"Well, if anything, how wouldn't want to fight all of us, just me. He used to be my master, bought me as a baby and faked his death. Then he turned me into what I am now, and because I refuse to be like him, he wants to see me dead." Zonarch tried to be a thorough as he could make it. "He's a vampire, and I'm a half-vampire. I have yet to have a taste of human blood. If I did then I'd become unbelievably powerful. A new-born vampire has the strength to make even gods tremble with fear. I'm not going become an abomination unless all other options are exhausted, and I mean all others." Zonarch picked the plate up and slowly started eating it making a face of disgust. "Regular food taste terrible while I'm in this form."
Orion took the food and scoffed it down quickly. "Not bad, could use a little bit of salt." Orion stared at the jail keepers eyes trying to use his ability to persuade. "If you really wanted to help, you'd help us all get out. Me and that kid over there have an old score to settle and I'd like to do it away from here."

"I've already given you a way out." The jail keeper pointed to the food. "I was hoping you'd all figure it out on your own. I'd rather not be here when you brake this joint. Master would punish me very much. See you around." He walked off.
Hydro started eating a baked potato, until he bit into something. He spit out a small golden key. "Zonarch! I know it may taste nasty but try the potatoes!" Hydro smiled with key in hand. Ever so carefully, he reached through his cage doors trying not to get shocked. He placed the key in its respectful place, and turned it. With that, his cage door flew open.

Zonarch picked a potato up and stared at it. "I don't think I need the potassium." He squished the potato in his hand and removed the key. "Besides, I don't think gold is good for your diet." Zonarch reached through the gate and unlocked his cage.
Orion spit out the metal object. "Thanks stranger!" He unlocked his cage and ran over to Zonarch. "Well well Zonarch. Hows it going." Zonarch looked at Orion ready to fight. "Relax kid, I'm not here to fight, we need to get out of here before anything like that can occur." Orion looked over to Hydro. "Nice to meet you, my names Orion."

The flames grew higher around them as Mica grew more angry. She didn't appreciate that they were trying to use her friends lives to control her. The growing heat and from her spiritual flames and the draw on her energy seemed to snap her back to some sort of sense though. The flames dropped and she collapsed from drawing her energy back so suddenly. "I was about to do something very foolish again, wasn't I?" she said between heavy breaths, "My mother always warned me about this anger." Glancing back at the cage, she sighed. "I've broken the receiver on this collar, and I have flames more than hot enough to melt that cage down. Yet, you want me to go back to so that I can do what, help me friends get free to?"

"It doesn't matter what you do. Even if you escape, how will you get home? You're a million miles in the air in a realm that has nothing but my arena. Not so smart now, are you girl?" The intercom blasted the sinster laugh.
Hydro rolled his eyes at the man. "Zonarch told me all about you. Not that it matters, but I'm Hydro. Now that we have that out of the way, lets find a way out of this place." He looked down the long dark hallway, which seemed to branch out in different directions.

Laughing, Mica walked over to the cage, "You think where we are really matters? I've escaped from stranger situations." She placed her hand on the bars opposite to the doors of the cage and the blue fire melted them down. She stepped into it, "So, you wanna bring me to my friends so we can prove just how much trouble we can be?"

"Oh, so Zonarch here actually talked about me. I feel so honored." Orion smiled his devilish smile. "Don't flatter yourself, once we're out of here, we're back to fighting." Zonarch pulled his sword out. "So do we raise hell or do we just kill everything in our path?" Zonarch looked to Hydro as the teams leader.

The master quickly pushed the button while Mica was standing in the cage. It went back underground, where Hydro turned to it.
"Mica, you're alive! Good, we'll need you." He smiled, then turned to Zonarch. "We should start by finding Nero. I know he tried to kill us, but he is still a friend." He walked forward a bit, then stopped as he realized they were in a giant maze. "This may be harder than I thought. Anyone good at mazes?"

"Hey wait for me!" Tara dug through her food and found a key, unlocing her cage. She jumped beside the group.

Zonarch stared down the halls of the maze. He shrugged, "Not me, I'm usually the one who jump in head first and hope for the best, thinking isn't exactly my forte." Orion studied the hallways. "Well now Zonarch, isn't that what got you here to begin with." Zonarch noticed the hint of mockery in Orion's voice and glared at him. "Shut up, you're in this mess too." Orion waved away Zonarch's comment. "Yeah yeah, I believe we should follow the fresh footsteps and try our best to avoid following the scratches on the walls."

"Look at you, moping over that hoity-toity f** of yours. Pathetic little s**t, you don't even deserve to exist!" Gus spat through the caged door. "But the Master likes you, same as me. It's because we aren't like those weaklings you call friends. We have the Awakening, so they won't beat us." Gus grinned. "The Master says you are free to go home if you kill that Mica b***h. We'll see in the next match." He turned and walked away, laughing.
Nero sighed, and stood up, gazing at Bart's statue. "I'll do whatever it takes t survive!" He went and fished the key out from it's potato and left the room.

"Hey, slow down a moment guys," Mica was looking pale, but she ran out of the hole she made in the cage after them, "I've exhausted some of spiritual energy from losing my temper a little." She looked Tara, "I don't suppose you know anything about restoring someones spiritual energy, do you?" Pausing for a moment, she looked over everyone, "Oh, I should also do something about your collars, they can still receive transmissions..."

Hydro paused, looking at Mica with worry in his face. "Sorry, I'll wait. If Tara doesnt have anything to make you feel better I dont know what we will do."
"Master, I'm worried about the jail keeper. He keeps talking to those runts." "You dont think I know that, Ruse? Dont worry, when the time comes, he will have to decide where his loyality lies. If he chooses those mangy dogs over me, he will die. Now go, Ruse, prepare the arena for the next battle." Ruse nodded, and left.

Nero had been wandering for about twenty minutes when he passed by a hallway full of empty cages. He stopped, tensing up as he heard voices. He caught the scent of the others moments before they emerged from the darkness ahead. "You guys too? That jailkeeper has balls." He shot a rueful expression at Hydro and Tara, then turned to Mica with a sneer. "I see you still have a head. ******** lucky for a stubborn b***h like you."He felt his anger rising as he thought about Bart, and how he hadn't been spared.

"Watch what you call me jerk, and that language of yours too, it isn't proper to use around ladies," Mica snapped at Nero, "And for your information, this stubbornness has kept me alive thus far." She place a hand on Nero's collar and it sparked, "There, your receiver is busted now. It should give you little more freedom." She did the same for the others. "I think I'll have to cut back on any more use of spiritual energy now until I've had time to rest," she said, catching a glance at some of the food on the ground. She picked up a potato and spoke through a stuffed mouth, "How long ago did you guys get out of your cages?"
