"Oh, well, I'm not instituting a ban on all stupid s**t," he smiled weakly. Not like he felt like any now, but the joke came easy.
"Yeah. You got to tell your guys to buddy up. If they're both looking, maybe we'll get more teamwork and less charging in."
He made an exaggerated brrr at the blanket offer. "Please. It's ******** freezing in here."

"That's good. It'd be pretty hard to enforce, considering all the jokers around here." Jordan's smile came a little easier this time.
"In general, too," he said. "It gets messy when nobody knows what they're doing, and since we're not raw newbies any more, we can at least give the newer trainees some guidance on how not to be underfoot, right?"
"Right, I'll grab one." He hesitated a moment. "Do you want to move over to the rest tent or were you going to stay here?"

"I think...I think I oughta stay off my feet for now. I'll...join you in there in a little while," Harrison said.

"Okay," Jordan nodded. "Hang on, I'll be right back." He got up and went to bother one of the Life hunters for the location of a blanket, serenely ignoring the dirty look he got for the interruption.
He returned shortly with a blanket. Harrison was undoubtedly capable of arranging his own blanket, but Jordan ignored that and put it around Harrison's shoulders anyway, his hands lingering briefly. "Get some rest, okay?" he said.

The blanket made a world of difference. He reached to pull it shut, and his hand brushed Jordan's. He lengthened the contact, holding the hand under the blanket a little while before answering, "Yeah. ...Thanks."
He meant it. He'd be okay. He just needed a minute.

Jordan studied Harrison's face for a few moments, not sure what he was looking for, but reassured by what he saw; much of the odd, too-sharp hollow look had gone out of Harrison's eyes, replaced by simple exhaustion. "No problem," he answered, and let his hand rest in Harrison's a few more moments.
Then, a little reluctantly, he said, "I'd better go over to the other tent before I get yelled at for being in the way or something. See if I can get some sleep too." He stretched and cracked his knuckles. "Go to sleep or I'll sic Clarice on you again," he said lightly, and turned to go.

"You're not in the way," Harrison said, quiet, as Jordan moved back.
He arranged himself on the cot obediently. "Yeah, yeah. You too." All the overload had faded into a manageable anxiety, and at least in the infirmary there was a lot of noise. People noises. Moving around, talking, walking.
He had said he would stop by the rest area later, but he didn't know how well he could handle more rows of sleeping hunters. The only perk was the possibility of blanket-sharing. He'd just close his eyes a little while, he didn't have to stay long, just until... his phone was buzzing. That's right. Candace. He answered slowly and almost lazily, resting his head on his arm as he typed back the words,Eight sorry 2 hear that. any food is fine. He left the phone in front of him on the cot, and waiting for an answer, drifted off again.

Ryan didn't answer his last question, but instead waited until he answered it for himself. "He kind of just showed his anger more than others." He finally said, not going into details about the fresh bruise on his cheek. Instead he unrolled the bandages and tended to his own wounds. Luckily Wilson had already set to work on Dakota's injuries, saving him the trouble of tending to himself and the unconscious moon trainee.
"Yeah, I didn't have the bugs attention as much as some others did." He shrugged, tugging the bandage tight before he tore it. "I mostly defended, so they weren't as bothered about me--or at least not until around the time with..." His voice trailed off and he shook his head. "I didn't get hurt too bad." He said instead, finishing his work by tying the bandage in place and rolling his pant legs back down.
"Glad to hear your okay though. I don't have many friends here, so its good to know the few I have are still alive and kicking." He said, attempting a joke but instead ended up sighting and putting the roll of gauze away.
"Think we should get out of the way here?" He asked, looking around the small tent and the injured taking up most of the beds. The medical personal could probably do without them getting in the way.

He heard the muffled voices near him first, not sure how long he had been out. He waited a bit, slowly easing himself back into his body.
Chama's warmth filled his darkness, like a hug and he sighed.
"I didn't mean to...ignore you Chama, I am just...dealing with stuff...."
She flashed in front of him, again that warm feeling of an embrace as he opened his eyes.
It was....bright....He could tell from the voices that he was in the infirmary. He didn't move yet, letting the relization and memory fade back in before sighing. He turned his head to see Wilson and Ryan, too hunters he considered to be brothers sitting not to far off.
He grimaced at Ryan's bruising cheek before pushing himself up from the bed.
"Well, At least I know you can take a hit Ryan." He sighed again before looking down. "I'm sorry........" He rubbed his face and looked at the bandages all over him. He had been messed up hadn't he?
"Thanks for bringing me here..." He looked at Ryan and then to Wilson, "Hey Brother."
He reached for his jacket and grabbed his phone next. Molly would be worried and he had been rude to her.Lucyal Text to Molly: Sweet and Petite....Thank you for the help. I didn't mean to...I'm sorry Molly. Please be safe.

Bix felt his phone buzz and pulled it out of his pocket. He laughed a little, seeing it was Gale. He knew the other hunter was here in the infirmary as well. He'd passed the cot when he came in. "I'm gonna go see Gale. Someone help this guy!" Bix yelled to the Infirmary staff to help Tedan. Bix nodded to the girls and Before and headed, slowly, over to where Gale was. The albino picked up some bandages for himself and began to randomly bandage wounds on his limbs. He flopped down on a chair near Gale. "I'm here dude."

That was a nice hug. Once they were all released, Molly nodded her head to Bix, watching as he left to go see to Gale. She gave a nod to Before and Tori as well, before pausing as her phone went off. She blinked and checked it, and couldn’t help but smile as she read the text. Instead of replying though, she pocketed her phone and peered over the rows of cots until she caught sight of Dakota. Ah! He was sitting up! Molly kind of crept her way over to him silently, taking a route that was direct but round about, and once she was closer, she reached out and pulled on Dakota’s cheek like: “ Hey there.” She beamed brightly at him. “ How are your injuries?”

Just as quickly as she'd slipped in, Sasha slipped back out of the tent. It was apparent that things were covered here in the infirmary; perhaps she'd be of better use elsewhere.

Wilson nodded his head understandingly. “Yeah.” He applied disinfectant on what visible wounds Dakota had before he began to cover them with bandages. The man shot Ryan an amused look that appeared to be along the lines of You did not just make that joke, did you? Smiling, he shook his head and continued to patch up Dakota. “You should make some more friends. The other trainees are pretty funn—…” Wilson cut himself off as the thought struck him suddenly: would the others die soon as well? They would all die eventually. Would more friends just set themselves up for more hurt? “Probably. When Dakota wakes up will be a good time to leave, I think.”
Wilson grinned when Dakota began to mumble softly. Was he finally waking up? “Speak of the devil.” He patted Dakota on the shoulder. “Hey. Glad to see you’re awake.” As Molly came over to pinch Dakota’s cheek, he held back quiet laughter until someone called out his name. It sounded like Ami.
“What? My help?” He looked confused, but turned toward Ryan and Dakota to add, “Looks like I have to go. We should meet up again later, okay?”
A curious Wilson walked back toward Ami and Feng. His gaze constantly switched between the two. “Yeah? What does he need my help for?”
