Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin looked away from her. He didn't want to talk...think...anymore. He heard Vladimir, but the vampire just pissed him off. Where the hell did he still gather his hatred for him? Alvin had literally just lost everything to get Valentina back to him and Sal. You'd think that would have earned him some trust with the guy. If he hated Alvin so much, he should've just left him in Arabor or killed him instead of helping him. The teen wasn't going to work to gain Vladimir's trust if he hadn't already established any. He didn't want it, and didn't care if Vladimir liked him or not. Sal sighed and took Vlad's hand. "You're treating him like a criminal after he did so much to bring Tina back. Have some faith in the poor boy, or at least more sympathy. You of all people should know what he's going through right now, being betrayed by someone he thought he could trust." Unlike Vlad, Sal wasn't going to make Alvin a prisoner. No. Sal was going to make their castle as much of a home as it could be for the teen. Looking back at Tina and Alvin, the merman smiled. "I think the three of us should go shopping tomorrow. Alvin will need to personalize his room, and he'll need some clothes. What do you two think?"

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina glared at her father knowing he could see her in the mirror and she wanted him to know she wasn't happy with how he was treating Alvin. She was happy that her mother was at least a bit nicer to the guy that had rescued her. "Thank you mommy(?) At least you seem to understand this situation though daddy should as well." She brightened a bit when Sal suggested they go shopping. "That sounds like a good idea. He could stay in the red room for now, until we find one he likes." She said smiling as she looked to Alvin once more. "Don't worry about daddy, he's just being a grump right now." Vlad let out a huff of air and looked at Tina then Sal. He wasn't going to hear the end of this was he? "I don't trust humans at all. Even those that help my family, and I have reason not to trust them easily. Living as long as I have being hunted by them wont change how I feel. I know it isn't right that I am treating him in such a way, but I cant change suddenly." He wanted to at least let them know he would try to be open about having Alvin stay there with them.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin didn't really want to go shopping with them, but he figured he may as well. Somehow, the teen felt he didn't really have a choice. Sal sounded like they were going whether he wanted to or not. Listening to Vladimir, the teen let out a scoff. "You know, I'm sick of your crap. What the hell did I do to you? I could have just left your precious daughter in that tank to be a sideshow, but I didn't. Some gratitude and a little trust wouldn't kill you."the gothic beauty 2 Aw! I hoped she'd call him Mama! XD

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "Just ignore him Alvin. it seems he isn't as feeling as some would think." Tina said looking away from her father and back to Alvin. Vlad looked in the back and shook his head. "Your right, I should give you a bit more trust then I do, but at the same time, I have been fooled by others doing similar things in the past. I am grateful that you brought my daughter back to me but it will take time to fully trust you. After all your still a teen male." Yes he knew this really had nothing to do with it, but this would be the first time Tina had been with a male besides her parents and he was sure that Alvin hadn't been allowed to date anyone before. Put those two together, he was sure something might happen between them and he wasn't ready to let his little girl grow up just yet. "As for not killing me, I was made into a vampire by my closest friend. My brother and lover decided they wanted the throne. They made me this creature and tried to take control of the country. Needless to say that didn't last long. So, I don't think trust is going to happen easily."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin looked away again. That was his problem? "Go to Hell. I don't even know Valentina, and I'm certainly not interested in her." He wasn't staying in that castle with Vladimir. Valentina and Sal were just going to have to deal with it. Alvin would rather die than live under the same roof as the vampire that wanted him dead. Listening to him as he spoke again, Alvin's eye twitched. "I don't give two hoots about your sob story. If you're expecting me to feel bad and put up with your trust issues because of something that happened to you ages ago, you can forget it."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Valentina heard what Alvin said and while she wasn't surprised she was a bit hurt by how quickly he dismissed being interested in her. She didn't look at him but at her parents and gained control of her own emotions. Vlad didn't seem phased at all by this. If anything he was happy to drive the male away from them. "I don't plan on having your pity boy. I don't want it nor do I need it. I also don't plan on trusting humans no matter who they are. After all, you are frail and will eventually die. What is the point of being friends with such beings?" ((Vlad is being an a**, but I feel that its two seme's butting heads. I feel bad for Alvin and Tina though.))

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin noticed the change in Valentina's expression. Did he care? Not entirely. Right now, he felt like he should be blaming her for everything in his life falling apart. He didn't, of course, knowing it wasn't her fault. "Why don't you just shut up and go--" Sal siddenly let out a screech that could have split the teen's skull, and he covered his ears until the noise stopped. "That is enough, both of you! One more hateful word out of either of you, and you'll both receive a stern lecture until your ears fall off!" Alvin looked down a bit shamefully, offering a soft apology. He may not remember what it's like to have a mother, but it felt familiar to be scolded like this. "...Vladimir, if you don't start trying to get along with Alvin, I will take Tina to my parents' and we won't come back until you two are the best of friends." Alvin's eyes widened a bit. Moms were scary sometimes. When Sal turned to him and spoke, the teen jumped a bit. "Y-Yes...?" Sal suddenly smiled. "Try to get along with Vlady? If you do, I'll teach you everything about Atlantis. Deal?" Alvin's heart raced for a few moments. Atlantis? The ancient city of merfolk? It actually existed!? Realizing his cheeks were flushed in a combination on fascination and excitement, he coughed a bit before crossig his arms, trying to appear nonchalant. "I....I guess I could...try...."the gothic beauty 2 I can't wait to play the first time Sal actually scolds Vlad. It's going to be great. Even though this was more of a treat than a scolding....

