Yakov stared putting various item in various pans. "It's feeling a little to much like a murder scene that nearly happened for my tastes."

Yakov smiled. "You have no idea how cute you are when you pout like that." He shuffled some food about. "Actually, you did really well. He would have just thought it really amusing had you done all the defending. I coulda just maybe heard a little more protests from you when it was suggested I wasn't good enough." He handed Jeff a plate with two giant omelets on it. "Now, go eat your breakfast."
