SugarBeat_Angel Yup... It is a common law of Economics... (Law like... The Law of Physics... Not Law as in... You're under arrest!) When the price of living rises, minimum wage will rise. Or people will just push for a raise... This meaning companies must pay more for their employees... So they will lay off their employees because they very well can't just not work them... So the people are out of a job... It's a vicious cycle... Thus why people truly strive for employee of the month... Employee of the month NEVER gets fired... True... But when people spend more, then more workers are needed to meet the demand...

But I never believed the part of them acting kind towards the Native Americans and the whole religion thing. I always knew there was a ugly side to it...Yeah... I never believed they got along... I mean... They couldn't communicate... The 'White Man' were clearly invading their homes... It was likely to be more to the hostilities that were in the Disney movie Pocahontas... But even that isn't completely true to tale... Click Me if you want to read! But meh... I dealt... Good link 3nodding

But this is only in the production stages of a good... And let's be frank... Most of the production comes from out of the country... And is purchased at really cheap prices... Or it is made in America by hispanics that work for next to nothing... (Not trying to be racist... But it is common knowledge that hispanics straight from Mexico get the most jobs because they work for next to nothing...)

Good link 3nodding Meh... now I've got that damned "Just around the River Bend" song stuck in my head. The whole article thingy at that site kind of baffles me a little... just how serious it takes the movie and how dumbed-down it is. For instance, the sentance, "Disney was more interested in telling a good story than in sticking to the facts." Does that really need to be spelled out? It was a movie with a talking willow tree. Does anyone else need to be reminded of the talking willow tree?? What historical value did that have? I rest my case.

Well the tree symbolized her connection with the Earth and the 'spirits' within it... Which is what the indians believed in... A devine spirit that ruled the Earth and everything on it... Which was why they asked permission of trees to cut them down... Or permisson of Animals to kill them... *scenario wave* Indian: Spirit if nature... Life of the deer... May I have your permission to take your life to provide food for my tribe? Deer: Jee... I dunno... I... *screachin arrow flies through the air and empales the deer... Killing it... Dead...* Indian: Thank you devine spirit...

I dunno... I... *screachin arrow flies through the air and empales the deer... Killing it... Dead...* Indian: Thank you devine spirit... True enough. The only point I'm really trying to make is that this Disney flick was based about as much on history as others were on the fairy tales they were named after. Some character names, plot similarities.... that's about it. Did you ever read the original Alladin? You know, the one with two genies, neither of which were "silly"? How about The Little Mermaid? Disney almost got it, except for that whole dying part. Yeah, they kinda left that part out. Which makes me suddenly realize why many Disney sequals suck so badly.... the characters they're based around are all supposed to be dead. There's no plot left for them to alter severely and sugar-coat, so they don't have anything to do but make up stuff on their own for their supposed-to-be-dead characters to do. My brain gets like this sometimes around 1:30 AM.

I fully agree... Though I am quite a fan of all said disney movies... The originals stand alone in their own respect... But where would we be without that classic hope of what these Romantics have become... They give young children hope and the false sense of security that when you grow up... Your prince charming or damsel in distress will be there for you to ride off into the sunset with...
Oh yeah... And that little Cindy Meyers... It's just proof once and for all that she REALLY is Maleficent in disguise! And you CAN beat her!

Um... yes? sweatdrop But really, I did mean that thing about Jasmine and all those others in a not-necisarily-sexual way... I mean, I'd be quite content to just flirt with them a bit, go out on a date, maybe a hug and possibly even a kiss.... C'mon, neither of them would be "easy," nor would I really want it that way. I act all sex-driven, but there are certainly other things that go through my mind. I'd far rather an unattractive but intelectual woman than a hot brainless ditz. And that alone says something.