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina looked at Alvin surprised he was speaking to her father like that, a man that could easily kill him without remorse. She knew that he wouldn't of course not when she had told the man she liked Alvin. She looked at her mother and spoke soley to him. 'Are all dominant personalities like this? No wonder daddy doesn't get along with others.' Vlad slammed on the breaks of the car and covered his own ears hissing in pain. If the human thought that was painful, being a creature that could ear much better was worse. He looked at his partner and let out an unhappy sound. "You wont take her not after we just got her back! I will attempt to behave. So long as he doesn't show any interest in Tina. I am not ready to have to deal with our daughter dating anyone." ((hehe this should be fun. I do think Sal should scold Vlad when Alvin and Tina do form a more romantic relationship?))

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Sal stared at Vladimir. "She is old enough to decide for herself. You will not be able to stop her." Alvin frowned. Didn't Vladimir know that banning her from dating Alvin would just make her more motivated to do so? Teenagers were designed to be rebellious. "Besides, they'd be adorable together~!" Alvin's cheeks turned red and he glanced at Valentina before lookig away shyly. He was used to his teachers saying he and the cheerleadig captain would be cute together, but when a parent said it, it made it a bit more embarrassing. Did Sal really think that? the gothic beauty 2 Oh, definitely! He's also going to be the match maker here. XD

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters The mermaid vampire mix looked at her parents first in defiance then in shock. Her face turned red and she looked down. She wasn't thinking of dating anyone yet, even though she was interested in Alvin, it just seemed that he wasn't interested in her. After all he had stated as much not that long ago. Vlad looked at his partner and shook his head. "No, Tina doesn't know anything about men or what they are like. She cant date. Besides our new houseguest isn't even interested in her. Though he has to be crazy not to be." He was happy Alvin didn't like his daughter that way, but he was also not happy that the male didn't find his daughter attractive it was something all fathers seemed to go through. "Tina should be with someone that will be able to live a long life with her anyways, humans grow old much faster then our kind, and being part vampire she might not die at all."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin growled. He wanted to tell him to shut up and go slaughter a village, but he wanted to learn about Atlantis more. Glancing at Valentina, he frowned a little. "Hey. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings earlier. You're...really beautiful, but I don't know you well enough to actually...be interested in you." He was distracting himself, not wanting to say anything to Vladimir because he had nothing nice to say about him. Sal frowned. "Hush up. Not another word from you, Vladimir Rouminouff." He crossed his arms. If Vlad was going to be a grump from now on, then Sal really would leave. This was not the man he enjoyed being around. "We both owe it to this boy for risking, and losing, everything for us and Tina. Be nice, or so help me, I will not forgive you." With that, Sal closed his mind and leaned back to rest. He was tired, and the tension in the air was starting to make him feel sick.

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina looked at Alvin and shook her head. 'Its alright Alvin I understand you don't need to say anything. I guess being restricted to my fathers and their friend I haven't really interacted with anyone else. I guess that is probably what I find so attractive.' Maybe it was also the fact that he was human and he didn't seem bothered by her or her genetics even though he clearly disliked her father. Vlad looked to Sal and let out a sigh. He didn't say anything knowing Sal well enough to tell that his lover was getting annoyed with him. He couldn't help but be protective of his daughter and want to make her happy. Tina was his little princess and he wanted to make sure she had everything she could. It was another few hours before they arrived back at the castle and Vlad got out of the car to open up the gate before he drove in once more. Once the gate shut it locked and they would be protected from outsiders. "We're home." Was all Vlad said before he got out of the car and walked up toward the house and to his and Sal's bedroom. He figured no one wanted to be near him right now and he didn't blame them, he had been rude. Tina opened her eyes when the car came to a stop and she stretched before looking at Alvin. "Well, why don't I show you the room your going to be staying in? Once you're ready we can find a room more suited to your tastes." She looked at her mother as she slipped out of the car and gave Sal a hug. "Im sorry I caused tension between you and daddy mama. If I had been careful none of this would have happened."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis The rest of the ride was quiet. No one said anything to anyone. When they did arrive at the castle, he watched Vladimir head inside. Looking at Valentina, he frowned. She went up to Sal and hugged him. "No, it's not your fault. Don't worry. I'm going to go and spend some time with your father. Maybe I can calm him down." Sal kissed Valetina's head before leaving the two alone. "...I'm not staying. I don't want to hurt you or Sal, but I'm not staying with your father. He's clearly just waiting for a chance to kill me."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Valentina looked at her mother for a moment and nodded. "I hope you can reason with him, you have been doing so for so long you know just how to react to him." She said before she was left alone with Alvin. "You don't have to worry about that. Daddy hasn't actually killed anyone since he met my mother. Yes he has wanted to do so with some people, but he knows its wrong now. And, he doenst hate you, if anything he sees you as a threat. He fears you will take me away even though your not interested in me as anything more then a friend. Besides, your safer here then out on your own. My father has many... uh children I guess you could say and those vampires want to please him. If they think your death would make him happy, they will hunt you. I don't want that to happen. Until he actually states your under his protection, you run the risk of becoming prey to his other offspring." Sure the turned vampires weren't naturally born from Vlad and Sal, they were still his children to an extent.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin crossed his arms. "I feel like I'd rather take my chances. He's not going to protect me, even if he owes me that much for all I did for you three." The teen didn't want to deal with whatever Vladimir was going through. Maybe he should lie and say he wasn't attracted to girls. Would that get him off his back? He'd find out eventually that Alvin wasn't, though. "...You shouldn't have come to help me."
