Dude! I couldn't imagine trying to live off that in California... Min Wage here is $6.75... A whole dollar fifty difference... But it really adds up. And I think they are looking at raising the Min... Yay... But... Not yay...

The Law of Physics... Not Law as in... You're under arrest!) When the price of living rises, minimum wage will rise. Or people will just push for a raise... This meaning companies must pay more for their employees... So they will lay off their employees because they very well can't just not work them... So the people are out of a job... It's a vicious cycle... Thus why people truly strive for employee of the month... Employee of the month NEVER gets fired...
