Eloise tried to look hurt, but she wasn't that good an actress.

"Ooo. Sounds dreadful. Especially considering I've only been in office for a year, and this happened five years ago. There's a reason some of the names in this file could bring down the entire American Council. Only those in office for the past four years are completely free from this, as once the file was classified, no one knew about it. The only reason I found out about it, was because your friend Tobias. Was it not for him calling my office personally, I would have never even heard the entire story."

SHe leaned forward, her face dark.

"You see why it is I want the current government system removed? You see why it is I need your co-operation and your trust to fix this? I can bring the ones responsible to justice. At least those responsible for the actual cover-up. And prevent something like this from ever happening again. But you need to learn to trust the right people. Starting with the one trying to help, who had nothing to do with this. You're still putting the blame on the wrong people, Jarid. It's time to put it on the right people."

"Temper, temper. THere's no reason to get mad.Not here, anyway."

She reached down to the case, opened it up, and passed an extremely thick file to Jarid.

"Just to give you a heads up, General Augistine Jones, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he was the senior military official responsible for this file's classification. And the old President Joseph Crole, who was in office at the time, he was never notified of anything. Otherwise, his reaction would have been the same as mine,. At the bottom of the last page, you'll see a signed order by General, who was a Colonel at the time, that the President would not know about the Raptor, or the fact that it was carrying the bomb."

Eloise sat there quietly.

Poor guy. He's finding out that over half the Council, as well as a good portion of the upper echelons of the military, are all responsible for the lie he's been living. At least he has some good friends and allies. Myself, Sveta, Colonel Jackson, Captain Winters, and two members of the Supreme Court.

"Now, you tell me what you think. And please be careful, that's the only copy of that file."

Eloise tsked.

"We went over that. No matter how angry you are, you couldn't do much. EVen Ebinay wouldn't burn. And the US is just a part of a whole now. Take me for example, I'm a Canadian. Stop with the idle braggacido and threats. YOu look silly."

SHe held her hand out.

"Now, might I have the file?"

"Oh? You're the one giving history lessons now? I thought you were a soldier. You should know tactics. Let me give you a lesson in tactics. In order to burn even Ebinay, you'd have to take on every Zoid on the base. You wouldn't last five minutes. Especially since you can't take out a Whale King Alpha, but it can take you out without touching anything else."

She took the file, then deposited it back in the case.

"Not without outside help of course. Which is what you're going to need. And which is what you're going to get."

"Right now, your sister is in Russia with Captain Winters. They will return around 2000 local. Exactly seven hours after his return, no sooner, no later, an Oriental Alliance Hover Cargo will be just on the other side of the OA-PAC border. THere is a tiny movement in the Alliance that wants to make peace. The Hover Cargo is filled with those peace-makers. At full speed, it will take you exactly ten minutes to reach the transport. However, obviously they aren't just going to let you walk off with a Blade Liger. And I have under good reference that you won't leave your Zoid. As such, you will need to fight your way out."

Eloise paused to clear her throat.

"And as I stated earlier, you can't take on the entire base. As such, you'll need someone to disable the Liger Zeros, the Schneiders and the other Blade Ligers. That's where your sister and her team come in. They'll need to disable the thrusters and boosters on those Zoids. Because they're not assigned to aerial Zoids, they can't do anything about about them, but I have a plan for that."

SHe pulled another file out of her case. This one was a notification to the Joint Chiefs that an OA IAU Pilot and his team were POWs.

"As you're aware of, as is the rest of the military, there's an Alliance soldier on Ebinay. His team will break out, causing a base-wide scramble. That will give your team a chance to get to your Zoids. As you're aware of, a Gordos and a Dibison can't run that fast. That's where you'll have to come in. Your team is going to have to give them cover. Sergeant Yadav's Zaber Fang, Command Wolf, and his Liger Zero, as well as your team, will be more than enough to keep the rest of the defenders occupied while the two slower Zoids run for the border. The main problem you won't be able to handle is the Aerial Zoids. But Captain WInters has already been briefed on his part in this plan."

She put the notification back in the case as well, this time closing it, the case locking.

"Your sister and her team will remain here, as there's no way the rest of you would make that Hover Cargo in time if you have a Gustav following you. And it will also keep her and her team innocent. No one will suspect them of any wrongdoing. She will become so broken up that she will request leave. Her and her team will board the Bustav and be taken to Saint Petersburg, where she will then be taken to your location. The Hover Cargo has been instructed on where to take you and your team. Once the lot of you arrive in Vorkuta, you will be met by representatives of the Silver Rain Mercenary Organization. They will be taking you and your sister in. Their base is secret, known only to members, and to the Russian Military. The Tsarina stated years ago that Kronos Fortress is protected, and is to be left alone. You will all be safe. You and your team will be labled as traitors, but you will be safe while I work my end. Once the Council is overthrown and I become President of the Americas, I will grant you and your team a full pardon, allowing all you you to return to the Coalition."

SHe uncrossed her legs and leaned forward.

"Is that acceptable to you?"
