now that i look into it i think i might have Schizophrenia. and i want to talk to my parents bout it but i already kno that they r positive i dont have it. i kno that cause when i was in the hospital last year she wouldnt even let them test me on it....so yeah...can someone give me some advice? thanks!
kira~

Self-diagnosing is never a good thing. And there are no tests that prove Schizophrenia. You will need tests to make sure that you DON'T have a disease that mimics Schizophrenia. I posted to you in the Introduction thread about this. It's really important that you get tested, because some diseases that cause hallucinations are deadly. Your parents have to get you tested for deadly diseases if you're presenting symptoms. It's their requirement as your caregiver.

I have a couple of the above; mainly a mood disorder: I'm Bipolar II. I also suffer from PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder). Both of these are diagnosed. I have the beginings of an ED and also have extreme anxiety (both of these are undiagnosed).

So yes, there's me in a nutshell.

Well...I've been offcially diagnosed with depression...I thought I had BP for a while but I rarely if ever have what you could call manic episodes so depression instead. I've also self-diagnosed (based on moderate research) myself with social anxiety and mild ADHD. I'm actually going to go talk to my shrink about it tomorrow, since I'd been doing research lately....Apparently my depression covered ADHD symptoms, but now that I've been put on meds I'm starting to display several. So yeah, that's me.

xp Are you kidding me asian languages barely have any grammar!!!?!?!?!?!?!? try learning Japanese! xp xp domokun domokun

xd

I did, and it has very little grammar. biggrin

I want to learn Chinese! xp The only things I can say are 'Hello' and 'Do you speak English?' both with terrible accent. sweatdrop
I've been taking Chinese for three years. The grammar is incredibly hard. Everything is opposite of English, and over that, there are like 15 particles which don't really mean anything but are vital to the sentence structure...the worst part, though, is learning all the characters...I can't memorize for crap, and I'm forced to remember about 5 a night in order to pass the quizzes. Not to mention Chinese teachers are notoriously strict.

My psychiatrist said that I fit the profile for major depression, but didn't give me a full diagnosis. Just some meds.

I have an Impulse Control Disorder: Trichotillomania. I am well aware of the fact that many people put hair-pulling into the OCD category, but there are two fields of conflicting research on this topic. I have to say that in my personal experience I would have to say that I pull my hair on impulse rather than due to anxieties and obsessions. I have pulled my hair now for 10 years. I have learned to live with it.

Hehe.. that's put me off a little. I never intended to learn to read it beyond the level an 8 year old can though. xp It's still really cool to me though, where do you learn it?
It's offered at my school, so I just take there with supplements from various people's grandmothers who speak xp

I'm diagnosed with Bipolar II and Social Anxiety. In the past I've been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, and Recurrant Depressive Disorder (because it was cyclical I guess), before I was diagnosed Bipolar.

Beautiful Mess

Officially diagnosed with ADD and GAD
I've had people try to get me to take paxil for depression like 1 or 2 years ago, but I refused. I was diagnosed by a family physician. I've never been to a shrink

The only official diagnoses I had by doctors were ADD and Depression, but since Feb of this year we've started treating me for Anxiety, Social Phobia, Excessive Anger (wtf????????) and then yesterday OCD
