Gelio looked around the study, admiring the dusty books. On a side table, a human skull sat. Beside it, a note was secured to the table by a knife. He pulled the knife out of the table and dropped it, picked up the note, and read it.

No way out. No way out. No way out. No way out. No way ou-

With a sick feeling Gelio quickly left the room and went towards the stranger. Pushing the door open, he stopped short, looking at the stranger.

((Wow... you're really indescriptive, H_G. O: ))

At the sound of another door, Iman looked up. Gelio had stormed through them and was now looking down over the railing at Iman, who was on the floor below, or so it appeared. "Why looking so stirred up, Gelio?" Iman asked the man. "S'this place got ghosts?"

"So it would appear." Demi said softly, voice low and distant. Clear and dark blue eyes took in the room before Deyanria closed the door again. "Whoever created this place certainly spared no expence making it lavish. A place you might want to stay. If you knew why you were here, and why your parents married you." She pulled her long snake of hair over her left shoulder and smoothed it with one hand, thinking. Footsteps and another voice caused her to turn and look up at the other young man she had seen from before. "Ghosts aren't worrying. Ghosts can't hurt you. People can."

"No ghosts, but human skulls in the library, yes." Gelio walked by both of them and began looking for another door. "I'm leaving. If I have to blow a hole in the building, I'll get out." He opened a random door. It was a closet. "Damn. What is this place, a sick maze?"

She arched an eyebrow, and then shook her head slowly. "No, just a well constructed mansion. And I think that if you calm down somewhat, you will at least find a way out of the house." Demi ran long fingers through her hair, thinking again. "It's actually not to bad here, rich perhaps, but not uncomfortable."

"Come to think of it, I know exactly why my parents married me off, but I'm still not all so comfortable," Iman stated to Demi. He sighed. "You're right, it is pretty nice here. Unfortunately, unless I find some kind of basement or cement area or something, I'm going to feel terribly stuffy and restricted if we do end up having to live here." He placed a hand on top of his head. "I was taught to do whatever I want, but do it politely, in the appropriate place, and be sure it's cleaned up afterwards. I can't really do much of anything I really want in a room full of modern art and high-definition electronics."

"A basement. Some where cool and calm, away from people. And somewhere that doesn't have anything important to break. Finding somewhere like that would be nice. For your reason, and for my own." Demi murmered, walking over to a door and pulling it open. Another hallway. This one had few doors along its length. It turned a corner, and was lit only by electric lights, there were no windows. "Well, seek and ye shall find."

"I think I'll seek for an exit, first. I don't know about you, but I'd like to know how to get out of this place when the need or necessity comes along." Iman paused his words to think about how he intended to do so. "By the looks of it, the hallway with the bedrooms is the back of this place. I'll be going this way," he stated, pointing to the farthest door from the bedroom hallway. He approached it, and opened the door. It actually looked something like an entrance hall, and there were two large doors in front. "Well, what do you know..." he whispered. He took another glance over his shoulder at Demi.

She gave him a small, wry smile. "Alright. Be sensible." Demi closed her door, knowing that he did have a point. It didn't bother her either. "It would be nice to know where we are, at least vaguely. And some fresh air would be appreciated." I need to stretch my wings anyways. I wonder if it's possible to fly out of here? Or would there be some sort of enchatment or guard against that? If they knew that someone who could fly would be coming here, they would have put up measures to spot them, right? Or are we going to be allowed to leave? Demi grimaced at the headache she was starting to give herself.

"Sorry, I have a bad habit of doing that. Being sensible, I mean," Iman apologized. "Lets see if we can get out of here, then. I figure if we can get out those doors, this place is at least gated. For the sake of safety if nothing else." Iman held his hand out to Demi for her to take and be led. Iman's face, though, was pretty much expressionless.

Demi hesitantly reached out her hand and took Deyanira's hand. "It's alright, there's nothing wrong with being sensible. It's actually preferable." Her grimace faded, leaving a neutral, though thoughtful mask in its wake. The slightest glimmer if silver flickered in her eyes before dissapearing.

Ayla walked out of her room after she had freshned up she went looking for the kitchen as she figured if she was stuck here hre mother would have stocked the house with blood for her. she found the kitchen after searching in many rooms. She saw gelio, a girl, and guy in one room as she searched deciding that she would go there next after getting the blood.
she walked in and found a pantry that looked like the one she had had at home and opened it to find it stocked full with blood. she grabbed a bag of o positive her favorite as she was in a bad mood and walked into the room sucking on the bag of blood.

Just before Ayra entered, Iman led Demi out through his doorway. Guiding her by the hand, he strode quickly, almost pulling her, to the doors and moved his hand towards it. An instant of nervous panic hit Iman before he touched, considering what he might do if the doors didn't open. Contact. Action. Release. Movement. The door did open, and he almost even breathed a sigh in his own relief. There before them was the front of the mansion, an elaborate gate in the distance. Perhaps the gate itself was not open, but they were outside none the less.

Demi took a deep breath of the fresh cool air. She hadn't realised how much being inside had made her nervous. Uptight. Trapped. A slight shiver raced up and down her back before dissapearing. Bright blue sky greeted her from above, a few white clouds drifting lazily in. The lawn was perfectly manicured, but it was real and it was green. From somewhere she could hear water, perhaps a stream or a pond. The silver glimmer reappeared.
