Personality of Basket: Playful and happy go lucky with the off chance of being shy around those he or she doesn't know. Would have a fascination with the water and be like a Labrador in the sense that the foal can't get near water without getting in it and when she/he does it's hard as hell to get him/her out of it.

Staying with father:
Are you my mother?- Foal wanders off in search of it's mother only to bump into a little play mate. (male or female) a friendship is struck up and bonds are made. spend time wandering around with companion looking for it's mother asking just about every mare out there maybe even attaching him/her self to one mare (not it's relative) in particular as a mother figure.

Staying with Mother:
Never knew my daddy-
(Female) Having a daddy complex, she grows up craving male attention. Seeking out a means to fill the male role model void she goes through a series of ups and downs making both good and bad choices. (will need several to help this plot blossom)

(Male) Having never known his own father he has a fear of people leaving him and winds up a complete momma's boy seeking approval from other stallions he encounters. His attachment to his mother and shy encounters may make it hard for him in the future to find a mate or any love interests.

Personality of Basket: Soft Spoken/Gentlemanly
Any Future Plots?: She/he would see the sadness in their mother at being apart from their father, so I would only accept a lifemate for them.

With the help of one of it's parents, I would enjoy Rping/plotting with them to give the foal a good foalhood. I wouldn't want nothing too negative for it though. Probably some sadness at not having both parents to live with at once.

The foal will have a beautiful singing voice, like it's mother, and would enjoy sharing it's talent with those who it's close to. He/she would have gotten some of their father's selfishness.

That is all that I have in mind for the moment. I do tend to make plots up based on the Soquili's appearance. (I don't know why, it's just easier to picture them doing certain things that way)
Why you want this basket: Both of it's parents are beautiful. I'm a big fan of Kelpies, and am happy to see more coming into the shop through their breeding. I enjoy the potential of back story with the relationship that the parents shared, and would love to tie that into the foal's life.
Will you hang around the shop?: I'm usually there lurking. But I do post from time to time.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: YES. Both of the foals that I have owned so far, received growing up rps/plots. I try to get all of my Soquili Rp. At the very least, the Soquili will be heavily plotted for.
Do you like the color blue?: Yes. Blue and white go wonderfully together. <3

Name of Basket: [F] Elaine, [M] Elliot
Personality of Basket: Zealous :: The foal will start off pretty innocent and that innocence will develop into a healthy appreciation for life and all it encompasses. He/she will never take the sunrise for granted and will always try to make the best of things, with few exceptions (always room for some drama, heh).
Any Future Plots?:
1) Something's Missing: - He/she has always had a feeling that something was missing from life. He/she was often lonely growing up, preferring to stay by their father's side and take in his aquatic life. Though they cannot follow him too far into the water, they are an excellent swimmer. One day he/she meets an aquatic animal of some sort and makes friends with it. (Acquires a familiar...probably an otter?)

1b) - Previous plot is probably in the middle between foal and adult, whereas this will be adult - He/she meets up with a sibling accidentally, it'll go from there. C: (Dunno if you plan on having them all meet again or not.)

2) Where Do Babies Come From? - A few months after Leilla drops her/him off, he/she has mostly forgotten that he/she has any family other than his/her father, so starts wondering where he/she came from. Probably not a full blown rp, but a nice little story/blurb to add to his/her background. Might also be fun to write Mareo's reaction. ^^

2b) - Assuming you intend to have Mareo have another fling, the foal can start calling the mare 'mommy' or something of the sort and depending on the mare's personality she can either be flattered or get totally offended...possibly a deal breaker if you are looking to have a romance with no breeding.

2c) - Kinda an alternate to b, or perhaps and addition: Foal can start to ask where mother/siblings are, or perhaps (depending on when Leilla leaves the foal with Mareo), has a hard time being without its mother and siblings for the first bit of time it spends with its father.

