Yakov was strolling down the street simultaneously trying to wrap his mind around what just happened and trying not to think about it. As he passed by a truck, he noticed that someone was sleeping inside. It was him. Yakov growled and then slammed his fists against the window.

Curtis stepped back, chuckling once again. Younger beasts were an interesting lot. Amusing and charming. Much different from the peers he'd had when growing up. The peers who had all aged and died while he remained frozen in time. Frozen by the Nazis. The ones who considered him a monster but were themselves far more savage and barbaric than he ever would be. He shook his head. This was not the time for sappy memories.

"Nein, I do not eat sentient beings," he told Aurora with a smile. "Well, not anymore," he added in thought. "But one could hardly consider those men 'beings'." His stomach growled. "But we should find something before the sun rises fully."

"What the hell?!" Connor grunted, expecting another cop. He blinked when a young, college-age looking man was seen through the fog of his passenger window. "What do you want?" he snapped. Would he ever sleep that night?

Kat stood up and slowly walked around waiting for Aurora. "Well, I don't exactly eat when I'm out here. I kind of...ah...can't eat, well I can't digest...er...meat." Kat felt very ashamed having to admit to being a werewolf who couldn't eat meat. She began pacing nervously. She wasn't sure how they would react to it.

"I must confess the same," Curtis agreed. He smiled at Katra. "If you want to return to retreive your clothing, the key is under a fake rock at the base of the tree we met at. You may go into my office as long as you return it." He paused. "That is, if you don't want to watch me hunt. I can understand if you don't." He left Katra to her own decision and turned back to Aurora. "Perhaps we shall see you again?" And then he was off, hoping to at least snag a few squirrels before day broke completely.

It took Connor's groggy mind a moment to catch up to the fact that this man had just torn the door clean off his truck. Werewolf. Another bloody werewolf. And one with a pissed big-brother agenda. Luka's brother, no doubt.

"None o' yer bloody business, you murderous git," he grumbled, struggling. Of course, he was writing a few inches of the ground and was no match for this man's grip. He gave up on clawing at the strong hands holding him and let his hand dart into his jacket, quickly finding the butt of his gun. Connor grinned. Finally, it was his turn to have the advantage. He pointed the barrel at his attacker's head.

"I'd be for putting me down now."

Yakov's eyes widened. He had asumed that without his dagger this guy would be weaponless. Actually, he hadn't assumed or actually thought about anything, but it sounded better his way. He stared at gun completely shocked. What shocked him more was the voice he suddenly heard.

"Will both of you put your respective objects down?" Luka had woken up startled. She didn't exactly know what had woken her, but then she remembered that she had just let her brother go and that he was highly likely to do something stupid. She ran off after him, following the scent that she had grown up with. Needless to say, when she found him and Connor trying to kill each other she was rather pissed.

"He has to fir-" Connor didn't finish the thought as the arrival of a newcomer caught his attention. This one was a wolf - a fact made doubtless by the fact that she was in her true form. "This town's bloody over-run..." he breathed. He could have easily turned his gun onto the newcomer, but he had a better chance of hitting his most immediate threat.

Kat looked from one guy to the other and than at the woman. She suddenly recognized her from the cafeteria. But then she heard the words shoot and she certainly smelt the lovely stench of guns. She saw the gun in the mans hand and freaked. She groweled and her brain switched to fight of flight. She stepped towards them and her growl became lower. But then she saw the girls hand was on the gun too and she backed up quickly and started to run away towards the buiding. She grabbed the fake rock and ran inside the building.

Connor sighed and lowered the gun. For some reason, he believe Luka's castration threat. But he didn't let go. He would never let go. He'd lost enough weapons that night.

"You know I have to kill one of you sooner or later," he pointed out gruffly. "Well, the mayor would prefer more than that."
