Instead of trying to figure out how to answer more questions, the shadow creature opened up a dark portal below Cain that was big enough to fall through. He was sending him back to the couch and if Cain was fast he could avoid the portal entirely. It was his way of saying that he doesn't need from him and was already walking out of the bedroom part of the dorm room.

The portal closed on its own, the shadow paying attention to Cain after the older male returns make to his seat. Would be a bad idea for it to leave the dorm room and it doesn't plan on doing that. It would around for a bit before staying in the bathroom. Since there was no threat to worry about the transformation shifted back to Trigger while it was in the bathroom and Trigger wouldn't know what had happen while he was unconscious.

Trigger came to on the bathroom floor and confused on how he got there. He was unaware of what happened to him while he was asleep, but he was relieved not to wake up in an unfamiliar place again. Since he was in the bathroom with his shoes off and he did say he was going to shower after his nap he figured he could do it now. He was a little sleepy still, but a quick shower should wake him up.

Trigger closed the bathroom door quietly then turned on the water for the shower. He took off his clothes while he waits for the water to warm up. He watched the water for a moment feeling a little nervous about taking what could be his first shower in his lifetime by himself. Trigger took it one step at a time by letting one limb at a time become wet then his hair last. Once he has adjusted to the water he began to wash his body. In the middle of the washing he started crying again because he knows the only way to see his family is through his memories which he has a hard time freely accessing. At least Cain won't have to see him like this again and he made sure he was done crying by the time he was finished with showering in the bathroom.

Trigger moved some wet hair around on his hair so he can see what he was doing. He grabs a dry towel and dries off his body and most of his hair until it's just damp. He picked up his clothes and put them on before leaving the before then walked to the spare bed to put on his shoes. He didn't know what Cain was doing in the living room part of the dorm, but he wasn't going to ask because it would interrupt with whatever he was doing. Trigger locates the stapled stacks of paper then starts going over the information over again.

Trigger read over the papers twice and by the time he had done that an hour had passed by. He set down the stapled papers on nearest night stand after standing up. Trigger felt bored and tired, but he didn't want to try to go back to sleep in fear of having another nightmare and waking up someplace again. He wondered into the living room area where Cain was sleeping on the couch. He stood to the side of it watching and wondering what it would be like to enjoy a good rest as his friend is having right now.

Trigger looked a little worried when he had heard Cain groan then watched him suddenly wake up. He was wondering if it was because he rolled over to his left side where the old burns are. "I suppose it was okay" he said and decides not to mention he cried most of the time he was in the shower. "Are you feeling alright, Cain?" he asked him.

Trigger listens to Cain response to question of if he was feeling alright. He was going to take his word and allow the subject to change. "Um, okay" he replied to the offer. "Is it truth or fiction?" he asked thinking it might be like books, but with sounds and movement.
