"I can't though.. I don't even know how..." Owan said simply, not having the energy to debate the fact as he leaned slightly into the gentle caresses of his companion. "Something... must ... be 'wrong... with me.." he said as he closed his eyes falling asleep near the tank with her watching him. His dreams were odd, like they were going through a filter, and he heard singing, but it was around him, directly, like he was still unborn, in his dream. He smiled as he curled up listening to the tune continue.

Owan woke in the morning his arms around something, then slowly he realized it was Ariadne, and blushed some at the fact he was hugging her close to him, though he was glad she was still in the water partially. Without thinking to let her go he spoke in a tired morning voice. "Good morning..." Owan said softly eyes barely open.

Owan let go slowly as she woke in case she wished to go back in the water. "So... yeah, yesterday was weird."Owan said sitting up slowly looking himself over and not seeing anything out of the ordinary. "What do you think happened?" he asked moving to sit at the edge of the water his feet splashing the water slightly. "I mean I dont remember doing anything, but thrashing about and sinking, and then I was up here... it's like i blacked out once i was underwater... but still kept moving..." he said musing to himself about the events that had occurred.

Owan sighed, looking at the water. "Bet my mother would know whats wrong with me." he said in a melancholy way, as if he'd never met the woman. "From what dad said she was so smart and intelligent, she was good at practically everything, he did say she was a bit wobbly with her legs on land though, but thats what happens when your a swimmer." he said with a laugh pointing to a picture of his mother and father on his desk. She was quite beautiful, and she looked happy, but it looked like she needed to go somewhere, and soon.

Owan looked to Ariadne quizzically with an eyebrow raised. "Yeah, as far as I know, not like I can call and ask, she left when I was still really little... I dont even remember her." Owan said with a sigh s he began kicking his legs a bit more trying not to let that thought depress him. "Wanna know something silly? That time when I fell in the water when i was young, and I woke up on the beach... I thought it was my mom who'd saved me, cause my dad and sister weren't around to help me, but I probably just thought about her when i was drowning before whoever saved me saved me." he said giving himself the answer he'd always given himself on the subject.

Owan just shook his head like that wasn't possible. "No, I cant swim... I mean if I dove in right now I'd sink like a rock, and you'd have to save me, whatever happened was just a fluke.." he said like he was sure of that if nothing else he was sure he couldn't swim. "Maybe I'm just not meant to be in the water, where beauty's like yourself can swim and sing, and be happy." he said sounding honest, and yet slightly sad at the same time, like he longed to do the same but couldn't see that ever happening.

Owan looked to her,and the water, it filled him with dread, but she was right he wanted to know. He took a deep breathe, and closed his eyes, and simply let himself fall forward ina a sloped dive trying to ignore the sensation around him. His heart began to pound faster in his chest, and he thought he could hear screaming in his ears. Then he felt his feet touch bottom and he opened his eyes he was shaking, but he was fine, for now he still had air from before he came down. He pushed off the ground going up a bit as he tries kicking his legs in the water getting up some more, but still trying he tried using his hands as he slowly started to run out of air, his actions becoming eratic.
