the gothic beauty 2 Adina Reindheart The prince shrugged when Klaus rejected the offer of having his own rooms. It was the man's choice and while he didn't understand it he wasn't going to force the other to stay in another room after he already had him move into this one. When Klaus mentioned starting the lessons he looked at the man for a moment. "While I would like to start right away, I don't want to risk injuring you any more then you already are. We can start my lessons when you are better. Right now, we can start your lessons." He smirked and got up going to his study. "Well then, come with me." He said before sitting in a comfortable chair next to a desk. He had a few of his old writing lessons in there still and he pulled them out. "The first thing we are going to do is learn the letters. It isn't that hard to do thankfully."

Klaus Leben Klaus smiled a bit. He wished Adina would stop worrying about him. An injured rib is nothing compared to the military training and the torture in prison he went through. But, he wasn't going to say anything about it. It would just be a waste of effort. Following Adina, not really looking forward to his lesson because it was embarrassing that he couldn't read, Klaus kept his gaze down like he was a kid being sent to the corner. The soldier sat next to Adina, watching as he pulled out lesson material. This is ridiculous. Hm? Klaus looked at the material. He didn't know how to read, but these letters were different than tbe letters of his country. "Foreign letters. Great...." Adina's letters gave him a headache to look at, and the lesson hadn't even started yet. These were going to be long and tedious lesson.

Adina Reindheart Adina looked at Klaus for a moment before pointing to the first letter and saying its sound and name. He did this several times with the alphabet until he felt Klaus had it down. Smiling Adina looked at his knight proud that he had the patients to teach the man, and that the other didn't get as frustrated as he thought. "I think that is good for today. Perhaps we can go swimming later, unless you would like something else for a job well done."

Klaus Leben Klaus wasn't liking this. He knew he shouldn't have agreed to this. The lesson was frustrating, but he withheld the urge to kill something well. At the very least, no one was around to tease him about it later and he managed to pass this lesson. When it was over, Klaus let his head fall onto the desk and he slumped miserably. "I'm making you run laps around the castle for a week...." He glanced up at Adina when he spoke about swimming or some other award. Was he tryig to get in bed with him, or was that an honest and pure question? It was hard to tell. Klaus wouldn't deny that, physically, Adina was a gorgeous individual. But, he wasn't sure if he'd ever consider getting into bed with anyone willingly again. The last time he had, it caused problems Klaus wasn't able to fix. "I don't need anything but a headache-free mind."

Adina Reindheart Adina paled at the threat. The castle was huge there was no way he could run around the whole thing without difficulty. "Your not serious are you? The lesson couldn't have been that bad." Seeing Klaus lift his head at the swimming invitation he looked away. "Im not trying to get you into bed if that is what your thinking. I promised I wouldn't sleep around remember? That includes with you. I just thought it would be a pleasant experience." The other probably thought he was disgusting anyways for sleeping with so many different men. He couldn't help it, bedding those men had filled a void at least for awhile. "Well, then why don't I call the doctor again, Im sure he has something for your headache. He has treated plenty of hangovers over the years, those are virtually similar from what I understand."

Klaus Leben Klaus shrugged. He didn't care if he called the doctor. Now he was just depressed. He had to go wonder what Adina meant? Now he couldn't get his mind off the topic. Shaking his head, he sighed. "...You've never had a hangover, have you? You're much too young to drink." Klaus sat up, his elbows resting on his thighs. "No, I wasn't serious. But, you will be spending a lot of time running. The techniques we use in my country are mostly centered around agility. You'll need to learn to control your breathing."

Adina Reindheart "I have plenty of endurance Klaus. That isn't the issue, its that the castle is large and it would take days just to run around it once." Okay so maybe it wouldn't take days, but it would take far longer then one would like to run. "As for the hangover, no I haven't had one, I just know the doctor has treated my parents for them after a party. I never saw the point in drinking so much you don't have any sense left. Its a good way to get yourself killed if you ask me." At least he had some idea of what he should do as a prince and keeping a level head about him was important. "Are there aother ways to work on agility? I know we train the horses with various techniques, perhaps some of those would work on people as well."

