When Riyo's hand was released, the ghoul pulled it back towards herself and glanced away, a bit ashamed she'd allowed him to do that now.
Though the problem was soon forgotten when she laid eyes on the sight in front of her. It was so loud the ghoul momentarily reached up to cover her ears in an effort to soften the blow, but when she finally got used to it...
It was like a kid in a candy store. So many things to see, so many smells to savor. Sounds to hear. All new experiences.
Oh, wait. She was with Titus. Better downplay this. "Uh... No, no I haven't..." Nervously she scratched under her chin as she looked around. There were indeed a lot of people... And considering all the numerous creatures and genders, she could safely assume the interests here would be varied. "I don't usually have time for these sorts of places." Fun things, that is. And it seemed obvious since she hadn't mentioned it that her parents didn't bother taking her.
"I often think of things like this as pointless. If I'm not gaining something then there's no reason I should be doing it." That didn't stop her from practically staring holes into the cat plushies she saw decorating some of the game booths.
Shaking her head, Riyo finally looked back at the nightmare demon. "What about you? This doesn't really scream Titus either..."

"Pointless?" Titus' expression was nothing less than amused. "What's not pointless really? Sometimes its better to get enjoyment out of pointless things than be buried and miserable under others."
He saw the feline staring off in the distance but honestly there were so many things, Titus had no clue what she was looking at. Would he care otherwise? Probably not.
"Of course this place screams Titus." As if to prove his point he snatched a plush animal from a kid running passed and quickly threw it back over his shoulder and over the fence into no man's land. The kid stopped as if unsure what happened and turned to stare at the demon with the biggest saddest eyes as he watching his plush disappear.
"Scram Junior."
Tears began to well up and the kid ran off screaming to who knows where. Likely his parents were no where close.
"All the entertainment I could ever hope for." So....he didn't really come for the park. That much was obvious now.

"Way to sound like a spoiled s**t that's never done a lick of work in his lifetime." Riyo scoffed and clutched her little purse with both hands. Honestly...
Not that his logic was flawed. It was actually a solid idea. "You probably had maids to do everything for you when you were growing up, right? Even one that got paid just to tell you how handsome you are?" Psch. Probably one to iron his underwear too.
Titus demonstrating just how 'Titus' the park was didn't seem to impress Riyo either (not that he was going for that). In fact, she almost pitied the kid. "You know what? When that kid's parents find you and beat the living s**t out of you, I'm going to sit back and laugh. But for now? I've got work to do." She emphasized the word, though it was obvious she wanted to explore. You could almost see it in her eyes.
Momentarily, the ghoul observed a boil and what she assumed was his ghoulfriend standing at one of the prize stands. She had her pouty face on, pointing towards a stuffed foxfire, and he just kept dishing out seeds to try and hit the Jack damn stack of jars.
HMMMMMMMMM.
Okay, this should be easy.
Glancing around for a moment, Riyo shuffled her now raw feet over to the nearest bench and put on the best pathetic face she could possibly muster, eyes full of sad, holding her purse as if it was her last friend on earth. Oh if this didn't work she didn't know what would.

"Ha ha, maids. That's a joke," Though what an intriguing idea. It wasn't like his family didn't have money he just had to do 'jobs' to earn it. They had keepers for the house but he wasn't entitled to their help. If he couldn't make food he didn't eat, if he couldn't clean he simply lived in filth, and so on. His father could be a hard a** at time telling him it would make him value such commodities later in life. Right....sure...what the ******** ever.
"You think you know a lot about me and while amusing you're about a league off." The comment about the parents was brushed aside. Like the little brat would be able to find him again. This place was huge.
"Good luck Ms. Boil, remember Plan B is to flash some panties." And while she was off to woo some boils Titus took that moment to wander off a little to get a drink. He was still within sight of the feline so he could watch her movements but it gave him an opportunity to look around because honestly...he liked the games.

