Angry snarls could be heard from somewhere behind the duo as a group 8 of half-naked goblin slaves rushed towards them, their pick-axes held high over their heads. Behind them, stood 5 commoner goblins, who wielded crude slings with fist sized rocks loaded and ready to fire. The slaves split up, 4 headed towards Azrael, and 4 headed towards Katsuro. The commoners focused fired at Katsuro, releasing their rocks with dangerous force.

Shadows of Fear sweep across the soul.....

"S, what on earth are you doing here? Unholy Shroud!" Azrael channeled a burst of dark energy into Retribution as he swung it in a low arc horizontally to intercept the slaves that were rushing at him. He timed the swing so that even if the goblin slaves jumped backwards, at least the first one would remain within the tremendous sword's range. He saw out of the corner of his eye the commoners focusing their attack on Katsuro, and understood why - unless they got in a lucky shot at his face, there was no way for them to damage him with simple thrown stones through his armor.

The goblin and S crashed to the ground after his unexpected sneak attack. The next closest commoner grabbed a large rock, loaded it into the sling and tried to swing it at S's head as though it were a crude flail, while the goblin that was under him tried to claw and bite it's way to freedom.

The goblin slaves that had rushed Azrael now had their forces divided in half, as two of the poor beasts were too weak to dodge the vicious assault. The others were just fast enough to dodge just out of range. On instincts alone, one of the slaves lobbed it's pick-axe at Azrael's head then dived for one of the fallen creature's weapon. The other dived forward to try and jam the head of the pick-axe just below Azrael's knee.

The group of slaves that attacked Katsuro were torn to shreds by the Lycan's claw. The 3 other commoners had watched carefully, one the held up a horn that was attached loosely around it's neck and blow out a loud bleating sound. 10 more slaves appeared out of seemingly no where to attack Katsuro.

"Woah!" S yelped, ducking just enough to let the impromptu flail pass over his head. When the goblin under him started biting at his ingers, he jerked back slightly, releasing his left hand's grip, just long enough to grab his shotgun by the barrel, swing it around his shoulder by way of the strap, and slam the butt down into the little beast's face about as hard as he could, pumping a round into the chamber in the process. Releasing his right hand, he grabbed the trigger and fired, having aimed the barrel at the goblin that had tried to give him a rock to the head.

{ Change it. I may not be May, but the way you did that is outright disgusting for any good RPer. You're completely surrounded, yet you charge someone else's opponents that are a distance away? In a true RP, your entire post is invalid after the third sentence, because he can just block that one move by pinning you down. }

{ You know, the reason May took so long to respond to the last round was because he saw your last post as god mod? Most people who take the time to make an NPC find it very offensive to have someone god mod against it just because it's not another RPC. I really hope we don't have to wait another day or two because he comes on tomorrow and asks you to change it, then we have to wait for your edits, and then his post. That kind of ruins the fun. }

The slave that took the boot to the face from Azrael crumpled to the ground, it's feeble neck was broken from the sudden impact. The other slave took a swing at the inside of the armored man's ankle. One of the commoners then pulled out a rather ornate looking horn from a pouch on it's side. With one loud and long blow, a pair of goblin soldiers came charging onto the scene, being it was apparent that slaves were to weak to face Azrael, and they themselves were too scared to fight him. The soldiers assessed the situation and both went after Azrael with quick over head swings.

S's blind fire got lucky and shredded the goblin's face off. The goblin that had it's face bashed in with the butt of the shotgun was barely conscious, and still tried to meagerly claw and bite at S. The other commoners took notice of S after he'd blown one of their comrade's faces off, and quickly went to encircle him, one tried to grab at the shotgun, another tried to wrap it's sling around S's neck and choke him, then the last held up a fist sized rock and would try to smash S in the face if the other succeeded in choking him.

One of the slaves managed to dodge the flaming knife, while the others were hit dead on. The slaves then tried to circle Katsuro, not sure which was deadlier, the claw or the sword. When they'd gotten into a crude circle around him, they all tossed their pick-axes at Katsuro, thinking he wouldn't be able to dodge or block all of them at once.
