"Right! RIGHT! Sorry, sorry, ahhahahaha..." Jerry smiled weakly as he let go of the shorter man before gingerly dusting off his shoulders, only then noticing the newly-blond man wandering off, "Oh! Oh, Robert, wait! Where are you- OH! RIGHT! Well... well that would be a good place to start looking, right? C'mon, before he picks out something awful without us." With a brighter smile this time, the Sun-Trainee hooked his arm with Jordan's to hurry after the Man on a Mission.

"Yeaaahhhh, good idea." Jordan let himself be hauled along without further protest. That had been the plan in the first place, anyway.

Deep down, Robert knew his best friends would follow him. So when he turned his head, just slightly, and caught the two men just behind him, he turned back and smirked. His hands dug into his pockets, and he whistled a happy tune.
A happy Christmas tune.
The giant ZALES sign passed right over his head as he walked inside, and stopped cold as he stared at all the jewelry.
There was an entire three seconds before he turned around, white as a sheet and sweating bullets, and walked right back out the door.

"Oh, no you don't," Jerry huffed, still smirking as he pulled on Jordan's arm until the two were able to clothes-line him, leading the way to drag him back inside the store, "I'm the one who's supposed to panic, not you, big boy, now c'mon. A kiss on the hand might be quite continental, but diamonds are a girl's best friend."

Smirking faintly, Jordan latched onto Robert's upper arm and helped steer him back into the store. "Deep breaths," he instructed kindly. "Are you going to need a paper bag?"

Robert let out a whine of agony as he was dragged, kicking and screaming, back into the store. "W-wait, guys, I was just kidding. Honest! I just uh, was gonna get myself an ice cream! Goddamnit.." Robert got back up on his feet and turned, trying not to look at all the shinies and their pricetags.
A lovely little lady wearing far too much makeup came up to the three, eyeing them with a calculating stare before giving them a pleasant grin.
"Let me guess. Engagement rings?"
She'd seen them drag him inside. She knew that scene far too well.

"Engagement rings," Jordan agreed, and patted Robert's shoulder. "Don't scare him too much. We've got to bring him back with his brain in full functioning order. Or as close as it gets."
They were Hunters; they fought creatures straight out of humanity's worst nightmares as their calling in life. All well and good. This? This was pretty damn scary.

"Yes! Most certainly an engagement ring! He wants the BEST ONE YOU HAVE, apparently!" Jerry boasted proudly, swinging an arm firmly around Robert's shoulder in case he made another break for it- he at least would be dragged along behind him. "Also... also maybe some... amethyst earrings?" He trailed off, distracted by a glittering turning rack.

"OH WHOA WHOA WHOA NOW, DON'T GO SAYIN' s**t LIKE THE BEST RING EVER." Robert had snapped out of his fear, and suddenly he was out for blood. Shopping for pricey items was srs bsns. "Let's see some affordable options, and we'll go from there. Don't let him get you too excited, pretty lady." He gave the girl an effortlessly charming wink. "Now, let's see.. got anything in yellow?"
Help.

Jerry was rendered momentarily useless as he was distracted by the various shinies, his own mind whirling and chugging over his own mission. Yeah.... yeah! Amethysts!

ALL. THE. CLOTHES. Madison was vaguely aghast. She'd gotten used to only a few outfits. How had she gotten used to only a few outfits!? MADNESS. The trainee Hunter sighed at the racks and racks of stylish clothing. Well, kind of stylish. Oh god, she hated the 80s. Why. Why did fashion do this. Why. "Oh, you brought a friend," she said to Candace, grinning at Marcus. "But... but I guess the true... the true spirit of Christmas is... buying for others not yourself..." She gave the clothing racks a look of abject woe. "So... so. Yes. Where are we going?" Cloooooooooooothes. :(

Woahhhhhh. Slow down girls. A guy can only handle so much so fast. "No worries. I got some shopping done already, but she's a bit top priority. Madison looked down right like a kicked puppy at the lack of clothes. Candace probably also wanted something for herself too. Girls and clothes. "Since I am kind of going to need your guy's advice-" Could his budget afford it? Hopefully. "Pick one thing out and I'll buy it for you. It is Christmas after all." He smiled at Candace as well. "You too. A Christmas thank you gift I guess. Just nothing...crazy expensive is all I ask."

The sales clerk looked equally as disgusted at the idea of yellow instead of diamonds in an engagement ring, but she started pulling out all of the rings in their yellow sapphire collection. Robert found a particularly gaudy giant number, and held it up in front of Jordan's face. "LOOK HOW BIG IT IS." He practically screamed. "What do you think?"
