Nightingale looked at him... and then began to almost SWELL with anger, anger taught of a righteous nurse of many generations before, as hands went to sides and she stared down upon the Wynaut even though it was bigger than herself, she spoke sternly and strongly, just as any nurse would to an unwilling patient, pointing and punctuating each word along with it!
[What if you don't?]
[Then soon you'll start feeling worse.]
[Soon you'll start to feel drowsy, and tired, and dizzy, then you'll be hunrgy, then begin to starve, little by little!]
[If you don't want to feel like this, and you DON'T want to feel worse, then you'll help us however you can so you can get better!]

"Wyyyyyyy."
(Okay ...Okay don't bite my head off)
The Wynaut would reply as he sat back ....as he shifts where he is now sitting, and he looks upwards at her. He wasn't sure what they had against naps and being lazy, but they didn't seem to be going away either.
"Naut, Wynaut?"
(So, what are your questions?)
The Wynaut finally gave her ...his full and uninvited attention.

Nightingale eased up, letting out a grateful sigh, bowing her head lightly there before looking back to the Wynaut. [Thank you for your attention.]
The Happiny waddled away quickly then returned quickly from Jasmine, depositing about a handful of food and water for it to take.
[We heard that this all started a week ago from the humans...]
[Three questions in all.]
[One, did anything strang happen a week ago that maybe the humans didn't notice?]
[Two, we need to find samples from the sickness, from plants and water, do you know any nearby waters that pokemon have learnt to stay away from?]
[And three... Do you know if there any Pokemon that have been eating the plants and drinking the food, but been alright?]
It was simple enough reasoning, look for a cause, look for a source, and look for any possible immunities...
[Regardless, you can have this food and water, it might help you stay better for a while eating this than anything else until we can figure out a way to cure everyone.]

The Wynaut sat up a bit .....as it crossed it's arms lightly. The pink pokemon saw the food, and water and still found this entire conversation a bother. Eyes rolling just a bit he would finally speak.
"Wynaut ...naut ...wyyy...naut..wynaut."
(I don't know anything about humans noticing or not, but, a week ago ....the murkrow ...black not pink like the ones that lived here suddenly arrived ....a whole flock of them.)
The Wynaut told her ...as he waves one arm in a gesture towards the sky.
"Ywynaut ....naut....Wynaut" (IF you are looking for tainted water that everyone stay away from ...try the water source to the east of this island. It's really bad there .....the sickness.)
He would look away. It would seem that if Jasmine was looking for her water sample she wasn't going to find it in this area or at least the best of it.
"Naut...Naut....Wynaut....naut."
(Predatory pokemon, he doesn't eat anything but red meat and drink blood ....he is the only pokemon I know of that isn't effectived by this plague)
The pokemon was literally answering those three questions, no more and no less. It was becoming quite an interesting conversation ....that reminded one of someone pulling out teeth ....one by one. He would then flop back down ...he had done his part.

