Bubba was a little startled by Marshall's enthusiasm to get him to try on clothes. He hurriedly grabbed as much as he could from Marshall as things were practically thrown at him. He giggled when Marshall directed him towards the dressing room. He pranced off and stopped right before he got to the dressing rooms in the back... His eye caught something that he just oddly felt compelled to try on...and make sure he flaunted himself in front of Marshall. He grinned and glanced back to make sure Marshall wasn't looking at him--he had apprently seen one of his friends and had stopped to talk--and grabbed his size off of the rack. He hurried in the dressing room and began trying on the clothes Marshall apparently really wanted him to wear.

Three outfits later, Bubba was looking at himself in the mirror, wearing the pants that Marshall didn't know he brought in with him. He turned around, blushing a little at just how great they made his a** look. They were black and completely feaux leather that was slightly stretchy and smooth. It hugged his legs very well, and he had to admit they made him look pretty sexy. He pulled on one of the shirts Marshall had thrown at him as well just to have a top on and poked his head out of the dressing room. "Okay, I have one more that I want to show you. Just tell me honest if I should get them or not, okay?" he said before stepping completely out of the dressing room and showing Marshall the pants, looking up at his face to see his reaction to them. "I saw them on the way over here and Just...kind of felt like I needed to put them on, so... How do I look?" He spun around slowly, twisting his head as he did so he could see Marshall's face, a small smile on his own.

Bubba blushed but couln't help the grin from the look on Marshall's face. He was dark red and Bubba could feel his gaze trailing lines of fire over his skin. It made him feel good--energized and confident. He giggled a little and went to stand in front of the dressing room door to see himself in the mirror. He swiveled, looking at his a** in the pants again. "So...I should get them then?" he asked just to make sure. Without waiting for an answer, he entered the small room again and closed the door, quickly putting on his regular clothes back on. He had a pretty good idea of what Marshall felt towards him now... He at least thought he was good-looking. Maybe even a crush since he got a kiss on the forehead from him.

Around an hour later, Bubba found himself sitting in the food court with Marshall, both having food in front of them. "So...before we leave...can we take a picture together? I mean, I know I've been taking pictures all day, but there's a photo booth around here somewhere. I have some cash on me, so I can pay for it..," he said a little shyly, not knowing what to expect as an answer from him. He took a bite of his sweet and sour chicken and smiled cutely over at Marshall. How things were going, it was looking spectacular for the possibility of the two of them maybe getting together as a couple and going on a proclaimed date. Though, this kind of felt like one... Bubba mused to himself, sipping the pink lemonade he had.

Bubba had a moment to smile happily to himself when Marshall got up to throw his food away. He began to imagine the silly faces they would make until Marshall's voice snapped him out of it. He was so lost in his own world, that when he heard "when do you want to do it?" he thought do it and blushed dark red, pulling a confused face. "Wh-What?" he squeaked...and then he realized he was talking about the photo booth. "O-Oh! Uhm, I guess whenever. We can go do it now, if you want," he told him, closing the box's lid and standing. He slid his shopping bags on his arms before lifting the box of food and his pink lemonade into his hand. He smiled at Marshall and waited for him to gather his things as well before he headed out into the mall in search of the photo booth. He knew it was close, but wasn't exactly sure where... "A-ha! There it is!" he said happily and pranced off towards it, letting Marshall follow behind at his own pace. He peeked inside, smiling when no one was occupying the booth. He dumped all of his bags onto the floor of the small area and sat down, poking his head out of the curtain and giggling a "hurry up!" to him before disappearing inside. He looked at all of the options, easily inserting his money for two copies of the reel of photos and entering everything. He waited for Marshall to get in there and get situated, not pressing the button to start the timer to take the eight photos it allowed.

Bubba blushed darkly when Marshall pressed his face against his and stuck his tongue out. He gave only a cute smile for that picture. When Marshall pulled away, Bubba grinned big and snatched the glasses off of his face and put them on himself. He stuck his tongue out at the "vampire" and made "moose horns" and wiggling his fingers at him to mock him. After Marshall pulled a face and the picture was taken, Bubba took the glasses off and slid them back onto Marshall's face, getting caught in his eyes in the process. He hadn't even realized how close taking the photos had gotten to each other. Their eyes locked and Bubba couldn't breathe, hands still frozen beside Marshall's face where his fingers rested on the frames of his glasses. He wasn't aware that their sixth picture was taken of them staring into each others' eyes. He was blown away into his own world where there was only he and Marshall and no one else anywhere.

Bubba felt a whirl of butterflies suddenly appear in his stomach when Marshall spoke. His breath caught in his throat. He had waited for five-plus years for this... This moment he had waited so long for... His breath was caught in his throat as he watched Marshall lean forward towards him. Yes! Yes, dammit! Say it! His composure crumbled, and instead of saying "yes" he whimpered out a pathetic, "Please..." He leaned up, lips hovering right before touching Marshall's. He let out a shaky breath and just let go, finally feeling his lips touch Marshall's. He felt tears well up in his eyes from how wonderful it felt to finally kiss the boy he'd loved for years. Granted, it wasn't his first kiss, but it might as well have been. His hands gripped at the back of Marshall's head, deftly running his fingers through the soft strands there as a tear rolled down his cheek. He faintly noticed a flash from behind his eyelids, but thought nothing of it. All he could think of was the feel of his lips on Marshall's and vice-versa. Slowly, reluctantly, some time later, Bubba slowly detached from the kiss and looked up into Marshall's eyes happily, a bright, relieved smile on his lips. He felt Marshall's forehead bump against his own as they got lost in each others' eyes once again, the strawberry-blond giggling giddily to himself at the turn of events. That kiss was so much more than he had imagined... It was amazing.

Bubba's face was flushed deep red as he grabbed his bags and food and the pictures. He looked them over, completely overjoyed to see the two kiss. At Marshall's comment, Bubba huffed and put his hand on his hip as he looked at him. "You know, if you didn't want to take these, you could have just said so," he pouted and slid the set of pictures in one of his bags. At Marshall's mention of dinner and a movie, Bubba frowned a little and pulled out his phone, checking the time. "I would love to, Marshall. I really, really would, but...Mom doesn't know I'm out and she'll probably want to eat dinner together... Can I take a rain-check on it? I...I could stay the night after your birthday party or something," he suggested almost desperately. "I can just tell Mom it's an overnight party, but...it is a school night... I don't know..." He seemed to be searching his mind for some time soon it could happen. He almost looked on the verge of tears from desperately wanting to spend time with him but, he couldn't because of his mother.

Bubba frowned at the look on Marshall's face when he said he couldn't come over for dinner and a movie. He wanted to go over probably as much as Marshall wanted him to... He smiled a little, though, when Marshall did. He rubbed his nose against Marshall's slightly while their faces were close. His stomach leaped in his stomach when he kissed his forehead and cheek. Then he grabbed his hand and Bubba just melted. This was perfect. It was just like he imagined it...but better because it was actually happening. He walked along happily, hand intertwined with Marshall's. As they made it out to his motorcycle, Bubba watched Marshall unlock the saddlebags on his bike so they could put their bags in it. "Hey...Marshall?" he began softly. "Can this be considered a date..?" he asked timidly, looking up at the dark-haired male hopefully. He had basically been thinking of it that way the whole day, so he hoped Marshall thought that way, too.
