Niro watched as Gon left out through the castle gates. Darn, there goes my only friend in this place. He turn back around only to see five solders stairing him down. All with a devious smirk on their faces. "I got small fry", "Hey, you got the rookie last time", "I saw him first". Ultimately they played a quick game of rock-paper-scissors to see who get the shrimp. This ain't fair, don't I get a say in the matter?! Finally one of them won, A big brolly guy reaching about 6'5. Almost a foot taller them Niro. He staired at him blankly. They can't be serious! This guy looks like he can eat me! The knight put up his fist, "Ok runt, try not to cry too much after your beating." Niro figured there was no running from this. He bent down into a horse stance, put up his hand as if they were claws. "Hey, don't underestimate the little guy."

Jewlet hear something and feeling something she didn't like. She turned around and saw Niro being picked on. She put her order aside and walked over to the group. "What is going on over here?" She asked. She looked at all the bigger guys with her blank eyes. "Don't you have orders?" She said remembering what Grant said. She waited quietly, whiched seemed to thicken the air making it harder to breathe.

One of the Knight turn to here, "Yeah, we're fallowing orders. We just wanted to see who among us will fight him." Though, of course, this wasn't a good excuse. But before anymore could argue farther, Niro spooked up. "No worry ma-lady. To be a knight, you must be ready for anything." With that said he gave Jewlet a quick wink. He turn back to the bigger knight, "I'm ready, lets go".

Jewlet frowned at such a excuse. She looked at Niro and realized what he mite do. She shook her head and backed up. "Ok, then let me see." She said watching them. Her arms crossed. Keeping in mind she still had to go get the food. She nodded her head one time. In her mind she was cheering Niro on with her inner child.

Enjoying the sun, Amanae leaned against the stone wall that ringed the upper courtyard, her eyes playing over the formation of knights absently. I could beat him, she thought, smirking, And him, and him, and--The smile dropped from her face as she noticed the green-haired boy who had greeted her so happily earlier talking to several much taller, stronger-looking knights; one of them in particular looked more like a bear than a person. They was smiling, but not pleasantly, and there was a harsh gleam in their eyes. Her pale eyebrows shot down to sit severely just above her own harshly gleaming eyes, but she wasn't foolish enough to attempt any intervention; it would only get her in trouble, and likely put the boy into an even more uncomfortable position.

The huge knight lunged himself toward Niro with his fist up high. He came down for a swing, but hit nothing but air. "What?" The big guy look up to his eye level to find Niro in a crouch position in the air. With a smirk expression, Niro did a back flip kick to the guys chin. The huge guy landed flat on his back, shock beyond belief. The other Knight looked over at them in mid fight. Wondering what exactly just happen. By now, Niro had landed gracefully on his left foot and looked over at the knight with a look of innocents. "What's wrong buddy, lost your balance?"

Laughter bubbled up out of Amanae's throat before she could even process what had happened; it sounded incredibly loud in the shocked silence that followed the boy's mock-innocent query. She clamped her mouth shut on the sound, and then covered it with her hand for good measure. The Bear on the ground was staring up at the slight little creature that had somehow managed to knock him down, and the look on his face almost made her control dissolve all over again.

"Try not to call me boy again, just use sir or whatever you think is proper."
Dirt Bloods -as primitive as they were- served a nice purpose when it came to certain things and Grant seemed like the useful type. Alexander took a quick look around and used his magic for a brief moment to pull the cup of water towards him then grabbing it. Alexander didn't like touching others and it was sort of an award for Grant's help.
"Consider that a freebie and thank you for the water."
Alexander placed the cup back on the table after it was emptied. It seemed something was going with the Knights; they seemed to be picking on the elf and the elf seemed to be winning. Tou Knights were more civilized then what Alexander was seeing and made the Dirt Bloods seem even dirtier then usual. Through his time serving the castle royalty as entertainment, he expected nothing less outside of the royalty.
"It seems your Knights need to learn a lesson in manners. Name's Alexander, your name is Grant I believe?"
Alexander used his levitation to place another cup into the barrel and receive more water for himself. Since everything was so chaotic right now, Alexander assumed no one would pay attention if he used his magic to get another drink. It wasn't another freebie for Grant, it was for Alexander.

'I have to get out of here,' Prince Cyrith thought as he walked with a false calm down the royal hall, a body guard on either side of him. Word had come that the Princess had at last arrived at the castle, and the last thing he wanted was to meet the fat pig that his father had undoubtedly chosen. With any luck, he could avoid her entirely until the day she chose one of his brothers to wed, but there was little chance of that happening as long as he remained on castle grounds.
As the three approached the front gates, both Guards held their arms crossed in front of the noble, "Your Highness, we are under strict orders not to allow you to go any farther."
Cyrith sighed as he noticed a nearby pair of guards turning to stare at the scene, making sure to gaze directly into their eyes, and then those of his guards, "Of course, I would not want you to brake orders, and so by all means, take care of Prince Cyrith." Placing a nearby potted fern where he once stood, the prince walked away, his spell safely in place. Unfortunately for him, he was unaware that after eleven years, the guards had begun get wise to his tricks, and were currently under strict orders to report any sightings of him, no matter how innocent.
Of course, the Prince did not know of this, and so he grabbed his hidden bag of clothes from beneath a royal hedge and walked straight into the surrounding town.