Nightingale would listen in intently.... and although the Wynaut didn't react so favorably, even to help, it was still helpful nonetheless.
As he'd flop down, up she'd get and nod there to the Wynaut. [Thank you again for the help.]
And up she'd get, mulling it over...
A flock of black Murkrow on an island of pink pokémon... carriers of some sort... and a water source everyone was afraid of, it looked like the big answers would be on the other side of this island after all..
And danger.
A predator and flesh easter... no telling how big a meal they'd look to it.
~~~~~~~~
"The Murkrow?"
Jasmine stood there as Nightingale had relayed the tale to the others... the difficulty then of course came in trying to relate it all to Jasmine...
And so the girl had been tugged and pulled until she stopped... and now, Nightingale was indicating their most recent patient to them...
But Nightingale suddenly ran along Ironclaw's neck and DIVED into Jasmine's pouch, the girl struggling for balance as the Happiny rummaged around, before emerging again with some of her scrap material, a pink scrap, and a black one...
She held out the pink, and shook her head... then held up the black, nodding her head...
"Black Murkrow... a regular Murkrow?"
Nightingale nodded quickly with a collective agreement from the others, before waving her eyes wide...
"A big Murkrow-" Shake. "A lot of Murkrow?" Nod nod nod.
Jasmine pondered... she didn't get it immediately, there was a couple of ideas why Nightingale would tell her about it...
But then the Happiny leapt out, standing between two trees... one healthy... one, obviously not.
She waved her arms from one to the other, one, to the other...
"...A flock of Murkrow... regular Murkrow, they're what's making everything sick?"
Nightingale paused... they didn't KNOW per se, but it sounded like a good idea to follow as she'd nod.
"Alright..." Jasmine thought, then looked to the two trees.
"We'll see about finding these Murkrow if we can, just now... I think it's time we take that plant sample for Joy."
Nightingale heaved a sigh of relief... they got away with this one, but then again, it was harder to tell Jasmine the other warnings... they were headed east anyway, so they'd soon find water... but the predator...
Her eyes flung to the Murkrow bundled up on Ironclaw's back there... she was sitting prey, as weak and asleep as she was... and for all they knew, prime target worthy.
They'd have to stay on their toes...
As Jasmine moved to examine the trees... it was Nightingale that whispered to the Skarmory...
[You can use Stealth Rock... right?]
[Can you maybe set up one in that clearing... just in case?]
It paid after all to be careful...
"Now we just need to see how we get a sample here..." Jasmine mumbled meanwhile, examining the obviously more barren tree...
She wasn't going to get anything from them ....not a single berry was in bloom as the Wynaut seemed to have found some interest in the food at least. It was humbling chowing down on some pokemon food even as they went about their investigation.
Jasmine sighed as she looked over the tree, not even a leaf... the bark was likely dead already...
She didn't know much on trees, but they needed at least some vegetation to be able to call it a real sample of any kind as she shook her head and returning to the group...
"Wish there was someone working around here who could point us out..."
Nightingale peered at the Wynaut, and then quickly sighed alike Jasmine, she didn't imagine that going well herself, all they could do for now was go about and find whatever was on hand...
It would seem though that wasn't the only pokemon on hand ....as a shutter of branches a bit ahead of them would have them looking at another pokemon. Pink where it should be grey with it's tips of it's tails still white ....as the Minccino would stop and then look over it's own shoulder at them. She was thin, painfully so, with bits of blood running down it's nose ....as she held in her mouth something that would have gotten ...Jasmine attention immediately. A pink berry ...in her mouth, though it wasn't the fable apoicot that they were searching for ....as she stops and flicks her tail a bit before aiming for a higher branch.
IF the saw the movement, they might have found a solution to their problem, but if not ...they might have missed probably one of the most important clues to date.
It was almost impossible NOT to notice the pokémon.
Being as quiet as it was, six sets of eyes went up after the creature now moving from branch to branch, and it seemed the Minccino's fur wasn't the only thing that was pink...
An Apricot Berry!
Jasmine had to wonder if it was good fortune or not, especially since the Minccino was heading off with it in mouth!
"Wait! Hold up a second!"
...Well, Jasmine wasn't an expert in berries after all.
She looked aside to the Gligar currently sleeping on her leg, and the Purrloin now around her shoulders... "You guys, can you please go up after it, ask her about the berry!!"
A yip and a mewling noise before two pokémon rushed up, Claudandas leaping branch to branch like the Minccino, while the Gligar flew upward with Jasmine flinging her!
[Hey! Hang on a minute!!] The Gligar would holler, trying to dodge the branches.
[We need to ask you about that Berry, Miss!] The Purrloin would cry as well as he looked tot ry and catch up!
It would happen then all at once ....as the Minccino would suddenly bristle up. She hadn't expected to be seen nor attacked as her ears would go flat against her skull. She was afterall, still effected by the illness and the delusion were as strong with her as it was with other.
She saw them as a threat, and she saw that this threat was coming after her ....as she couldn't seem to understand words as she moved to attack them as she aimed her attack downwards with her tail slamming towards the Gligar as she used Pound.
Claudandas was well behind, the Gligar however, was far too close to get out of range of the Minccino here!
Lindbergh gave a half strangled cry as she folded wings and tried to fling herself down and out of the striking tail to dodge the attack!
However, another would come to her aid, and not the cat.
There, materialising in mid-air, came a ghostly figure, with a burst of flame igniting in his center, the shiny Lampent appeared, as Burnout now placed himself before the Minccino on any path toward the Gligar.
[Madam.]
Maybe Burnout couldn't stop the attack, but he could try and take it himself instead, stop the Minccino getting any further and look to subdue her!
It would work as the sudden appearance of the ghost would shock her as her pound would go through nothing. She couldn't injury a ghost type with normal type moves ....as the pokemon failed in her attack as she would catch the nearest limb with her fur standing out straight as he glares at the ghost with fear and anger in her eyes. THey had her, and she knew it ...as she moves backwards slowly in her own defense.
Whatever effect Burnout had had, it certainly seemed like he had made his mark, so terrified was she that the Minccino seemed ready to leap at a leaf falling!
[Go back to Jasmine now.] The Lampent stated. [I'll deal with this little one.]
[And flake like the nurse?] Lindbergh cackled, flexing muscles. [No chance!]
The little Gligar would grit teeth as armor would nearly crack, muscles redistributing... she wanted to up her strength... and for that, it needed a Power Trick!
Burnout however looked to the Minccino... he had to keep it hemmed in...
A clack sounded from him, down the housing of his flame would open from the glass dome, and roar into life, as his Heatwave fanned out, careful of the trees, but looking to try and lead the Minccino away from the others for the moment!
(That would have been a epic hit if that had hit)
Though the Minccino would leap up and over the waves of hit .....as he would aim his attack downwards at his opponent. Her entire body would seem to shimmer as she would race though in the opposite direction. She was going higher as she grabbed a branch overhead ....her growl clear as she went for the higher limb still.
Her pink coat flash as she would go for higher ground still.
((xD Sadly, that was not to be))
Up the Minccino climbed, and up craned Lindbergh and Burnout's looks as they followed her, ready for what was to come...
And then she Growled.
It was almost slightly anticlimactic, but of course, Minccino specialised in sound based attacks, while Lindbergh looked panicked, Burnout was placid enough... his attacks were based on special attacks rather than physical...
Maybe this was the opportune moment to attack, while it was stock still and launch its attack, the housing of his flame did not fix itself, but rather, it swivelled underneath his dome, his eyes fixed on the pink beast, before a blast of Heatwave went at it!
((Roll 1, Lindbergh's defense, Roll 2, Burnout's Heatwave counter))
((EDIT: 15, that's a Burn, isn't it? =O ))
