~prior to goddesses arrival~

Jason listened to Erynion and he tensed at the touch. He listened to him. Tears trailed his cheeks.

"Sir...it isn't that I want them to or her. Sir it isn't. I selfishly and with dark thoughts don't want them to. I don't want to let her see them. I cruelly don't wish to allow her near them. Anywhere with a thirty foot pole or the space from here to moon. Yet I cannot in good consciousness say ill of her nor express such evil selfish desires around the children. I do not wish to provide an ill example for them. I want them to know that you shouldn't hate on or judge others or be influenced by how someone else feels.

Persnally I don't wish to. I don't wish to let her near them or see them. I don't wish her to have any part of their life. The man selfishly and cruelly does not wish that devil of a woman near my precious treasures. Yet the parent within me says that I can't allow personal thoughts and desires to affect my children. I can't let them hear me speak ill of her for that will set the wrong example. I can't influence my babies with how I feel. Yet I dont' think well of her yet...a parent should try to make things work even when the man knows its hopeless and foolish.

I don't wish it but what example would I set if I speak ill and harsh cold words to them about their mother? It would teach them something wrong and it would trickle into their interactions with others...I can't do that. So I go against the will of the man and instincts trying to do right because she would take them. She would have them taken from me...due to health and the fact I had no roof over their heads. Due to no money for food so I make sure they never hunger. no money for insurance but I keep them never sick and well. Never injured. Yet by legal rules custody can be take based on the laws version of what is best for children.

She can provide a roof over their heads, three meals a day, new clothes, education, a bed to sleep in. She has the money and the influence...so to prevent it I have to try and give her that stupid doubt. I can't let her get them taken for she will surely kill them. I chose them over her and they look more like me than her...so she hates them. She tried to kill them when they weren't even a year old...she was trying to drown them. I saved them. They were fine.

She tried to kill them and I went against my nature. I went against what is morally right and sinned. It was the first time I showed aggression or violence. The memory makes me sick but to save them I shoved her and I hit a woman to redirect her anger and allow me time to save them. I protected them with my very being but the memory of such a deed makes me ill."

He panted and breathed heavily. His chest rose and fell as he cried. Revealing things he hid from his children. Then Erynion hit a cord and for a moment he sat up and had a firey expression over his lips. He spoke sternly and with a serious fire. The father within him sparked to life.

"They don't lack in love! They don't lack in knowing how special and smart and valuable they are. They will never be broken or abused nor suffer the way I have. They have never not had extreme love. I gave them all the love of my very being. Of the heavens. They are the one area that keeps life not existance. They have never doubted their love. I can't teach them well as I don't know that much except life. I know some things. I can't teach them everywhere. A place to sleep wasn't always available.

Yet they were never cold. They were never hungry. The rest of what you say is true. I took the harm she may have intended them. I was nearly beaten to death because I protected them. I have suffered lashings so they will never be broken or abused. They have worth whereas the only place I am of worth and have life and use is being a father. I have gone without food and new clothes to make sure they were always dressed. That they never hungered or sick or injured."

He deflatted afterwards. Heavy breaths in his chest. He coughed up a bit of blood and held his chest with one hand. That expression fell and he listened to him.

"I don't know what is in that book. I never saw the book. I don't care what is in the book. I don't . My children re all that matters to me. I don't put them in danger...I do what I had to in order to make sure she couldn't kill them. You don't know all the facts...they are hybrids too. I had to Erynion...I had to go against the not doing in order to make sure she could never have them. That they could live to see the morrow and never suffer the violence and abuse. Erynion it was the best decision despite feelings and judgment to keep them alive and safe and...and...childlike. To not have them grow up...I don't expect you to understand. I don't...but I did it because the alternative was more dangerous. Can't you see that?"

He silently cried as the sudden appearance of the woman he screamed. Bolting as his coughed and started to have the issues with his heart. He bolted into the closet and hid. Turning into a quivering ball and shaking hard. He coughed and went through the issues of the heart attack. Blood left his eyes as he started trying to heal himself. Whimpering and flashing back. Shaking as he muttered and pleaded. Landing on his side and curled up tightly.

Erynion rolled his eyes at the goddess. "I have not seen your child all day, I have had other matters as well as other students to tend to. As far as I know the boy is safe within school grounds, as such is deemed by the Seelie and Unseelie courts. The grounds are sealed as best as they can be, if the Fae are doing something you know I can't interfere. That's the rules." He said as he laid a hand gently on Myxis head. He watched Luka with amusement in his eyes as he covered up the goddess with a blanket.

Castian darted into the room, a look of panic across his face. "Father, something has happened in the school. I'm going to go check it out, please stay here." He said before leaving the house in a flurry of magical energy.

Erynion blinked at his sons sudden departure. "Oh my...what is going on lately?"

Myxi and Luka stood side by side with each other. They didn't know but they looked at the woman.Myxi lifted her gaze from hidden in Erynion's side as she looked up at him and smiled shyly. Her eyes watched the woman's interactions with Luka and the others. She was the observer...the eyes. Luka was the actions and the outspoken.Luka looked at him. "Daddy taught me and Myxi well." He said. Looking at Othello and grinned. Clapping his hands nad thumbs upped him. "There you go Mr. Othello. You is on your way to better now." He said with a grin. He looked at them and tilted his head. THen shrugged it off.

Othellion Skyrisen

Othello sighed at the female before flinching. The Pegasus walked briskly to the open window, he placed a hand on the sill before his silver eyes narrowed, "Yolen...oh dear. Looks like one of Arion's sons came here without permission." he looked back to the headmaster, "Nothing to worry yourself with...the eldest of Arion's sons is a honorable heir to his mother's tribe."

the Goddess blinked then smiled warmly, "Oh...there's Death. I was wondering how he was...as for my child he is rapidly approaching. One of the snake children and a wild one is with him. I shall depart." she took the blanket from around her shoulders. Walking forward to wrap it around little Myxi before turning to the open window.

Othello stepped back with a bow as the Goddess started to walk out. She looked back, "Erynion, you take care child."

(Goddess exits)

Evykor looks at Cassius and shrugs, grinning. "Fae have wonderful stamina and recovery speed, didn't you know?" He asks. Or at least, he did, which to him meant all fae. "I'm Evykor, and why would I stay to watch family drama? Drama's only fun if you're causing it and out of the way to watch during it."

He looks over at Neo, wondering if the boy was okay. He had let him take over all the pain again once he had fallen asleep. He hopes he'll be able to deal with it.
