He stopped where he was and looked at her. "Well we wouldn't want that now would we?" He couldn't care less if her mane and coat became stringy. She's still look just as beautiful either way.

She tried to give him a stern look as she turned and halted in about ankle-deep water, but failed because the corners of her muzzle kept quirking into a grin. "Of course not! I'd turn into a fuzz ball!"
Ilianna, seeing that he had stopped, turned to come closer to him again...but when she was hardly a full-body length again, she grinned devilishly and reared, then stomped the water HARD, sending a spray of water over them both.

"Oh well we deffinetly don't want you turning into a fuzz ball." He watched her move towards him with a smile. As she reared, he turned to flee but caught the wave of water head on. His short stubby mane now clinging to his neck, he approached her and tried to shake some water off on her. "That wasn't very nice," he said jokingly.

After walking away from Helaku the stallion, she arrived at the lake and there she was peacefully alone. I wonder if he followed or not. Looking back, she didn't see anyone coming, so she layed down and rested herself. I never knew mother liked another stallion, I guess it all depends on the heart... Sighing, she rolled onto her back and looked up, it was getting dark.

"Can soquili affect each other so much?" Anubis thought seriously. "I never realized it, seeing as how I haven't met anyone like that and I don't plan to anytime soon." Anubis snorted at that thought. "Anyways, if your father prefers that, theres no way to change that then," he said bluntly looking at Couscous curiously.
"That was a theoretical question, wasn't that?" he muttered to himself as Couscous called out to him and Maize.
"That sounds like a lot, doesn't it ever bother you?" Anubis asked almost in a scoffing manner, it would annoy him to death if other soquili lived where he was. He was perfectly fine by himself. "I prefer my quiet time over a family time." He said lightly to Maize while jogging. Hearing Maize's little whisper, he gave her a quick glance believing Maize must've had a harder life than him.
A strong gust of wind blew, rustling the leaves and trees, running along his sleek mane and tail giving it a ripple effect. The scent of other soquili were carried along. "Those are unfamiliar scents, are we very close now?"

Maize nodded sullenly, looking at Anubis. "I just hope heartbreak won't be a friend we'll be acquainted with in the future." She smiled, amused by him yet also pitying him. "Ah - I see. I have someone in my heart right now... And I hope I am in his." She blushed quickly and lightly, turning her head away at the same time so no one would see. Turning back to Anubis again, she found her eyes to wander down to the ground in hurt sympathy. "And I don't think father prefers it... It's just that he needs it." She giggled out loud as Anubis muttered to himself.
Up ahead, Couscous felt the wind brush past him, carrying the sounds of the two behind him. One particular gust of wind blew by, echoing the muttering of Anubis. He let out one brief breath of laughter and continued walking, increasing his pace with each and every step. He could sense the faint scent of his herd. Home was near.
"I enjoy the company of others," Maize said shyly. "I mean... Even though if others aren't very... interested in me all the time... I like the company that I get when others are simply around. Even if they don't talk to me. The mere presence of soquili brightens my heart." She breathed in contentedly, closing her eyes, as if in a deep trance. Even though she was surrounded by many soquili, she never really felt uneasy being surrounded by the multitudes. She never really talked to anyone, either; she mostly talked to her sister, Rei, and sometimes even Kasumi; but otherwise, most of her time at her teepee was spent in quietness. A slow nod came from her when she, too, recognized the scents coming from afar. "Yes..." she plainly said, "We are near. I cannot wait until I introduce you. You're going to be a part of our family--whether you like it or not!" She smiled, a faint glow of joy surrounding her complexion.

"If one meets with love, they should never encounter it, but thats not the way of life no?" He said abruptly. Looking at maize with a jesting grin, he gave a cheeky grin. "That kinda love, huh?" he ave a wry grin. "No need to pity, I enjoy my life without that kinda relationship. I hope you have luck on yours though." He laughed to himself thinking Maize was quite cute. He hoped whoever she liked liked her back because she appeared to be a very admirable soquili.
Keeping quiet on his part of Couscous, he went on to the conversation. "Is it just me or is Couscous speeding up faster than us?" Anubis said with pretend annoyance.
"Oh no! Thats horrible! A new family!" Anubis said in mock horror pretending to be shocked. Giving a easy-going smile to Maize, he answered "Your family must be pretty nice. You seem so happy when we talk about them." He gave a charming smile to her. "I don't suppose I'm the only blue one there, am I?" He said hoping he didn't sound pushy. He didn't mind his color -- just the opposite, he liked it! It was always interesting though to see if there were others like him.

