Kale laughed and nodded, "I know you did!" She called back towards him. Despite being hit, she was feeling energetic, and powered. She liked this way of teaching, learning as you go, rather than copying the teacher, and mimicking their actions. Shuraiya was out of the tree and racing after her again. She glanced around a moment, deciding the best course of action. A boulder, not huge, but not tiny either, was in the path right ahead of her. She laughed slightly, and when she was just about there, flipped forward. Shuraiya, being right behind her was right in the path of her flying legs. He got knock backwards, as Kale landed gracefully in front of the rock. "Nyah!" She winked, it was obviously a tease to the other. He laughed, pleased and took off after her again.

It didn't take long for Shuraiya to catch up to Kale, leaping on her; just before she could dodge out of the way. She yelped in surprise not realizing how close he had been. Kale laughed, out of breath; but happy. "Well, what do you think?" She questioned him. Shuraiya looked over her, and nodded his head. "You've got Swift Style down. You need to work on your elegance a tiny bit, but the flips in there were elegant enough for me." He told her, with a nod. "I think my work here is done." He told her, holding out his hand, polietly. Kale laughed, and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. "Thanks!" She said happily, as he lightly pushed her away. "See you around, Kale." He told her, waving. He turned and left. Kale laughed excitedly and rushed away from the village. Back to the docks. She needed another round of a nap.

What others could he study, though? Let's see... there was brief mention in a few histories about a Spring Spring fruit that allowed its user to bounce around, but something like that was amazingly limited, confined to being powerful mostly in towns and cities, rather than anywhere specific that it might be necessary. In other words, it just wasn't a strong power. The strongest powers were the ones that would serve you well in any situation, and he needed one of those.

Much, much weirder was the Nora Nora Fruit, which actually had fairly solid records in terms on how much anyone knew about it. One user had created some sort of game for it, or just modified what was already there, and the end result was that he had done surprisingly well for himself for some time. Being able to slow your enemies was an extremely useful power if you used it right, and Rednal didn't think its old user had been as creative with it as he could have.

Another bizzare one was some sort of soapy fruit that let one create bubbles. Some sort of weird Paramecia that denied the user the ability to turn into bubbles, but instead just create them. That ability was definitely very far from his style... he needed something a little more universally powerful, and something that people wouldn't laugh at. Being able to blow bubbles at people from the position he wanted was not a good way to go about doing things.

More fun was the mention of a Voice-based beam that apparently allowed one to create shockwaves of sound. That wasn't so great as a primary power, but if people had been able to eat two Cursed Fruits at the same time, it wouldn't have been a bad secondary power to back up something from the Logia class. He wouldn't be eating that particular one, but a pirate crew or the Marines might find it good for sinking ships with. Voice beams were good at that.

A relatively useful Paamecia the records showed was a Rock Rock fruit, something that made the user's body rock-hard and capable of heating up. The problem with rocks, however, was that they were strong but kind of brittle. They could take some pummeling, but they might shatter if struck too hard, and that could be hugely problematic for people. No, that was an interesting power to observe, but another one he didn't really need to think about eating.

There was the Beri Beri Fruit... which sounded like it ought to generate infinite money for the user but didn't. Apparently, it was almost Logia-class despite being Paramecia, since the user could form their body into spheres somehow. Rednal wasn't totally sure how that worked (well, he wasn't totally sure how ANY Cursed Fruit worked, come to think of it), but it sounded like a weird power. Despite that, it was probably quite dangerous, and something he'd have to watch out for.

A very fun secondary power would have been the Suke Suke fruit, which by all accounts made one invisible at will. That was even better than the face-changing Fruit for sneaking into places, and helped immensely if you wanted to be able to avoid capture. It took a very tricky person to be able to catch somebody who was invisible, and to be honest, if one was strong enough in other areas they could eat just that Fruit and do extremely well for themselves.

It was never a good idea to underestimate even the simplest Cursed Fruit powers, a lesson that some people had to learn the hard way. Rednal finished up with his kicking sequence, feeling relatively confident by now about his ability. He was slowly getting stronger, and that was a very good thing indeed. It seemed like he had spent enough time in the North Blue, however, so with a bit of a shrug Rednal began heading towards the Port so he could go somewhere else.

Kale took a breath, and looked around the familiar place; Macron Village. She was waiting on her custom weapon and decided to get some training in, with a huge brute she'd heard about. It wasn't hard to find him. "You sir!" She called to the large man who turned to look at her. He eyed the girl with disdain. "What, girl? Come to ask for some loving?" General Hot Dog yelled to her. She cringed and smiled again, "Actually no; I was here to learn from you!" She put her hands on her hips. "Apparently," She began, "You've got the world strongest kick!" She called. She could feel the ground shake tiny bits, as he walked towards her; though something in her voice said she didn't believe this 'worlds strongest thing' for a moment.

"Well watch closely, girl." He told her seriously. "If you want to learn this it's going to take will power, determination, and fearlessness." He bellowed. Kale looked over the man, and smiled bright. "Alright!" She with a nod, pushing past the mans frightening demeanor. "Let's do it!" She called excitedly. He looked to her and took in a deep breath. "Watch me little one, it's going to be hard to mimic this move!" He told her seriously. Kale nodded her head, as the large man took stance and kicked outwardly; Kale guessed to about chest, maybe; mid-chest. "You catch all that sweet cakes?" He questioned her. She had to be honest inwardly, that; his kick didn't look nearly as hard as learning Lethal Kick.

Kale nodded her head, "Yes sir!" She said seriously, "I think I've got it." She told him. She copied his stance, which was almost awkward for her size, but with a "Ha!" She shot her leg out, mid-chest height and held it there. There wasn't anything particularly special about this kick, she noted. It was just like a normal one; something she may have been able to learn on her own, but whatever. She was here, and he was teaching her. She'd deal. She was still holding the kick pose, as she looked over at him. "Good?" She questioned; to which she got her response by his mouth being open. "Uh, yeah, but there is more to go, girl!" He told her anger apparent in his voice.

He was angry, how dare some insolent girl come to him; and try and show him up. Well he'd teach her a thing or two. Kale watched him as he prepared his stance again. Kale straightened up, and looked towards him, brushing herself off. The man took a run and flying leap; kicking outwardly, depending on the height of the person; Kale noticed that the attack would knock someone in the head. It made her want to laugh at how silly this large man looked taking a running leap and kicking like that; but she didn't, she was polite, she just smiled and imagined in her mind herself laughing at him. She covered her mouth a small chuckle escaped but luckily he didn't hear it, or if he did; he ignored it.

She braced herself, as the man fell out of the air; landing the ground shook again, and Kale bounced slightly. She giggled outwardly and he turned on her angerly, "What's so funny girl?!" He bellowed and her eyes widened. "Nothing at all. That was just soooo amazing!" She said, feigning real interest. He puffed out. "Very good." He told her simply, "I will show you once more, and then you will try it." He told her; his tone brooking no arguments about the situation at all. Kale nodded her head, "Sure!" She told him. She was finally getting her giggling fit under control, only a last few squeaked past and then she was ready.
