking bonfire, so be careful around her~ She's a dragony creature about the size of a fully-grown Great Pyrenees. She looks somewhat like this!))

All Vee's appearance did was make Amrita give a long, strained eeeeeeeee noise in her throat with her jaw clenched tight, eye wide, and physically latch on to her slightly smaller Demoness friend. Firewhywasitalwaysfirewhywasitsoclosegetawaygetaway. But still, the only real noise she admitted was that low eeeeeeeee.

 Barth nodded as civilly as you could to someone you were meeting for the first time naked. He was not openly bleeding or wounded anywhere, just bruised and very exhausted looking. "Nets?" He didn't see any nets. This didn't look like a capture session. It looked like all-out war. Barth looked towards the giant creature. "That's...Red?" He asked, incredulously. "But she's been- biting at our people. Why are we...? And have the hoods taken anyone? They can't go back to their tent, the house- did something with all their equipment." Mandy had said something was wrong with Red, but the whole area was... fluctuating. HP: 7

 Legs, after running and stumbling away from the not-Reaper, finally managed to reunite herself with her upper half. An angry, worried stomp of her sneakers indicated she didn't want Tess to leave her proverbial sight. And her winged counterpart shared the sentiment. Unfortunately not enough that would allow Tess to merge with Legs. Besides, wingless she was far more vulnerable.
She was about to suggest they look for Lizzy when a bright crackle of flame caught their attention. Crimson eyes widened while Legs went rigid in terror, "UNHOLY JACK, STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" she screamed at the sight of Vieve.

As such, his first reaction was to search for his team mates and LW, which he'd only just seen moments prior to the large fish surfacing and nearly drowning all the students in minty freshness. Their numbers were changing. It seemed that a completely new group as joining them and as Shehk looked around, she found she was looking for two individuals in general; The unicorn and the skinwalker. Were they in these ranks? It looked like a lot of people were being reunited with their groups. Good. Good. This would both help morale for people to stop worrying about their teammates but...
There were also those who didn't look so great and wouldn't exactly be a sight for sore eyes. She herself was one of those, but none the less she paused, almost out of the protective 'guard' she'd been put into by the giant Red, before she turned to look up at the colossal creature that had once been the figure of her hero.
"RED! I'm going now! I know somewhere in there, you need me, but they need me too!" She paused momentarily, biting her lower lip. "I'll come back, so please...... wait and let it be me." She was sure she wasn't the only student who wanted to take the burden of everything upon themselves but... Shehk couldn't help but have the thought.
But first, she needed to find Toby and Nukpana so she could get them up to date with what was going on and...make sure they were alright. Oh Jack dammit..she really hoped they were alright....

 Before did his best to pick up his pace as he ran towards Caelius and the rest of the Hunters. It was instincts and team loyalty that had him positioning himself as close to Gale and Bix while keeping Ariane in sight. When he saw their leader's partner was back, he couldn't stop himself from giving a teary-eyed smile of relief.
"O-oh yay! Boss-dude's partner is back!" he beamed to Gale before reaching with his free hand for Bix, intending to point out the obvious. Only he found his bro was having a close encounter with Candace and because the female Hunter had bladed booterangs, Before chose to simply swallow the sentiment.
Vanna, too, gave a sigh of relief of her own, Ah, you are slowly returning to your old self, silly Before!
The Life Hunter trainee knew what his partner meant and mentally gave a sheepish smile and an apologetic chuckle for making her worry. He wasn't over the command-pendants and the things he'd done because of Dr. H but... for now he had something to focus on and was letting his emotions ease back into him.

((If I missed anyone else talking to this group, sorry. I'm sort of speed skimming before work.))
It seemed they were getting a small group and while Calder stuck close to Barth, his tail being held up in front of him, he gave a little wave to Mandy. He didn't mind being naked, but he was tired, now cold as he was wet, and feeling horrible not to mention reeking of mint water. It wasn't a good day, and he felt both happy and bad that Barth was protecting him through it all.
At the summary of current events, Calder had the same surprised look as he glanced across the field. "THAT'S Red? I thought she'd be....more wolfy. Great. She was scary when she was a professor. Now she's bonkers and trying to murder us." Where was the other faculty then? Oh right, there was barely anyone here from the current staff. Grreeeaaatt.
Then, after a moment, a light finally turned on in his head. "Their weapons are US?" And then a longer moment to finally connect the dots. Gasping, he turned to Barth. "Did they try to turn me into a weapon??!!" FINALLY he got it!

"Before?" Bix rubbed his eyes with a free hand and swung his head around. His braid whipped around and hit several people in the vicinity. "Sorry.. uhh.." He wrapped it back around his neck. He felt out with his hands for his Bro. He saw blurry brown hair and teal coat and grabbed blindly for him. "Seems the tables have turned. One of those things made me temporarily.. umm blind kind of." He wasn't totally blind but this did totally suck. "Be my crutch." He gave Before a crooked grin and threw his arm over the hunter's shoulders until they received their next order from Caelius.
