The green lioness nodded. "I am willing to try." She looked to the King of the Pride for a closure on the subject. The thought of hunting sent her blood flowing and her claws flexed in and out of their sheaths.

The King nodded. "You can be Hunt Mistress..and since Hope is so comfortable, she can be Cub Sitter. I'll go on the hunts with you until Li Na is old enough to help you out. After that, you both are on your own...unless Ling wants to join when he gets older." He King yawned a bit and stretched, his tail waving slightly.

Li Na stared at the food for a moment and turned her head away. Her belly was already full of water and she didn't want to put more into it it. Normally she is silent, her actions speak for her words but sometimes she would speak out a few simple words. "Im already full"

Fayola nodded and walked back over to her cub. Not that she was a teen anymore. She could hunt now with her. "Li Na, you're done?"

"Zebra is not for my tastes now." she looked around for a spot to lay at but nothing around was to her liking till she spotted a medium sized rock on the other side of the cave. She paced over to the rock and leaped up on top of it and rested on it. "Im tired now so just find something to do, you can have my share if you want."

Time had passed and Ling had grown, very much so infact. He moved through the territory occupied by the pride. His pale body and dark spots a striking contrast to the rest of the land around him. He pawed at the ground taking up a confmotable place in the tall grass, feeling more like being alone than anything right now.

Fayola wandered through the oasis, trying to catch the scent of any large game. This was her first major hunt for the pride and she wanted to do well. Not just well, she wanted her first hunt to be perfect. So far she had found nothing.

*it seemed to Hope that everyone was off, doing thier own thing now. She lay outside the entrance to the cave, resting on a pile of large grasses, enjoying the cool shade on that hot daw. She was half asleep, and curled up confortably,...*

Karver stepped away from the lake just finishing with his drink. The pride members were elsewhere and he needed a rest. Many events filled the day and he seemed tired. Stepping close to the den, he saw Hope's pink form curled near to it and smiled. Even though he wanted to talk to her, he knew she needed sleep more. Karver gazed at her for a moment then slowly settled down beside her. If anything, he could just keep her company...

*Hope's head rose as she felt a form settle next to her. as she looked around, she saw Karver. Hope yawned, and flawxed her front legs. "Hello there,..."

He gave a small smile. "Heya...had a nice nap?" His feathered tail waved slightly as his left forepaw messed with the rocks infront of him. Karver looked away from her, his mind seemed to be preoccupied.

"Alot.." He sighed softly growing tired. "Being King is much more tiring than I thought.." He rested against her sighing contently. Karver felt at ease when he was with Hope, and right now he needed to relax. The male looked over at her and grinned. "What about you? What has lil' miss Hope been doing?" He joked with her slightly nudging at her nose with his.

Not much. With no cubs to watch, and Fayola hunting, I don't really have much to do, sooo,... *she shrugged. She didn't mind having nothing to do, but didn't want to seem as if she did nothing.

Li Na hunched her shoulders and stretched her body out to its maxium. Her crimson tail feathers and flasks moved about under a cool breeze in the cave. "My spine is killing me. So much for sleeping on a rock....Have to find a more suitable spot for me before I go cripple" She made her way towards the cave entrance to bask in the sunlight for awhile along with getting some fresh air. As she walked outside she looked around for anyone around. She didn't see Fayola anywhere around and decided to sit around by the oasis for abit.
