"Well that makes things interesting." Ed said smiling. He picked her up. "So you like swimming well let's go." He said to her smiling.

Ed followed her and grabbed some water and threw it on her. "Having fun yet Kalli?" He asked her.

"Eek!" she squeaked when the cold water hit her. She splashed him back, fussing with the pins that held her hair in a neat bun.

It was a little too quiet in the alleys behind the houses of a poor neighborhood. Kevin was used to it; walking alone, no friends at his side, and the constant sense of danger. A large teenager dressed in baggy clothes stepped out from behind one of the wooden fences. His hands were in fists and he was glaring.
"Hey, yo, b***h! You Kevin Conway the Rich Boy?"
Kevin said nothing and continued walking in the direction of the teen.
"Yeah, yeah. I thought so! You messed up my man Rodney pretty good last week and I'm here to return the favor."
The teen began walking towards Kevin, almost stomping his feet to seem more intimidating. He raised his fist to strike Kevin, but found himself with a huge fist in his stomach. He did not even see Kevin duck to the side and plant a hard punch into his gut. The teen was stunned for a second, his breath having been knocked out of him. Before he could recover, Kevin stepped toward and struck the teen in the back of the head with his elbow. The teen crashed onto the ground, aching in pain, as Kevin continued his lonely walk down the alley.

Ed laughed as she splashed him. "I'm going to take that as a yes." He said to her laying on his back in the water floating.

She glared at him. The key pin fell out of her hair, and her the orangy locks tumbled downwards. She cursed lightly, sticking the pins back in decoratively.

"You don't like your hair down?" Ed asked confused. "I thought it looked better that way but if you don't like it that's cool." He said to her still laying on his back.

Kimiko got up and played with her brother again, then sat back down a pretended like she was dying from exhaustion. Yuki didn't buy it one bit.

"Um you're a little red are you burnt? If so I got some suntan lotion in the car." Ed said. He's a little slow at figuring out if someone liked him or not.
