"Here to help!" Th'dyona screamed in rage and her wings exploded to their full span. The little wench, thinking she can control the elements, going on about my trees, wrapping me into some conspiracy....WENCH! Thinking flattery would work when she can't even used my name respectfully, calling me Th'dyona...." She then proceded to call Natasha several names in the acient language of the Todem that are really to foul to actually have a translation. "And you! You deny me a chance to aleast terrorize her before she could disappear." She then backhanded Say'ril accros the face. Seeing the resignation in his eyes just as she made contact calmed her down. She refolded her wings and held Say'ril in a soft embrace and kissed the mark that was already fading from his cheek.
"Don't fret my dear, you had every right to be upset with her...and me."
"Don't say such things, I never have the right to be upset with you. Come, I think its high time we had another feast, the one from this morning seems to be wearing off, I can almost hear our people becoming restless."
The both laughed as the dove of the cliff in a free fall and headed home.

Lau quickly turned around to see what had hit him. Oh, it was a woman. "I'm sorry miss, allow me to help you up." He said, offering his hand. He wasn't surprised that she had fallen after running into him. He's practically a walking wall. Lau had a polite smile on his face. People often became confused when Lau acted politely, it seemed to be a rare trait nowadays. His appearance also doesn't exactly make him seem too nice. That and the fact that he's usually rather stoic, which for some reason is often taken as rudeness.

"I'm Bored!" Whined a voice from behind Dravan and Cybele. And with a pop came the body that was attactched to that voice. Natasha was now wearing a hot pink tube top that looked a size too small and black skin tight capri's. As usual, she was shoe-less and her matching hot pink toe-nail polish glittered in the light. She was sitting cross legged on part of the control panal. "Don't you people do anything FUN!?" She sighed with exasperation and pouted as a few of her newly turned purple hairs fell in front of her face. She thew her head back to get rid of the hair and laughed. "I know let's throw a party and invite the Queen of Bharata and the leader of those crazy winged albino people from that one forrest and then with you, my dear Dravan," Natasha batted her eyelashes in his direction," and Cybele of course," Natasha rolled her eyes, "we could have a little ethnic pow-wow! Wouldn't it be great!?" Natasha pretended to be shocked. "But wait, I don't know how having killed the Queens daughter would go as a party favor....oh well!" Natasha smiled and laughed.
(btw, I leave for Europe later today and I have no idea when I will be near a computer next. So feel free to move my character about if you fee it nesisary. I can deal with it later! I love you alls! BYES!!!!)

Cybele just gawked at Natasha. Is she trying to get me killed? Dravan flailed his arms at Natasha trying to get her off the control panel. "Nghaah... No pow-wowing! We need to pick up supplies. Besides, those Todems scare me... Anyway!! We're here."He stood up looked at Cybele. She raised her eyebrow, "What?" He twitched his head towards the door. She rolled her eyes and got up as well. Without saying another word to Natasha the two left. Once they were out on the dock Dravan spoke up, "She weirds me out..." he whined. Cybele scoffed. "That's just because she hits on you like a drunk hooker." She was still a little worried about the comments back on the ship.

Back underground, the party was raging. Trays of food were being passed around by anyone who would pass a tray. Three bands were playing different music simultaneously from various parts of the giant city square. Swirls of colored smoke wove in and out of the tangle of roots overhead as they rose up from the crowd's various potions, purfumes, and incense. Nearly the every Todem came to these sort of parties, luckily to square was designed for this and all could dance quite comfortable to whatever music the happened to be able to hear best. Th'dyona and Say'ril louged against a wall in which artisans had long ago carved thrones into the roots. This occassionally had to be redone due the growing nature of roots. Say'ril was thoroughly enjoying himself, as were Ky'el and several others who couldn't help but poping up during these occassions.
Perhaps the little wench was right. Maybe something should be done.
Seriously... Ky'el said. If you say anything about that girls hair I will supress you for a whole year! Said a particularly nasty voice who refused to confess his name. But look at her.... Ky'el whined.
Will you all shut up and let me talk to Say'ril, this rather important as it concerns a royal family member's death and all. You are very welcome to submit legitimate opinions if you wish. And don't think I have no way to punish you just because you live with Say'ril. I can tell when you sneek into our bed. Her eyes flashed violently reflecting a torch which had suddenly grown taller, swirled by an originless draft. I thank the rest of you for maintaining a prudent silence.
I never held much by this rumored dead buisness, Say'ril said softly after a moment of uneasy silence. These people have a nasty tendancy to turn up alive, especially the royal ones.
Cleaver as always. She ran her finger down a fold of his leathery wings. We need to be sure. She pondered for a moment looking into Say'ril's eyes and suddenly she knew exactly what he was thinking...the only thing that had ever terrified her. The Seer, she whispered with so softly that anyone who had not been within an inappropriately intimate distance of such a ruler could hear as if the mere naming of the thing could draw out its horrors. Say'ril, however, simply nodded as if they were only discussing the whether.
Come, it's time you reminded your people what real dancing looks like.
He took her hand and pulled her to the center of the square. As they moved, the crowed gradually stopped dancing and the bands' music began to fade. When they reached the center all was still and everyone was watching and wating. Th'dyona smiled. Say'ril winked at her, waved his hand toward a band and the party began in ernest.