That's about all I got atm. I'm sure I'll think of more though~ ^^
Why you want this basket: The parents are gorgeous, I think the plots could be tons of fun, and I love the shade of blue! <3

Number of Soquili you own: Seven, although one is a basket from May of 2009 that never popped. Two are co-owned, and I have no RP rights at all to one of them. Teepee, if you're curious.
Name of Basket: Tatiana (female), Sigurd (male); for the sake of the prompts and such, I'm going to play the basket as a female, but I believe that the personality and plots are entirely transferable to the opposite gender.
Personality of Basket: Very blunt, often to the point of coming off as rude or uncouth, but honestly just uncomfortable with the thought of lying and needing to back it up by remembering the fabrication later. Tatiana tends to analyze things at length before she jumps to any conclusions, which can make her seem slow to speak and think. Once she's reached a satisfying stance, however, she'll stick with it to the end, and as such, is hard to convince of fairytale ideas that have no basis in real life. She wants evidence, truth, and if it cannot be provided, then she has no reason to believe. Unusually, she is fond of her mother's lullabies, but she appreciates old sea tunes the best, and despite being a bit of a pragmatist, she isn't lacking in imagination. Krakens and spirits are fun to consider, but obviously not real. As far as her mother's occasional childishness in that area goes, Tatiana is indulgent through silence and uncomfortable smiles. (In this scenario, she would be living with Liella, rather than Mareo, at least for the first few months of her foalhood).
Any Future Plots?: A few. One idea I had might be that, since there are three siblings in the current clan, Tatiana could feel somewhat isolated and caught-between parents. She loves her mother unconditionally, but the prospect of having a father out there intrigues her. As a result, she might try to take "logical" steps to reunite her family to prevent having to choose one life or the other. The fallout from this would be especially character-building, because it explores the situation of being wrong even when everything she does and says is right - when it could lead to a happier, more desirable ending. There is no solution. There is no going back and fixing what was broken before her birth. That will be a hard hurdle to overcome.
Another plot is going to have to be her learning that the practical view isn't always accurate, and stuff like magic and spirits and all the tales her mother told her aren't just made up for the benefit of foals. This would be a really long-term plot, and might end with her being in denial, or learning to accept the duality of her world.
Why you want this basket: I like the dynamic of this family, and all of the potential lore and difficulties that can be mined from it. The dryad meets the sea snake, they part ways, but their encounter leaves the seeds of another story to grow and flourish. To me, it feels like their children will always be caught between the glade and the ocean, no matter what they try. Assuming the parents never get back together, they'll have to travel a ways to see each half of themselves as well. Tatiana is of particular interest to me because she loves and wants and believes, but that might not ultimately make anything happen.
Will you hang around the shop?: Yes. That's where I spend a lot of my Gaian time, actually.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: Definitely. I'd like to explore the niches of this personality I'm playing with, and see how much Tatiana grows as she goes on.

Name of Basket: Female-Darya, Male-Taylan
Personality of Basket: (For the sake of my brain I wrote the personality and future plots as the foal was female, but not too specific as I can easily change it around to being male.)
Calm, collective and quiet are dominate parts of herself that most others would see first when they met Darya. But deeper down and the better you get to know her that she was a burst of emotions, like you would see deep in a forest to the naked eye calm and serine. But to look deeper and closer into that forest you would see lots of activity happening giving its own voice to the forest, very much like Darya’s own emotions as she feels that she has a deep connection to the forest to were she was born. For she believe that there is magic all around and in every living thing that ties everyone to everything in the world. The one thing that she loves is to hear stories of far off places and of folktales and legends from all around the world, as they fascinate her so much that she has been known to pester her mother to tell her stories that she knows even if Darya has heard them before. In the deepest part of herself there is a deep longing of the ocean to were her father comes from a longing that makes her sad for only a second as she as others that care for her here, but will travel to see the Ocean when her longing pull her to do such things. She loves water and will watch it for long time or listen to it when its raining as any form of water reminds her of her father. It takes her a long time to get angry with anyone, but once she has gotten to that point is just not a simple anger is so hateful and full of fury, like that of a raging storm at sea. Nothing short of letting her fury run its course or her being shocked out of her rage will make her stop and she becomes herself again if nothing had happened in the first place.
Any Future Plots?:
An unplanned trip to the ocean. – Not understanding to why she keeps dreaming so much about the ocean and to why she keeps on constantly thinking of the ocean. Not knowing if is because she wants to see her father or if the ocean just keeps on calling to her wanting for her to be closer and to enjoy all of what it has to offer her. But one day she gets up and starts to walk in the direction of where the ocean is and maybe her sibling follows her to where on there travels they meet others along the way and when they reach there destination.

To hear all types of stories. – Darya is so very interested in all types of stories that she travels around finding others that are willing to tell her stories about there own travels or even better yet if they have any folktales or legends that they could tell to her.

Finding someone like me – Darya has always wondered if there were others that had a pull or longing for the ocean or any other body of water or any type of longing. So she wanders around the lakes and rivers around her home to see if there are others like her or if they have at least similar longings for other things.

