Lily gave a small smile. "Oh no, I don't have a problem. My only problem is that you all look as if you want to attack someone. Is there a reason why?" She gave a sharp glace at James. Luckily he hadn't noticed her.

Kailyn watched Gwin go with little concern. She could tell that the girls wanted something from her, but that didn't worry her. She would simply turn them down, or if that didn't work, she had other ways of getting her point across. A smile flitted across her face as she remembered the last guy that had tried to convince her to be his date for a ball. A horribly persistant fellow....Thom, his name was. Hm.
-Flashback -
"Come on, Kailyn. You know you can't refuse!"
"I think I just did, Thom. Leave me alone."
"Seriously. Just say that little word, and you'll have a date to the ball."
"Seriously, NO."
"Kailyn..."
"I said, leave me alone."
(Thom makes a bad desicion)

Lily waved to Sirius and walked off. "That was fruitful. Well at least James didn't notice me." She opened her book again and sat down. People were whispering about her and talking to Sirius.

James turned to Remus, a nonplussed expression on his face. This question came as a suprise to him. He never thought why, just how. Or what, as in what next....
"That's a good question. When did this all start? What, our third year or something?" He asked, then reached for the potatoes.
"And you know, I think I'd call it rivalry, not competition." He smirked.
"Because there is no competition."

Talos continued to pester Kael.
"C'mon. If you don't- I'll pester Remus. And you know how much he LOVES that!" Talos rolled her eyes.
Kael flinched, but stared at the mash potatoes determandly.
"It might be one of those girl things..." he muttered bashfully.
"I can tell you right now Kael Wallis Shacklebolt- That was no girl thing!" Talos exclaimed rather loudly. Now people were staring. Bringing her voice back to a whisper.
"Seriously, it IS your turn...."
Gwin laughed bitterly as she mounted her broom. She swiped at a stray tear and kicked off, harder than necissary. She never played Qwittich, but this year WAS the year.
'And this year- Everything is up for grabs.' Gwin remembered her sister's words very clearly.
"Everything but what I want." she muttered. And sped off around the goal posts, her body wrapped tightly around the broom.

None of the Marauders had noticed that Peter had slipped off somwhere.... (DunDunDun. I'll have to make a seperate post for what he's doing.)

Lily smiled to herself. James... convincing herself he was an idiot was harder than she thought. Oh well... he was sweet after all. Wait... I sound like I'm in love.

Sirius suddenly noticed that other people were whispering about him. Oh, well. He grinned and shook his hair back. A little fame never hurt anyone. And hey, this way, the new girl might find out about him.

Kailyn heard whispers, and smirked slightly. Sirius, eh? She'd be sure to give him the wide berth he deserved.

Leah looked with concern after Gwin, but knew she couldn't do anything right now. She'd wait until bedtime, then get to the bottom of this.
Talos's voice rose, and Leah smiled in spite of herself. It seemed Kael Shacklebolt would get the brunt of it, which was just fine with her. Speaking of pillow talk.... Leah turned to Kailyn.
"I'm really excited you're here, we've been looking for someone like you." She smiled like the chesire cat. "And guess what? You room with us. Funny how things work out, eh?" Leah motioned to Nadia to get in the conversation. "Anyway, the reason we've been looking for someone like you, is because we have a little group here, and we need a fourth member."

[Ooc: Sorry, I haven't been on awhile.]
Nadia swallowed the bite of ham and turned to Leah and Kailyn. "Yep, just one. We were hoping to find our fourth very soon." She winked at Leah, and took a bite of her ham. After swallowing she turned to them again. "We are in a little" She paused to find the right word, "Feud, with another group and we need another member to help us out. And since you're rooming with us. . ." Nadia stopped and left the rest to Kailyn to figure out on her own. She had that expecting look in her eyes, like she had just asked a question and was now waiting for an answer.
Nadia was also getting a little worried about Gwin as she spoke. She had been gone for awhile. But she knew Gwin. Nadia knew she would be ok. Or so she hoped.

Lily groaned as someone came up to her and asked if she liked Sirius. "No I don't like him, I don't like anyone. Now go away." Wow that was a big lie. I like James. She focused on her book again.

Sirius nudged Remus suddenly, bored. "Hey, when's the next full moon?" he asked in a low voice, double checking to see that no one could hear him.
