The employee looked torn between nervousness and curiosity. He pulled a book out of his left pocket-- clearly some kind of manual-- and scanned the pages quickly. He'd lean forward, scrutinizing the CD and the scarf with narrowed eyes. Oh god, he hadn't been taught how to deal with all this... and he supposed it wasn't fair to totally screw this kid out of earnings? Maybe? Hmmm... "That's an old CD, and it looks like you found it in a junk pile. Maybe some maniacs would be willing to pay that much-- if that's what happened-- but I won't go any higher than 210 Gold. As for the scarf..." He sniffed there air. "There IS something interesting about it... so 70 gold. I'll bump it up to 80 gold if you sell the CD as well."

Well he supposed negotiations had failed, something which the young Butler would indicate by putting the items away. The price on the scarf wasn't terrible, but he had a feeling he could get more use out of it via other methods. He supposed it was time to get down to brass tacks and actually ask about what he was here for...which was...a thing...it was....come on Argyle you can do this....LUCKY PUNCH! The Butler would audibly snap his fingers upon recalling the item....something the clerk would of course receive no explanation for.

"Down to the last of our business than. I'm looking for a Lucky Punch" The boy stated frankly.

">And where are your kitchen sinks?<" Jekyll would chip in. He'd finally gotten bored watching this kid flail about.

Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.

Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard.

The employee's face fell, but he tried to keep his sprites up. At least he'd made a bit of a sale! At Argyle's remark, he'd frown a bit-- not out of annoyance, but frustration. He was trying to remember... something. "Lucky Punch... kinda a weird item. We don't see many of those. Let me check..." He'd leaf through a couple of papers, looking for something. "It LOOKS like there's some in the back room-- just keep heading the way you're going, and you'll run into it. Whoever's on book-keeping didn't write down where they are, but they're probably somewhat deep in there. The head pawnbroker's in the back room-- he'd probably be able to find one for you, but he's... not the nicest guy, so be prepared to handle some rudeness." He blinked, biting his lip. "Um, don't tell him I said that... oh! And Doctor Pasedena Smith is in the back room today-- he specializes in weird items, so he might have one on him." Taking a deep breathe, he relaxed and gave Argyle a pleasant smile. "Anything else I can help you with, mister?"

Argyle actually smirked at the mention of rudeness. Oh he'd dealt with worse than this boy could probably imagine. Waving a hand, the butler would simply say "That's fine thank you" Before walking off. IT was time to finish this part of the adventure.

A pair of eyes watched as Argyle continued through the shop, though they were safely hidden from sight. Some would call this behavior cowardly, but he preferred to watch. Oh, the Voltorb wouldn't strike. Not now, anyway. But it would watch this trainer... and if he returned... the Voltorb would MAKE him catch it! But for now, Argyle was safe from any lonely metal balls.

>Heeeeey, trash dude!<

Something would tumble off an upper shelf into the aisle-- a Trubbish. All bright-eyed and bushy-bagged, he stared up at Argyle. >Are you here to take me out? Cause I won't lie, I've been waiting for a bit... You're gonna have to work for it, though. I know I'm supposedta...< He tilted to the side, lost in thought and smells. >Come quietly, I guess? But I've been waiting back there so long... I want a fight! And then you can toss me to the curb!< He bounced, flailing about. Apparently, Argyle had been mistaken for the garbage man... apparently, he still smelled a bit like that Trubbish who'd doused him earlier.

Argyle openly sighed at the sight of the Trubbish, his shoulders heaving slightly. This was what...the third Trubbish today? Was he simply a magnet for Poison-types? Was this Arceus telling him to catch all things toxic? "This is it....this is my life now...all I ever was is Unlimited Trash Works..." Barely managing to even look at the thing, Argyle would gesture to Jekyll "Please just....handle this thing will you" He asked exasperated, gesturing to the Croagunk on his shoulder limply.

Jekyll, the caring, stalwart companion that he was, would of course break down snickering as he jumped off the boy's shoulder. When he looked at the Trubbish though, he would say with a gleam in his eye ">Playing hard to get eh? Well then...<" I he had a pair of sunglasses he would have donned them about now ">...it's time to take out the trash.<" Brycen eat your heart out.

>Jeeeeez, Oscar, don't be such a grouch.< The Trubbish glanced right between the pair in front of him, somewhat annoyed. >Look, this wouldn't have been such a problem if you'd taken me out on time. I mean, what's with you humans? None of you can clean worth spit.< With a sigh, he looked at Jekyll. >And if I'm lucky, I'll take you out with me!< With a low whistle, he launched himself across the floor, little fist balled up in a Pound attack!

The Trubbish wouldn't know it, but it was lucky Argyle couldn't understand what he'd just said. Heaven hath no fury like a Butler told they don't know how to clean. Well at least in this particular Argyle's case. Some of the others didn't care so much. Regardless the trash bag was still giving Argyle a headache, and as such he would rub the bridge of his nose and gesture weakly to Jekyll "Mud-slap."

Given the order, Jekyll would hork up something that sadly was only about half as foul as his opponent....but it would do the job. Whipping it forward like a pitcher, he'd hope to slap the Trubbish right across the face with it!

(18-13)+(15-10) = 10 * 2 = 20 * 2 = 40 DMG! Trubbish is at -19 HP!

The mud hit the Trubbish right in the face, ripping through his baggy outer skin. It tore right through him, splitting him apart. Before the Pokemon even knew what was happening, he'd be dead, his innards pouring out onto the ground. Yes, Argyle was free to move forward... but he'd just caused a huge mess of a trashpile.

Jekyll gains a boosted 78 EXP!

Argyle for his part would take the time to gingerly step around the Trubbish's remains, and then walk away as if he hadn't caused it. Not his problem.

As Argyle passed through the main part of Curious Curios, he'd find himself in front of a cracked door. As if sensing his approach, the door would creak open, revealing... an even more crowded room. Packed to the brim with boxes and stray items, this was where Curios stored the items they couldn't sell-- either because of disinterest or something more worrying. Either way, given the Lucky Punch hadn't shown up yet, there was nothing to do but continue forward.

Oh goodie. Seemed the people here had all the organizational skills of a Zigzagoon with Pickup. Maybe they should just set the place on fire and dig through the rumble....no no, something in this mess was liable to explode then.

Shaking his head, Argyle would continue forward.

Thump thump thump. The shelves, packed to burst with items and boxes, shook under a loud ruckus. Someone was throwing a bit of a fit. "I HATE THIS JOB. I HATE THIS JUNK. I HATE EVERYONE." The source of the trouble would become obvious-- a lanky, furious girl, red hair frizzing with emotion, stomped over storage without care for the contents. She yanked an apron off her torso, flinging it into the distance the rest of the "junk". Making a furious roar, she charged forward... and would find herself right across from Argyle. Her dark eyes lit up with a violent rage. "AND I HATE CUSTOMERS MOST. OF. ALL. FIGHT ME, SHORT STUFF."

A Zigzagoon scrambled off the frustrated girl's shoulder, landing on the cluttered floor with a thump. He smiled up at the pair, plainly unaware of the hurting that he was in for.