Riyo didn't pay much attention to Titus's attempt at conveying his own life to her. With the way he regarded work, the ghoul didn't figure he'd labored a day of his life like she had. Nope. Not possible.
Oh, Right, she was working.
Soon enough a tall boil, what Riyo assumed was a ghost, started floating by. He seemed to be looking up rather than down, so the ghoul placed her face in her hands and started making a sobbing sound. It was slightly degrading, but time was running out.
And suddenly the boil was at attention, rubbing the back of his scruffy head as he gave the feline the once over. He... Probably wouldn't have stopped if she didn't look smokin' right then.
"Aw, baby, what's wrong?" He cooed, managing to plant himself next to her. "All dressed up with nowhere to go?"
Oh quick Riyo think of something. Those romance novels you read. Why would a ghoul be crying? OH THERE'S A GOOD ONE.
"I-it's nothing." Women always said that when there was something wrong. ALWAYS. It was like a verifier that this wasn't a lie.
"Well it's gotta be somethin' if you're fussin' like this." He tried to look genuinely concerned, but Riyo could almost feel his lies. He wasn't trying very hard.
"It's just... My boilfriend broke up with me... Just a few minutes ago. And left me here... I just don't know what to do." When in doubt, say something even more pathetic.
The ghost seemed to smile at these words. Probably thinking something along the lines of 'jackpot'. "Then he must be insane to break up with a pretty kitty such as yourself." Riyo wanted to punch him. She wanted to punch him right in his stupid face. So much. Especially with how he just kept leaning closer. And closer. And closer.
Okay. How about an excuse to get him away for a minute while she composed herself? Sniffling, Riyo wiped at her eyes, quick to pretend wipe them on her dress before she finally looked at the boil. "H-he said... He was going to win me one of those cats before we got here. H-he was always so b-b-bad at that game."
Seeing it as a chance to prove himself worthy of more than just a sad look, the specter hopped up and marched over to the game booth. "Don't you worry, little ghoul. I'll get you something nice." So she could give him something nice in return.
And as soon as the boil turned around, Riyo's sad face turned into a mischievous grin.

From afar Titus could see the approach Riyo was going to take. Ah, the helpless damsel. This ought to be good.
With a drink in hand the demon had a seat on a bench and watched the scene unfold. If only he had popcorn. He really didn't think this would go well by any means, the feline was probably loathing herself right about now for stooping to this level. Oh how delicious.
Titus really wished he could hear the conversation. He expected it was a grade A performance so at the moment he was narrating in his head what was possibly being said.
'Hey there sweet cheeks. What's a ghoully like you doing looking so down?' Titus was fairly certain this was accurate.
'Oh woe is me. I am but a poor pitiful ghoul. Please pity me, boo whoo whoo.' He also thought that was pretty spot on.
'Let my amazingly meager and lanky form offer you comfort.'
'Oh, would you? I would be ever so grateful~ I was just brought to tears by how pathetic I am.'
'You do look pretty pitiful but so do I. I think we can go places babe.'
This conversation was gold. Titus had no idea what was really being said but he felt his mental narration was close enough. But what was the boil doing now? He was looking toward the games now with a determined look in his eye. Was he...going to attempt to get Riyo something? Why did that irk him a little? Oh well, best to see how this played out.

It became painfully obvious in the first round of the game that she had picked the wrong boil to manipulate. It looked like he was having trouble just picking the ball up, and throwing it... Holy Jack this was sad. He hit the jars... once. And all they did was make a clinking sound. He went 3out rounds before the boil either ran out of seeds or got fed up with trying.
The game owner seemed to take a small sort of pity on the ghost. He gave her knight in hand-me-down armor a very small lollipop as some sort of consolation prize.
Riyo was not amused. The boil returned with the offer and a smirk. "A for effort, right sweet cheeks?" The feline said nothing. She needed to compose herself and fast, or she was gonna blow the whole thing. It got harder and harder to keep her face from contorting into anger, especially when a translucent draped over her shoulder. "How about we skip the formalities and get to the comfortiing part, eh?"
Straw that broke the cat's back. Riyo grabbed the lollipop from his hands and without unwrapping it, shoved it into his mouth. "I hate sweets." The ghoul stood, dusted herself off, and startted walking away... but not before flipping the boil off as she left.

