Xenoth nodded and closed his eyes for a moment. Those sensitive to magical auras would be able to feel a slight fluxuation of such as he gathered a bit of energy. It wasn't much, just a simple summoning magic. He held his right hand out to the side as though he were grasping something. A long, wide blade materialized itself. It was silver with a black hilt. "You be careful as well" he responded.

She nodded and unlocked the window. "Gentlemen first." she said simply, her eyes gentle as her claws and fangs grew a bit. "Which one do you want if they come after us?" she asked him.

Xenoth stepped up to the window sill and placed a foot on it. He glanced over to her. "Does it matter?" he asked.

She smiled, a fang gleaming gentle. "Depends on if it gets bloody." she whispered, lifting up the window with a grin. "Go on now. If you want me to distract them I will." she said softly.

"Do what you want...it makes little difference ultimately. Just don't get yourself caught or in trouble...it'd be bothersome to save you" he said to her. He leapt out of the window and let his wings quickly unfurl to catch the air. He landed without a sound, in the dark shadow of the building.

"Me? In danger? How morbid." she said with a smile as she leaned backwards into the wall. Her shadow merged warmly with the shadows on the wall and a small fog lifted her outside unnoticed. When she reappeared, only her top half was visible, the rest still in a shadowy like fabric. "Where to Romeo?" she questioned sarcastically.

Xenoth shrugged and looked around the town. "That depends...if we're wanting to leave town all together...then that'll be simple...if our goal is something different...that would make things different" he answerd.

"I want to find out why my blood went missing." she said gently, turning her head slowly. "Shhhhh..." she put a finger to her lips and her body vanished, footsteps heading there way. "I suggest you hide yourself." her voice whispered in his ear.

Xenoth closed his eyes and silently mouthed the words to an illusion spell. He cast it over himself, for all purposes causing him to disappear completely both from sight and most other senses. He watched with anticipation for who was coming upon them.

The dull crunch of footsteps echoed as two men walked into the clearing, one holding a bloody knife and a rag. "I believe everything is in order?" he asked sternly, glancing about in a nervous way.
"Yes, it is. The traps have been set for the towns folk, and those two newcomers. Odd looking couple. I still think it was a bad idea to have stolen all those red bags from the woman's bag." the second man said, sighing stiffly.
"Ehh, it will keep her in the room. Best to keep trespassers on a leash and in doors." the first man said, cleaning the blood from the knife.

Xenoth watched the men walk by and eyed the knife in the one's hands. Traps? What is going on around here? he thought to himself. It was clear where the vampire's blood went however.

"But, how is spilling all that red stuff on the walls going to keep her in her room? What was the stuff anyway?" the second man asked, kicking a twig across the ground.
"Ehh, don't worry with it. Just trust me, when we started drying it, it'll smell, that's why I told you to get everyone but those two out." the first man said, putting the knife back into a hilt on his waist.
So`na bit her hand from screaming in frustration and rage, her claws cutting into her hand, blood swelling up to her palm. If any of it slipped down, it would fall on one the of men's shoulders, eating away at the shirt material like it was acid until it was full.

Xenoth was surprised at these people. They knew So`na was a vampire and even devised a way to trap her in the room while they did whatever it was they're planning. I wonder...what is going on here he thought to himself once more. The curiosity was so strong, he contemplated following them.

"Well, either way, we should hurry. A few of the men are going to get together at the 'Lazy Bar' and see what the other town folk are trying to pull.
"Yes sir, I'll follow your lead." the second man said as they began to walk.
A small drop of blood slipped from So`na's hand and feel just behind them, a small sizzle sound erupted. The first man turned quickly and drew the knife.
"Did you hear that?" he questioned, a paranoid look on his face.
"Hear what? Leaves rustle?" the second man seemed clueless.

Xenoth held his breath as they turned and looked sharply up at where her percieved So`na to be. He waited for the men to hopefully decide it was nothing and move along. He went like to avoid bloodshed if at all possible. Though he could just knock them both out with a spell if need be.