Kleio accepted the man's offered hand, allowing him to pull her from the ground. From his polite attitude, he seemed unaware that she had rammed into him, and that she had not been on the ground because she'd lost her balance, but because she'd been prepared to defend herself. Okay, she'd gotten there by losing her balance, but then she was prepared to defend herself. As the monstrous blue haired fellow pulled her easily to her feet, she examined him, and was impressed. "Excuse me. I was in a hurry and not watching where I was going." The words felt odd. Kleio knew how common courtesy worked, but in these troubled times, in one of the enemy factions ground cities, one rarely found it. It seemed strange to be outside her faction's territory and speaking something other then threats and profanity to a stranger. She found she liked the experience. Having regained her hand after his assistance, she offered it again, this time in greeting. "Hello, I'm Kleio."

Lau took the offered hand. "My name is Lau. Nice to meet you, Kleio." He responded as he shook her hand. "Do you by any chance know your way around this city? I seem to be a bit lost."

"I don't know perfectly, but I might be able to help. Where is it you're trying to go?" Kleio smiled up at the man. He had a firm grip, and along with his manners, she got a very good impression of him. Her instincts told her not to be too nice to someone outside her faction, but she couldn't help it.

Kleio returned the man's smile, conflicted. She had a sudden urge to invite him to come with her. But she was in the middle of a very secretive, very sensitive mission that could lead to bloody, all out war between factions. Not the time to be picking up strays, no matter how nice or good looking. She didn't even know what faction this man was! "What faction are you?" It came out more hostilely then she'd intended, and Kleio bit her lip, feeling a little foolish.

"Oh come on! I heard that!" Natasha yelled out through the ship at Cybele. She huffed and quickly climbed out of the ship and caught up with the two. "I'm not that bad am I?" She took a quick glance at her own clothes and wiggled her pink toes. She giggled softly as they sparkled. "Maybe you would like something more formal?" With that her pink top lengthed down to her feet and grew 20 shades darker into a blood red silk evening gown with a V neck and mid arm sleeves.

Lau chuckled, "I've stayed out of the factions. This war is a foolish endeavor like every one before it." He grimaced, "My apologies, I take it you're from one of the factions. I didn't mean to offend you."
((Two posts in one!))
Cybele and Dravan continued down the dock into the main part of the city. The streets were bustling with vendors trying to sell everything they had. "Do you have any idea where we're going?" Cybele asked Dravan. "Oh sure. I've been here tons of times." He was lying through his teeth but he kept on walking, getting lost even deeper in the city.

Natasha ran to catch up with Cybele and Dravan. "Stop ignoring me! And you are going the wrong direction! I know where everything is here!" She'd also changed back into her previous set of clothing.

Cybele gave Dravan a look, one that probably would have left him dead. "You lying whore..." Dravan scrunched himself into the smallest shape he could, "Sorry. " He then looked at Natasha and stuck his toung out at her like a small child.

Natasha smirked. She turned to Dravan and noticed his childish antics, "Come on, do it again, I dare you." She grinned from ear to ear and bit the air in Dravans direction. "If you are looking for supplies you need to double back and take a left at the giant garbage truck."