Oh this was too rich. Titus held back his laughter for the first few moments just watching the ghost try to handle the ball. The first lame throw and Riyo would no doubt hear him crackling in the distance. When the ball clinked off the bottles Titus roared with laughter. The game owner even pitied the poor boil. A sucker for a sucker.
What did Riyo think of her choice? Titus was dying to know. It looked like she was keeping it together well but whatever the boil said, whatever magical words managed to leave his lips had obviously made Riyo snap. The lollipop was shoved into his mouth and he was promptly flipped off as Riyo stormed away.
"AHAHAHAHA!!"
Titus nearly doubled over then with laughter unable to contain himself. The only thing that made him stop was the subtle tap on his shoulder.
"Hey, Bub."
White eyes turned back and first glanced the little scareling from earlier. The one he had taken the toy from. As his eyes moved a little over to the side he saw the knees of another figure....a large figure. It felt like he had to keep turning upward before he was finally able to see the face of this...creature. Was it a man? Was it a woman? Titus had no idea. The thing was wearing a moomoo but had the voice of a lumberjack and the features of one too.
"My kid says ye took his toy." The parent said in a growl.
Hahah...ha..ha okay good feeling gone. Titus was certain this person was going to beat him into oblivion. Carefully he rose from his seat on the bench holding his hands up defensively. Had he expected the kid to come back? Not really but he hadn't helped his cause by staying in the same area.
"Je suis désolé, mais je ne parle pas Anglais." Titus hoped to throw a bit of confusion in there with the French, it seemed to work a little since the lady man thing had no idea what he had just uttered. Carefully he made his exit, slipping into the crowd and heading toward Riyo. He did his best to keep a smile on his face but unexpectedly looped an arm through her's once he was close and pulled her along.
"This side of the park is rather dull, maybe you'll have better luck by the rides."

Oh, Riyo could hear his laughter. She was ready to punch him in the gut... But wait. Who was his new friend? WAIT. THERE WAS THE KID. This time Riyo was the one laughing her a** off. So hard she didn't notice him getting away. Who was grabbing her a- oh.
"I should scream and say you're kidnapping me. Its what you deserve."The she didn't, of course. "Do you like touching me or something? You've been doing it a lot today." She didn't call him out on it before, but she was doing it now.
Momentarily, her eyes glanced toards the game booths wwith a sigh. Looked like she'd have to come back later and win one for herself.

"You wouldn't be the first screamer," Titus said it with such a matter of a fact tone it was hard to tell what he meant by it and he really didn't go into detail as he looked over his shoulder to see if he was being followed. Aw Hell, there it was. The large burly creature was hard to miss, the kid dangling off an arm like a marsupial. Best to pick up the pace.
"Why? Do you like me touching you?" Titus asked as he turned back around to face the feline. "I figure you, like most cats, if not forced into a direction will just wander off and do whatever the ******** you please. I'm just keeping you one task." A fat lie but that was all Riyo got as they weaved through the crowd and took a sharp turn toward the rides.
The next time Titus looked back the coast was clear. Either they had lost the towering lumberjack or it had lost interest. The demon came to a stop for a moment to compose himself having a look around at their current location. There were a number of rides about. At the moment they were in the less intense ride area with the spinning spider, broken teacups, swings, and small roller coasters that only had hills. Up ahead though it was easy to see the larger roller coasters and some of the other rides that were no doubt meant to thrill you or make you pee your pants.

Wouldn't be the... What? What the hell did that mean?!
"N-no! Why would I?" It was a question that caught her off guard, causing her to look away from the nightmare demon. It didn't sound particularly sincere, which confused her. Did she? Well, it felt weird she guessed. The last time someone had held her hand was probably when she was too little to remember it. Maybe that's why she didn't want to let go on her own? Maybe. That could've been it... Maybe.
"That didn't even answer my question anyways..." She disregarded the cat comment with a huff. The ghoul knew it wasn't true. Probably just something he'd said to get under her skin. Again.
It did, however, seem like Riyo was slowing down considerably. "Titus, I can't walk that fast." Which was something she felt incredibly pathetic for saying. Whether she showed it or not, she was in pain, and it was getting worse with every step. "Just... Hold on for a second." Ooooh her ankle. Were her ankles bleeding? Ever so slightly, yes. It was hard to see though, considering the color of the shoes matched the crimson dripping out of them.

Titus acted like she hadn't said a word about him not answering her question...mostly because he still wasn't inclined to answer. He had noticed her slowing down though and finally halted when she decided to complain.
"Fine fine," Titus stood there and waited looking down at her awkward shoes. "You woman and your shoes. Why wear something that's going to pinch and rub and apparently cause damage," If that was in fact blood by her ankle and not a trick of the light. "When I could care less if your two or three inches taller."
Looking back just to be sure the demon didn't see the towering giant anywhere. The coast was clear for the time being. With that in mind Titus pointed to a nearby bench. "Sit down and take the stupid things off if you can't walk in them."

