Xia's smile echoed her expression and her eyes as she chuckled at her words. "That, my dear, is a matter of opinion. Trust me." Her tail swished behind her as she gazed up at her.
Shai-ming crawls over to Xiao and sniffs her paw.

Xiao smiled. "I thank you, my queen. I will do my best to serve you." She looked down at the cub. She had not yet met the little ones. "Hello, little one. I'm Xiao Rou... who might you be?"

Nuri saw the look and narrowed his weird eyes. Her impatient reply he attributed to hormones, or a closed mind. Did she not realize what would happen to him if Ling found out that, not only did he have a litter-on-the-way by Pastel, but Nuri had left her to fend for herself? As short as the distance may be, Nuri knew, anything could happen between here and the cave. Two intruders overnight had proven that. And by the swell of her belly, she was far enough along to go into labor whether she and the cubs were ready or not. Sometimes being alone...and complications...
Nuri started back toward the cave but glanced backward as he did. Ling could handle himself. If he could not, hopefully he would not be stubborn enough to forsake a call for help. If he was... perhaps he was not a worthy king after all. That thought had nothing to do with his personal feelings, it was the fact of the matter. Nuri sighed softly to himself, knowing that no one in this pride would want to hear this little bit of advice.

Pastel felt his eyes on her and sighed. She really did not mean to make him angery, but she did not like feeling helpless either. She waited for him to catch up to her before starting to walk again. "Nuri...I'm sorry..." Her voice was soft and weak. "I didn't mean to hurt you...if..if I did." She moved forward her tail flicking against his. "I really...I appreciate it, I really do...I just...I've been on my own alot, you know, and I'm not really use to people caring."
Xia kept her smile on her face as she chuckled good humeredly at her son and Xiao. "Good, that way you won't have to kill anything anymore. I could tell by the look on your face before the hunt that you would not enjoy it...this way you can be here with the cubs and have a higher purpose as well.." She motioned for Xiao to make herself comfortable.
Shai-ming looked up at her with his cute eyes and nuzzled her while he purred. "I Shai-ming!" heart

Akira paced back and forth at the front of the cave, hearing all of the other lions worries about the strange male made him worried. As he thought his tail twitched slightly with annoyance, was there anything he could do? "I should have been scouting the land like I was supposed to!" he said to himself angrily "I failed in my duty...!" he said stopping his pacing and sitting down looking sadly at his paws. If only Nola were here...she had seemed to have dissapeared and he needed her kind words the most right now. "oh I hope everything will be ok.." he said quietly "I'm not worthy of being a scout when I didn't even uphold my duty!"

Tristan had been part of the pride for a few months now, staying generally pretty quiet with the exclusion of one excursion with a local lioness, kit kat, resulting in two beautiful cubs, both boys. Tristan was some what of a guard for the pride, calm karma; odd though it was his pride suited him. Tristan was a large white lion, striped in soft blacks. E was the strong silent type, powerful in his own right but by no means a pride leader, not yet anyway. One day he could break off with his son and strike out on his own, forming an alliance with the leader of calm karma, though that was years away and still a dream.
It was now that he walked out onto the prides land, the grass green the night dark, and the warm breeze blowing ever so gently. Early summer always made for the perfect nights. It was not cold, nor unbearably hot. Gabe was asleep in their little corner of the den, he was still young and thus slept much more than any of the other lions full grown or not, he had to get used to not depending on his father, had to adapt to living with a pride. He looked up to the stars, his eyes a deep blue he had much to think on, especially with kit kat.
There was a sound.
Tristan turned his head looking back towards the den, it was not often that he left the den at night, but tonight he was restless. The sound was his young son walking out the small orange cub took after his mother and now he padded towards the large lion. He was half asleep, his steps unsure and wavering ever so slightly. He had his fathers tail, which made him proud, Tristan love his tail and hope for many more cubs to follow Gabe, but the first born is sacred, his most treasured. The cub yawned and let out a tired little purr as he curled up with the other.
Tristan smiled ever so slightly, lying down with his son laying his paw over the tiny body. There was something bothering him, his brows knit and tail twitching from side to side as he guarded his son, he guarded his son as he often guarded the pride. His son was his joy, the apple of his eye, and he hoped some day to have many more rather they little lions or lionesses. He looked from side to side watching for others; surely they could not be the only ones up this late at night. He looked off a bit in the distance and saw that there were indeed others, others that did not look nor sound happy. He pulled his son closer giving the little ones tired head a soft nuzzle. He was glad that there had been very little emotionally between he and kit kat, very little indeed. He liked her, but not as a permanent mate, he doubted that ever to happen.

"You are talking nonsence Akira. There is no way that you could have done anything about this." Adelle came out and sat down next to the young male. "Besides you were with Nola when this started so it is not your fault." She smiled motherly at him hoping that it would help him regain his confedence.
Nola then rounded the corner and grinned at seeing Akira. "Hey!" She walked over and sta down on his other side. "What you guys talking about?"

Akira smiled at the two of them and then looked at Adelle, "thanks" he said purring slightly, feeling comforted. he looked over at Nola again and chuckled a little, "oh nothing" he said "I was just saying that I was going to go out and scout the territory more often" he said nuzzling her happily.

Xiao smiled at the little boy. "Well hello there, Shai-Ming!" She smiled at him warmly. "He's so affectionate..." It made Xiao think of her sister, and how when they were cubs, she was the affectioante one. "It's true, I wasnt too fond of hunting... that was more of Kun Yi's specialty." Se said honestly to Xia.

Nola nuzzled him in return and her tail beat the ground quiet happy indeed. Adelle smiled and then walked off into the grassy plains. She needed to walk alone for a while for her mind needed to be cleared.

Meribelle slept curled up at the mouth of the cave. Her blue bangs covered her right eye, and paw under her cheek, while her tail wrapped around to cover her nose. She was fast asleep, and happliy so, leaving all the woes and worries of the others far behind.

TWizTed_SoUl "There is a stretch of land along the west side of my Lands that you may have. The North Bank I need to seal my alliance with Rackna and provide safe travel for my mother's visits." He was not attached to the west bank of his Pridelands and would give it up. "The ruins as well has become home to my Pride, I cannot give that up."
That center of his territory was his home, and not only his but Kish'ya and Red's. No, he would not give up every bit of his lands but he would give some of it. "However, I live across the desert..." "Being so far away is potentially problematic, however...it is a tempting offer all the same." He thought things over for a moment before standing, looking to Mika'il over his shoulder. "I invite you to follow me...I will let you see your queen, and I will consult with my advisor." He smiled at Mika'il, at least he was being slightly reasonable.

The younger male followed the other. "I have nothing else to offer but my own blood, Ling." He stayed to the King's right flank, deferring to his rank on his own lands.

"I do not expect you to give me blood, Mika'il...infact, I'd rather you not...I will speak with my advisor and decern a way to make this sharing of land work for both of us." He moved swiftly towards the cave, drawing near where Pandora had been hiding. He smiled, his eyes flashing in her direction before moving on. Ling was no fool, he knew she was there, let her do as she would with the information gathered.

Mika ignored the lioness, more intent on seeing his Queen. It had been so long since he had seen her. And the cubs, how far along was she? Was she faring well?