A partially confused look was thrown at Anubis as Maize listened on. Why should one never encounter love if they meet it? She turned her head away and thought to herself. Perhaps Anubis held a different opinion on the subject matter. She smiled. He seemed like such an admirable stallion. A quick blush came over her as he wished her luck on her relationship, and nodded in thanks, a shy smile blooming on her face.
Couscous gave no worry as to whether the other two could see him or not. Maize knew the way, and the two would eventually reach the destination soon after him. He could tell that any moment now, a member of his herd could possibly be spotted. He was nearing the territory now, very close... He stopped, ears pricking up, receiving the sounds up ahead. It was a long hiatus of motion before Couscous broke into a sudden gallop, leaving his daughter and their new friend behind. He was out of sight within seconds, hidden by the randomly-scattered trees. He was gone--he was home.
"Even if you don't pursue it, should you not be curious about relationships such as those?" Maize wondered aloud. She looked at Anubis again and chuckled at him--he was so nice! He seemed like he was truly enjoying her wisdom and company, unlike a few others she met on her travels--unless he was being fake, in which case...
She nodded slowly as she continued listening to Anubis. "My family is nice, although when I spend time with them, I often keep to myself. It is a rare occurrence when I am approached, and when I am, it is to either ask something of me or it lasts for a short while. And yes," she grinned, "I believe you're the only blue one... For now, that is." She winked. "Our herd grows as time passes by each season. I hope that's not too much trouble, Anubis?" She quickened her pace while allowing for herself to not go too fast in consideration for Anubis. Anticipation filled her heart as the setting was becoming more easily recognizable.

Anubis gave a quick glance to Maize while he trotted, seeing her confused, them smile, and them smile again. She sure went through moods quickly, Anubis said smiling to himself.
"Er. Couscous just disappeared?" Anubis said staring at where Couscous just stood. "Have we reached your home yet? Is that why Couscous disappeared so quickly?" By now, the scents were clear that there were other soquili close by.
"It must be lonely to only be approached like that, but if its family, its better than some strange soquili, perhaps?" Anubis said hesitantly. His moods changing swiftly, he jokingly said, "I should feel special! The only blue one! Such a honor." He gave a fake bow to Maize before hastening his speed to match with Maize's once more. "No trouble at all, you know what they all say. The more the merrier!" he said light-heartedly looking forward to meeting those in the group.
Sensing a cheerful change in Maize, he chuckled. No matter what Maize said, she really loved her family. He pondered wistfully, do I love anyone like that? Before he could answer -- they were suddenly in a place with many soquili. "Have we finally reached the herd?" His eyes scanned the area looking back and forth.

Glancing around at his new surroundings, Aurorealis was surprised at the various things that this place could offer. The landscaping was nice and the soquili were decent too. Though then again, he hadn't met a kalona yet so guess he couldn't say that for sure. But so far, he approved of this place for once. Maybe someday he'd go back home... The stallion shook the thought from his mind. No. That wasn't possible, not now, not ever.
Anyway, he was enjoying his day, thankfully. You didn't want to see Aurorealis on his rare 'bad' days. He had them just like everybody else but his were... magnified, ten fold. But thankfully, those were very rare. The soquili moved through the tall grass with grace, his sleek black coat shimmered slightly as the sun reflected off of it. He stretched his wings lazily as they were getting stiff but then placed them back into their original positions.

Once a legendary beast,Atsilas cantered down to the Soquili's land river to quench her thrist, sending the blooms of pollens behind her.She tossed her long mane side to side which was decorated with sweet scented lillies as the breeze messed up her mane.

The stallion's ears flickered slightly and he turned to gaze at what had just come into the same area as him. He tilted his head as he noticed Atsilas. Oh, now... who is this? He didn't approach but he watched her from a distance. She had an odd... horn on her head? How curious that looked, Aurorealis had never seen a unicorn before. So this meeting intrigued him greatly.

The mare paused as she picked up an unfamiliar scent when the breeze blew by. "Some soquilis may be nearby" as she thought. Atsilas perked up her ears, checking the surrounding for any of her own kind as she slow down her pace. A dark figure captured her sight by the river, she had never seen any as dark as this soquili before yet something different about the stranger.

Aurorealis was rather astonished by the other soquili, not only because of her single horn but also because of her coloration. She was completely white and he was as black as it got. It was just unusual to him, and it took a lot to get this soquili interested.
Slowly, he approached the mare. "Hello there." He spoke with a soothing tone. He wondered if she had been around her longer, and maybe knew more about the place then he did.

Atsilas's eyes stared at the stallion's unusual coat, comparing it to hers.It was just the opposite..black and white! "Hi!" as she greeted back to the approaching dark figure with huge pair of feathered wings attached on it's muscular back. "Are you new? I haven't seen you around here before." as she eyed up at the stallion's wings, splattered with colorful colors at the end of each wings. " My human companion named me Atsilas a-ma but called me Atsilas will do" the unicorn winked at the dark stallion.
