"Good looking it is then!" She laughed before grinning, "Sweets are awesome," She nodded, taking the plate back and cleaning up whatever was left before the eye scream could melt too much and turn the waffles soggy, "Not good to have... Too much at one go though, I imagine." She smiled sheepishly as she glanced up at the boil, and then at the no-longer-flaming bat wings.
"I think most of us can't eat them when they're on fire, sadly," She couldn't resist giggling as she speared a wing, breaking part of it off and popping it into her mouth. She winced, opening her mouth and fanning it for a second before grabbing her glass of water and taking several big gulps. Lowering the glass of water, she then sighed.
"Uh... Well, I think it would taste much better if I wasn't too busy thinking of how to save my tongue from certain death by fire..."

Jericho cringed a bit as Lizzy seemed to have burnt her tongue. The wings were still probably fairly hot he supposed. Grinning weakly, he gave a sort of nervous chuckle while finishing up his wings.
"Yeah.. sorry about that. It'll probably take a little while for them to cool off to a more manageable temperature I guess," he said. Once he finished the wings, he ate up the last of the lizard tails before wiping his fingers onto the napkins and letting out a satisfied sigh.
"Well, Lizzy, thank you again for lunch!"

"It's alright," She nodded with a small smile, "You probably couldn't tell the temperature difference anyway... And it did sort of warm me up a little after all that eye scream!" She chuckled softly before settling the bill... Which wasn't too bad considering how good the food was.
"You're very welcome~" She grinned, tilting her head before heading for the door, pausing near it to wait for Jericho before letting herself out, "Back to school~" Oddly enough, 'school' was said fondly... It had really became a sort of second home, and she was sure it applied to many of the students as well.
Funny what a few field trips can do to one person.
