Finn looked over his shoulder to see the new guy walk in. His smile faltered a little when he saw the scar on the guy's face. Well.. It wasn't exactly.. Un-noticable.
Finn tried to ignore it and waved him over "Hey, welcome newbie! Have a seat. I'm new here too" he said. Although the scars and the muscles made him look like he should be a club bouncer, Finn didn't want him to feel un-welcome or uncomfortable. Especially after experiencing it for himself.

(I see that you decided to omit the fact that he's got a sword at his hip.)
Mark nodded and walked over to the guy who acknowledged him. His free hand went to the rapier at his hip. "I'm not exactly new, just a transfer." the young man said with a distince brooklyn accent. He dropped his gunne-sac on the floor and showed his sixth former logo on his black shirt. He noticed that the young man had paid attention to the scars on his face. Unfortunately he was particularly offended because he didn't want people to know how he got them or why he was sensative about the knitted bits of flesh on the corners of his lips.

[[Gah.. Sorry. I knew i'd forgotten something. I had a lapse of concentration. I'm starting to get an idea for my Art. That's probably why ^^]]
Finn looked away from the guy's face, noticing how the man seemed to frown slightly at Finn's questioning gaze. "Transfer? Wow. Where from?" Finn asked, trying to keep the subject light. He saw the blade on the guy's hip. The appearance seemed to all match up now, in Finn's mind. Of course he's all muscley. He can use a fricken sword!
He nodded at his hip and asked "So.. You fence?", forgetting that he hadn't allowed him to answer his first question.

(Yes because I had him have the sword to distract from his scars.)
Marucs sat down and adjusted his blade so the sheath now rested on his thighs. "I dabble in the art of swordsmanship." he said giving a small smile which almost seemed to hurt the young man. Then he absentmindedly stroked the curved scar on the left side of his face before pointing out "I'm from New York, but since then I was in rome, paris and london." In truth the young mans temper had caused him to be shipped from house of nignt to another. "I'm Mark Davis by the way."

"So, you've been to a few places then, huh." Finn said. Almost forgetting his manners, he added "Oh, nice to meet you Mark. My name is Finn Johnson. I got marked a few days ago."

Mark nodded and smiled grimacingly again. "Congradulations Finn, welcome to the group." The young man gingerly touched his scar again and then dropped his hand to his blade. "Then I wouldn't expect you to recognize my name, to everyone thats been a fledgling for a while my name normallly is pretty well known."

"Heh.. Thanks" Finn muttered. Wow.. A famous fencer. He thought to himself. His eyes strayed back to the tv. He couldn't really name what was on, something about tattoos. Miami Ink, probably. He started to admire the way that the shading was done in an eagle that this large bloke wanted on the back of his shoulders.
Finn was subconciously fiddling with his phone as he watched the screen.

Mark chuckled and then looked at the celing "I wouldn't say famous, I am just ranked forth among the fencers in world." he said then began rummaging through his gunne-sack and found a whetstone, he drew out his blade soundlessly and then the only sound that was her was the scraping of stone against metal. "You expecting a phone call?" he asked as he examined the blade.

Finn looked up from the screen back to Mark. Then, realised that he had been fiddling with his phone, his cheeks flushed quickly and he scratched his head awkwardly, saying "Hm.. I wish."

Ryuu stops staing off into space and listens to their conversations. He really had no idea what to say so he just sat there calmly.

"Yeah.. I know that only too well. But no, i wasn't expecting a call from a human." Finn said, looking dispairingly at the floor.
He looked up when he heard the blades though and he stared in amazement as the slices of apple fell onto the table. If his jaw could've fallen to the floor, it would've.
Without looking at Rithik, he said to him "Sucks to be you" with a little smirk on his face. He meant it jokingly.

"Well if your waiting for a friend or someone to call you, why don't you go find him or her." he said simply as he picked up one of the apple halves and took a bite. "I wouldn't want to wait around and feel hlepless but I have no choice since nobody have told what number my dorm room is." The sixth former undid the belt that had his rapier to his hip and relaced on the couch. "If I dont find out soon, I am going to sleep on the couch. (Hint.....hint, vice captain and captain.)

Finn sighed "Nahh.. She doesn't want to hear from me" he muttered.
He looked up at him and said in a brighter tone "Pfft.. I'm sure they've got your room somewhere round here man. I'd show you myself but i haven't ventured into the dorms yet.."
