Hearing axel's response the redhead pouted quite displeased to hear it.

Melani demanded like a spoiled child, not knowing rage was building up in her because of the madness that manated from both his partner and the mysterious shape shifting threats.

Heh, gotcha. How'd you like tha-- Suddenly the creature was next his the monk's head and sending a fist straight at him. Apparently, he didn't mind the cut the mystic gave him, which very nearly took off the furry's ear.
Illo took a hit to the chest and bounced up in the air a bit. He was able to use his chi to cushion some of the impact. He sent a pulse of psychic energy out around him to give him a buffer while he floated back and up a little. He stayed up for a second.

Melani inspected the area, in a futile attempt to find her adorable friend. "What have you done with Susu? >. <" The redhead demanded Kyubey, being Susu the nickname she gave the adorable creature, not knowing his real name. The crack on her soul seemed to be releasing a strange energy as the blade sharpened.
"Melani, it's still Suzy or whatever you call him!" Axel yelled at her from behind Kyubey, leaping off a rock and trying to hold him in a full nelson. He did not notice the crack in Melani's soul, or perhaps didn't care, and gave no indication of noticing it.

While the monk waited for an answer, Melani continued to rage on the metamorphic nature of their combatant, and Axel decided to throw himself into the... Frey (Teehee). This pleased the monk on some level, but he wanted a more serious sparring partner. He could sense a hidden level of strength beneath the twisted exterior of Kyubey, but couldn't yet grasp the nuances of his soul.
If you're going to spar, you have to more than just stand there, Illo said with a sigh. This is getting boring. Let's go, Melani. With that the monk started to float up to where Abel was. He called out to the blue armored man. Hello! You seem strong... Mind sparring with me for a while?

"How about this for boring? It's you guys fault for caring about these weak humans and this place. So, why bother having it? With his arms crossed, Abel watched the female fox woman as she caught the young boy, before he hit the ground. He would then watch as Ren brutally and mercilessly slaughtered the young boy. Hearing the boy's scream and watching as the blood flowed from his now wrecked and dismembered body, Abel had not hint of emotion. Most people watching the scene would find it horrible and downright cruel, however, Abel, being the demon that he is, has committed far more disturbing things. Compared to this little scene, it was nothing. As she absorbed the boy's soul and displayed an overwhelming power, so much so, that it even seemed to surpass that of his, Abel did seem bothered by it. Ren of all people should have known that Abel isn't even using a quarter of his true powers. While she had to resort to something so cheap as absorbing her partner's soul, to gain more power, Abel did no such thing, so of course it would appear as though her power was greater then his, but as the saying goes, appearances can be deceiving. As Ren then parted, Abel only blinked his eyes, as if her presence meant absolutely nothing to him at the moment.
After Ren had departed all of the others there, were put on notice and seemed like they were finally ready to fight. As proof of this, Kyubey would even reveal his true form, he was ready to fight as well. For the first hour or so, Abel would remain where he was and merely observe the others as they went up against Kyubey, a being whose strength is a little lower than his own, but still quite the formidable foe. Abel was just about to join into the fight, until Illo and his weapon partner, floated up towards him, asking if he would mind sparring. Looking over the duo, Abel managed to accurately access their level and skills, just by the brief exchange between them and Kyubey, while it appeared they were hiding some strange power, it still didn't faze Abel. Uncrossing his arms, Abel would let out a small sigh, "So be it, but only for an hour or so." Before taking an interesting martial arts stance, Abel looked down at Kyubey, "Kyubey, enough games. Lets at least give them a good show."

The redhead frowned at her partner's peaceful manners while politely asking for a duel. "What's wrong with you? don't you see they have kidnaped susu and Abel chan? oh no, they want Axel as well" Said the redhead as she observed Kyubey taking on the lone weapon. "What kind of monk leaves a weapon to his fate? I thought you told me you were like superman or something. Can't you wield two weapons at once?" Melani questioned Illo as Abel seemed to accept the duel and Kyubey to be tired of playing games. The weapon's souls bursted with energy above her usual frequency. Still, nothing outstanding as the monk of the furry deities but compared to her usual status she did quite acomplish something. "C'mon let's get them!" Without knowing it, the weapon was being affected by the meister's powerful aura and so the crack was begging to open wider.

Alright!! You won't be disappointed, I promise. The monk was beaming at the chance to have at Abel. Then again, his weapon was making sense. He couldn't just leave Axel there to fend for himself. You're right... Why fight with one weapon when I can use two? Who knows, maybe I'll just take both of them on. It'd be fair, right? Clearly, the monk was still having fun with the idea of a good fight. He teleported over to Axel. It's time to fight. Illo said as he took hold of the weapon's hand.
A smile went to Axel's lips as Illo Appeared next to him. With his left hand, he reached for the monk, but with his right, He aimed an open palm towards Kyubey and himself. In a flash of light. The blade of his Naginata Form extended at such an accelerated rate, it was only inches from Kyubey in the blink of an eye. "I can... extend it... even further..." he said mischieviously. But instead, he took full form., the pole the only thing both Kyubey and Illo held onto now.

Heh, not bad. The monk smirked a little at the abilities of Axel. [color-orange]It's been a while since I've handled one of these. I hope I'm not too rusty, I wouldn't want to disap--- Illo was cut off by the energy surging from Kyubey. An outrageously large power ball had formed over the city. It appeared the monk was a bit outclassed, but that wouldn't stop him from giving them a good match. He still had a ways to go as far as powering up, so wasn't too worrying. Still, this was a bit more serious than he'd bargained for.
You'll go through with it, then? Are you asking for a match with me? The monk asked as he turned to face Kyubey.