Jack dammit. Why wouldn't he say anything about her question? That was infuriating.
... Maybe that's what he wanted.
He wouldn't say because he wanted her to be infuriated.
Well he could go straight to hell!
If he was going to pretend he didn't hear it, Riyo was going to pretend that she didn't care if he did or not. It wasn't hard to do, considering shoes were at the forefront of her mind now.
"And I don't really care either. I've never worn heels before. They used to scare me as a kid." She wouldn't say why. Why was a very complicated answer, but instead of continuing that train of thought, the ghoul (carefully) marched herself over to the bench and had a seat.
It was a careful process, peeling the shoes off of her. She tried not to squint or flinch. To do so would give away just how much they hurt. Off with one. Ew. that didn't look very good. Off with the other. Oh jeez. If the shoes hadn't crippled her she would be surprised. "I guess I was never really cut out for this..." She mumbled, ears folding back as she looked at her mangled feet. It felt good to get the shoes off, but weird to sit them flat on the ground now. "I figured if I was gonna do something like this, even just once, I'd go all out." She regretted that a little now. "Oh well." Momentarily she leaned back in the bench and let her head droop over the back.
"Well I think you look wonderful."
Wait, what? Who? Huh? And suddenly there was a boil next to her, smiling with his arms resting on his knees. Gently his hands cradled his head as he apparently basked in her glory. How pale he was...
"Perhaps ravishing, even. A rose in a bed of thorns. A diamond in the rough." His black hair was spiked up. Leather jacket. Nose piercing. Riyo inwardly cringed, though she supposed if one looked past his cliche tastes, he might be considered handsome. Oh, and would you look at that? He even had sunglasses... Which he promptly put on.
"So radiant I need sunglasses." Yeah. She was sure he'd used these lines on plenty of women.
"Uh..." Oh, bet. Right. "Thank you?" She tried to smile, but in reality the ghoul knew full well he wanted something. She could practically smell it on h... Wait was he smelling her? He was, wasn't he? Well if that wasn't creepy...
"Do you need... Help with something?" Riyo asked reluctantly as she scooted to the other side of the bench. Not that it did her any good.
"Just the company of a lovely lady such as yourself."
... Did that count as being asked out? The demoness looked up at Titus quizzically.

Scared of shoes....Titus had nothing for that. It was probably the dumbest thing he had ever heard though why should he be surprised? The demon had walked into plenty of dreams with the oddest things. He once walked in on a dream where a ghoul was stuck in a tree and there was a tiny kitten at the base of it meowing at her. The ghoul was panicking so bad the kitten might as well have been a lion with blood dripping from its maw.
Titus thought about suggesting she stop in one of the gift stores to find something else to put on her feet but the sudden new voice had his head whipping around. Who was this a*****e?
Titus' brow quirked with annoyance. Just listen to this guy. He apparently thought himself hot s**t. Smooth talking jerk off. The sight of him pissed Titus off and the more words that poured from his mouth made the demon want to gag.
When Riyo finally looked toward him Titus had no idea what she wanted. He looked at her for a moment matching her quizzical look. It wasn't until a moment later that he realized she was silently asking him if that counted. To truly be an a*****e Titus would have shook his head. Technically he hadn't asked her out but the demon decided to be generous and gave a slight nod with a shrug. Sure, whatever, close enough he supposed. Might as well give her one. How lucky would she get by the end of the night anyway? Maybe this way they could move on and be done with this leather wearing broom head.

Hah. One point for her! Riyo couldn't help but smile a little at her success out of thin air. It made her feel great, but she was still downplaying it. "Ah, sorry. I've got other things I need to do." The demoness said softly before raising to her shaky feet. Damn, they were shaky. Note to self: Never wear heels like that again.
But the boil next to her never stopped smiling. The sunglasses might've done some good at hiding his intent. "Oh darling. I don't remember saying you had a choice." His hand reached out and grabbed Riyo's wrist before she could blink and pulled her back.
Riyo's proud face went from shocked to angry in mere seconds. Her free hand balled up into a fist and swiftly swung at him, but...
... He caught it? Without breaking a sweat! "Let go of me you s**t head." The feline hissed.
"This little kitty looks like she needs declawing." Even with the sunglasses on, Riyo could see him narrow his eyes. When he smiled, his teeth shone in the fleeting light.
Vampire. Jack. Damn. Vampire. Now Riyo knew why he'd shown up. "I swear to Jack if you don't let me go right now your dentist will have to get you fang dentures."
"C'mon. I just need you for a minute. It won't hurt. Much."
