Sam looked at her at first thinking of replying no but realized how stubborn that would sound and he was really lost. "Yeah I need some help and don't worry about it you probably don't know alot of people who need help so it makes sense." Sam looked at the corridor around him hoping he could find some familiar land mark but realized he wasn't even trying to remember the way back as he walked over to the combat class which was a major mistake.

[[Did you just edit that? Also *a lot, not 'alot'.]]

Kate raised an eyebrow. "That's the way back to Combat. Where did you want to go, then?"
She had a free next lesson anyway, so she was thinking of sitting in the dining hall all morning, and getting her lunch early while she studied there. Once she'd shown Sam where he was going, of course.

"I don't know do you guys have a library here?" Sam walked up and stopped in front of her and he put his bangs in front of his eyes so she couldn't see them.

"Yeah, it's down in the basement." She turned, orientating herself, towards the direction of the foyer.
"The steps to the basement are in the main entrance. Come on." she said, as she began walking.

Sam followed her down the halls. "Thank you for showing me around." Sam siad said it and then went instantly back to quite quiet, not thinking anything else needed to be said. he He* started to memorize the halls they were passing and trying to plot a way back from where they were going to back to the combat room.

[[* Or did you mean "... quiet. Not thinking anything else needed to be said, he started to memorize..."?]]

Kate shrugged. "Don't mention it."
They'd reached the stone staircase past the medical room, which went down to the basement.
Opening the door, she said "After you." Now she thought about it, she needed some books from the library anyway.

"Thanks for walking me here." Sam went through the open door and walked down the stairs and picked out a book named "Knife of Never Letting Go." Sam read the back of the book to make sure it didn't suck then turned around looking for a librarian. "Is there anyone here that can help me check out this book?' Sam while waiting for some librarian to help sat down and began to read his book and thought that this is the place he'll need to go to if he ever was lost.

[[Like any library, there is a counter, behind which the librarian sits, and which one approaches when taking a book out.]]

Kate nodded, and whispered. "See you around." as she made her way into the library stacks and disappeared.

Miss Carter, the young librarian, slipped back behind her counter. She'd been putting returned books back on the shelves and left the counter unattended, which she hated to do. However, very few students now volunteered to help in the library anymore. She was beginning to think most of them didn't even know it was there.
That thought made her sigh audibly. Despite being a pretty 23 year old, with long dark hair, brown eyes, a creamy complexion, and a slim figure, she spent a lot of time reading, and couldn't see why others didn't.

"See you around then." Sam turned to the librarian who just walked out from behind her counter. "Hello can you check this out for me?" Sam walked over to her so he didn't make her have to be louder then she had to and so she can see the person she was talking too so he wouldn't be rude as he held the book in his right hand and looked over the bookcases reveling in the amount of books there.

[[Lol, yeah, I hadn't thought to make one before. The idea was created *after* the School subforum was, when I put it on the map of the basement, so I guess I forgot to make a thread for it. Hero High: Constantly improving...

Also, could you make your sentences shorter, while still retaining the post length?]]

Miss Carter smiled, not having noticed the student before.
"Well hello there. Of course you can." she took the book from him.
"Ah, The Knife of Never Letting Go..." her eyes went milky and the colours in them swirled for a second or two. "Written by Patrick Ness, published May 5th 2008, the first instalment of the Chaos Walking trilogy-" she stopped abruptly, and blushed ever so slightly.
"I'm sorry about that; occasionally I lose control of my recall abilities and I just start recounting everything I know." She scanned the book. "What's your name and room number? I need them so you can take this out..."

(It was a pain in my *** to find out what room i was in. Sorry if im not supposed to say things like that tell me so i dont do that again.)

"No problem as long as you don't tell me the ending i'm fine."
Sam smiled as he talked, he allways like talking to teachers and staff.
"I'm on the first floor room 8 and my names Samuel Beaumonte."
Sam would have normally held out his hand but it seemed she was too busy right now.

[[Things like what? You can say most things as long as you * them out xD ]]

Miss Carter smiled. "I'll try not to do that then."
She typed in his room number, confirmed his name, the pressed enter. Setting the book down on the counter and opening the cover, she stamped the return date in it, then shut it and handed it over.
"There you are then. It's due back in 2 weeks. Were you looking for any other books?"
PostPosted: Sat Feb 19, 2011 10:18 am

(Ok i don't cuss much anyway...well not in rp)

"Do you have "The scorch trials" here?"
Sam looked back at the bookcases as if he could spot it like it was just out there waiting for him to see it. Sadly it wasn't as easy to find a book within hundreds
of others.

Her eyes swirled again as she searched,
"By James Dashner? Yes, we do. It's in the fiction section under 'D', at the far end. Just ask if you can't find it."
She flicked a speck of dust off the counter and set the scanner back in its place.