Fury like the Ocean. – Discovering that once she gets angered all fury is let lose and everything that she would normal hold back are said and done. But once she calms down she is very scared of herself and worries that she just might one day never return to herself but stay her stormy self. So he runs to hide to protect those she loves from herself as she doesn’t want to hurt those she loves. She runs into someone that could help her cope with how she feels about her stormy self and to better cope with it as well as to her once released it has to all come out before its done and to sooth her fear that she might say something that she really didn't mean when she was in that state.

What is Daddy like? – Darya asks to how her mother met her father, to know what he looks like and to how is personality it. As she is very interested and wants to know as one day she would love to meet him and get to know him as well as she love the both of her parents even though they don’t live together. But she just wants her mother perspective of him.

Why you want this basket: I love the family dynamics and how there could be lots of plotting for the family and the parents are absolutely gorgeous! But I will confess that I do like Marco as he is done up like one of my favorite pokemon and Liella is so beautiful and done in one of my favorite hues of teal that mixes so well with black and white.

Asha/Azrael was a loving and loveable child, s/he was raised a complete innocent and wanted nothing more than to venture out of her/his mother's home to seek out adventure, her/his father, and to explore the beautiful Utopia s/he imagined from her/his mother's fantastical tales told every night before s/he drifted off to sleep. But there was a seed of darkness, denied throughout his/her childhood that would begin to flourish as Asha/Azrael blossomed into adulthood. A taste for the shadow, for the depraved, that would ultimately cause him/her to alienate her/himself from the rest of her/his family for the majority if his/her adolescence and early adulthood.


As an adult, Asha/Azrael looks at the world as an art critic might view a painting in a museum: pretty, yes, but hardly useful and filled with flaws. Its an intangible thing to her/him, merely another rest stop on the way to that lovely, restful thing known as death. S/he tends to be fickle in her loyalties, often flitting back and forth between one person or idea and another. The only thing that is final in Asha/Azrael's life and opinion is the end of that life. All things die, for that is how the world works. It is the only thing s/he believes in and trusts. That isn’t to say s/he rushes toward it or forces others into it; actually, s/he believes the idea of death to be wasted if we haven’t been through the hell of life yet. To her/him, death isn’t a bleak and dismal inevitability—it is a release. And no release can be truly appreciated if we haven’t faced hardship and difficulty on the way toward receiving it. S/he is one of those strange soquili who truly cannot be classified as either good or evil. S/he sits on the fence, directly centered in that mysterious gray area. Although s/he doesn’t have any sort of “live life to the fullest” idealism, s/he doesn’t see the point of simply floating through life listlessly. If s/he is going to experience this step on the way to eventual death, s/he wants to truly feel it. This want and need drives her/him to aesthetics. However, s/he also enjoys experiencing the grim and horrifying. S/he can find equal beauty in a sunset and slaughter, show appreciation for both the ocean and a drowning victim, or express simultaneous joy at a birth and a grisly death. And always with a disturbingly acceptance that many find too macabre to bear.

Asha/Azrael has always been the strong silent type. S/he has a hard time growing attached to anyone or letting her/himself get too close to others. S/he socializes when the time calls for it, but s/he often seems distant and uncaring. Cold, some would call her/him, heartless even. Others would say s/he is just a bit shy. A strange soquili indeed. S/he is sadistic and seductive, a soquili who would toy with anothers heart should s/he have the chance. Asha/Azrael cuts a dark and mysterious figure to say the least, Her/his cynical nature and morbid sense of humor often driving others away rather than attracting them.

Any Future Plots?:
I'd have to shell out some more detailed plots later, I have a lot of starting ideas that...

Well If I do get the basket I would like her/him to stay with his/her mother so there will be an eventual plot where Asha/Azrael will go search for his/her father, most likely in adulthood.

Roleplay to cement the relationship the foal will have with his/her siblings and mother. I would like him/her to meet a friend who would be a 'bad influence' recognizing Asha/Azrael's darkness and drawing him/her away from his/her family. This will be a love/hate relationship that could possible turn into a romance in adulthood.

Just a couple ideas :]
Why you want this basket: Well of course Liella, and Mareo are both amazing so thats a big factor, but after I read their back story and started developing the personality of this soquili I am super excited for the roleplaying possibilities!
Will you hang around the shop?: I do hang out around the shop, and I will probably be around even more often with another soquili to roleplay.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: Yes! I have put a lot of thought into the character I want to develop and my ultimate goal would be to have him/her become an elder. Which means lots of roleplay, all the time.