Klaus Leben He made it sound like an impossible feat. "Nonsense. A castle this size would only take a few hours to a day to run around. Guess it depends on the person." He smiled at Adina before listening to his explanation on hangovers. Well, that was true. A king and queen who drinks their senses away actually deserved to be assassinated in his opinion. "What? You plan on jumping over poles? Horses and people are different. Leave those techniques to the animals. If I'm going to train you, then you'll get the same training I had....How good are you with crawling in mud and climbing ropes?"the gothic beauty 2 I imagine Adina's military based more on strategy. I don't know why. Just seems like the kind of country he comes from. XD

Adina Reindheart "Ropes I can do, I had to find a way to get out of the palace some times. The mud thing I don't know. Ive never been one to get dirty, but Im sure if it is to learn I can do it." He said looking at the other, sure horses jumped over poles, but they also used pools to strengthen muscles and get them to be faster. "Just what did you have in mind for this training? Should we start today? You don't have to do any of the actual work, just direct me and I will obey your orders." He was going to obey the other so he could learn just how to fight like the other man. His own training was more on strategy and not actual fighting skills.

Klaus Leben Klaus thought. There wasn't a course set up. "We can start your training by running. Sneaking around and a lot of...intimacy isn't training. I trained by running until my lungs were ready to burst from the pain. You'll need to run passed that, and learn to control your breathing. Like I said, you'll be going through the same routine as I did." Mostly. He wasn't going to give him a puppy to raise just to kill it as a part of his training. Adina didn't need that part of the training.the gothic beauty 2 I thought I had posted and was waiting on you....I'm a dunce.

Adina Reindheart So, what he had been doing before really was of no use? He thought stamina was stamina, but apparently he didn't really know what he was doing, but that was obvious as he asked to be taught by Klaus. When he heard how the man had trained he paled slightly but figured he would end up being worked up to that point. He couldn't be exhausted at the end of a training session if he was going to keep up his royal duties as well. "So, how long did it take you to master all of this training you had to do? Im guessing your not in top form due to spending time in the dungeons, but you still are in pretty good shape." He wasn't sure why he was asking that but he was curious about the man and as such he was going to try and find out more about him. So far he didn't know much, but what he did know made him feel a bit closer to the man that was now his guard.

Klaus Leben Klaus thought. How long did he train before he got to that point? "About three months, I think. I don't know." His years of training were a blur. The same thing all day, everyday.

Adina Reindheart Three months?! Wow, Adina thought that maybe it had taken less time to achieve the running training. He had figured completing his military training had taken longer then that though, as Adina was still working on learning everything about the military in his own kingdom. "I guess you didn't do much else besides your training either. I doubt Ill be able to complete anything in that amount of time, but I will give it my all."

Klaus Leben He listened to Adina and crossed his arms. "Pretty much. Training, training, and more training. My country's military is brutal. I watched several of my fellow recruits be killed for falling behind. Hell, one guy stumbled on a stone and was executed before he could regain his composure. He was...thirteen, I think." Klaus had felt pity for them before, but as the years went by, he learned to ignore that feeling. It only got in the way, and raised the risk of his own screw ups. "It's funny. More than three hundred kids are brought in each year, and out of that batch, nearly all of them are killed during the first month of training. On average, only about fifty soldiers actually make it through training. The smallest group to graduate consisted of ten soldiers. As cruel as it sounds, I'm glad it was the others that screwed up. Better them than me." That made him sick to his stomach to admit, but it was the truth. He wouldn't have changed things at all, because he had made it through. Klaus just wished he could have remembered the names of those who didn't, or at least given them graves. "...Anyway, you'll do fine. I'm not going to be that cruel. If you screw up, I'll just add mkre time to your training."the gothic beauty 2 i thought you said you were still interested in this...?

Adina Reindheart Adina paled when he heard that boys were killed during training just because they screwed up. Sure in the battlefield if you messed up it would cost you your life, but not in training! "That's wrong, how can they kill boys that have never witnessed a day of battle? Just because they mess up during training it isn't right to do so." He said shaking his head. He was a bit shocked at Klaus for saying he was happy that other people were killed, sure he understood it meant that he wasn't killed instead. "Oh great, at least I have that to look forward too." He was being a bit sarcastic before he let out a sigh and went over to the man before putting his arms around his waist. "Im sorry that your childhood was hard Klaus." He said after a moment.