Jewlet watched carefully. "Well. It has seem that you need to rethink. Good-day." She bowed and headed for the kitchen. She cleared her head of thoughts making sure she could keep herself at the task she had been asked to do. She lifted part of her skirt up as she walked up the stairs. Her mind keep count of how many steps she stepped on as she went up. She then made her wall down the hall and two the kitchen. "A lunch for, Sir Grant." She told the cook. She took a seat out in the mess hall and waited. More people came in. She sttood up as the cook motioned for her. "Thank you." She bowed and went on her way.

Changed into a plain blue tunic, that was admittedly clearer then most, the prince emerged from his secret changing place in an abandoned shed one the west side of town, managing to arrive unnoticed thanks to his own manipulative abilities. As Cyrith walked along the cobblestoned, he carefully tied back his chin length brown hair, leaving long bangs to frame his face.
Now on the crowd, the Prince confidently made his way to a nearby pub which he frequented often, as well as many of the town's fine ladies. Upon arrival, Cyrith received many a friendly hello, some of which he returned. As he pulled up a bar stool and prepared to scoped out the day's women, the young man was approached by another from the other side of the counter, "So Cy, what can I do ya for?"
"Just the regular Pat," the Prince responded to the human bartender a moment before spotting a gorgeous blond elf a few stools over, "And how 'bout one for the lady?"

Grant, with his mouth closed, ran his tongue down his teeth and made a face that was, well, unamused. Grant, though very well taught in the ways of manners felt good manners are best used on the humble but seeing as he was below some he used them when needed. "Heh, yup. Grants the name Alex and my men are just giving a good haze to a new recruit. You see a good solder is one that's willing to die for the man next to him. These sort of things, though unrefined help unify a group. Once he finds his place in the group they all will be best buds and ready to rely on each other in times when manners are the least of your worries." Grant removed his had and crossed his right leg behind his left as he elegantly bowed with over exuberance. "Good day Alexander, O mighty minstrel. Heh." With that Grant stood up and gently situated his hat on back on his head before walking over to his men. "Hey, hey. fun's over now. Brutus." Grant said as the brawny man on the ground quickly got to his feet and replied "Yes sir." wile standing at perfect attention. "I think you got a little something on you. Maybe you should go clean up your little mess." Grant chuckles as a serious face emerged from his chuckle. "Attention!!!" Grant shouted. The men quickly fell into formation leaving a spot in the middle of the pack where Brutus once stood. Grant looked down at Niro. "I believe there's a spot over there that need to be filled." Grant said with a smirk that quickly faded.

By now, Niro had finally let his right leg rest on the the ground. He moved to the side to let the brolly guy stumble pass. Man, that guy felt like a rock. Grants bellowing nearly made him jump out of his skin. I don't think I'll ever get use to that. As the knights got into formation, Niro notice that open gap in the line. Before he had a chance to question this Grant motion him to stand in line. He looked at Grant and then at the opened space. "For real?" Still astonished by it all, he decided not to look a gifted horse in the mouth. He walked over to the spot and stood in attention. Well, as best as he could anyway.

Alexander wasn't pleased with Grant mocking him, but he had come to expect it every time he acted like himself. All Tou were royalty pure blood or not, but that was just Alexander's belief because he wasn't a pure blooded Tou. Alexander wanted to not start off on the wrong foot with Grant and at the same time not lie to him by acting like someone he wasn't. Seeing Grant's leadership did impress Alexander and that maybe was something worth mentioning. Alexander walked forth and stood beside Grant, trying his best not to seem rude like usual.
"You command of the others is impressive Grant; leadership skills are not something I see too often done right. Maybe I was a bit rude and I'm-"
Alexander had to struggle a bit for the next word to say since Tou both never apologized and Alexander was trying to mean the apology, not lie. Grant had potential to be a very resourceful friend if the time arisen and making him an enemy was not what Alexander wanted.
"...Sorry. I try my best o keep my manners, I sometimes forget what rank I have in society and treat others with disrespect so I can at least feel like I'm important. Now, let’s start over maybe?"
Grant couldn't refuse Alexander’s apology in front of his own men or if he did it might actually ruin Alexander in the eyes of his men and Alexander didn't want to be viewed that way by so many people. On the other hand, Grant would seem rude in front of his own men at the same time, so it was both an advantage and a disadvantage.
