      Malion, named for Pygmalion the sculpture who crafted his dream woman into life -- (pronounced MAH-lee-awn). Malion is a hedonist; craving all the good things in life: fame, fortune, love, popularity. While he is a gifted athlete and a natural beauty, Malion is vain, showy and greedy. He gets jealous of others who steal the spotlight away, is a sore-loser, and a temperamental friend. He is dating Galan.

          gaia_nitemareleft Durable. Despite Malion's very focused attention on his good looks, he is not one to shy away from life's knocks. Whether on the Endzone pitch or in a romance, Malion can take the worst of life's blows and keep on trying. No matter how bruised and broken, he just doesn't quit.
          gaia_nitemareleft Gregarious. Malion loves good company and is a stunning host. He always makes an effort to make sure those around him are having as good of a time as he is, and he has the social skills to put others at ease. With a winning smile and a gentle hand he makes each of his friends (and lovers) feel precious.
          gaia_nitemareleft Athletic. Malion is naturally very athletic, but he also works hard to push those limits. He's strong, swift and agile, and loves moving his body in anyway he can: from swimming to running, from dancing to sex.
          gaia_nitemareleft Sensual. Both in giving and receiving, Malion loves the little pleasures of life. Physical contact. A delicious chocolate at the end of a meal. Listening to a new record. He is very much a hedonist. Life is for living, and that means enjoying, and Malion will squeeze every ounce of sensuality out of anything he does.
          gaia_nitemareleft Passionate. His passions are many, and they lie very close to the surface. Endzone, good food, good music, grooming, dating... He dives into these things with all his being, holding nothing back. It makes him a passionate player on the field, an avid audience member, and an intimate lover.


        Negative Traits
          gaia_nitemareleft Sore-Loser. Malion tries extremely hard, and believes his actions deserve equal rewards. So when he loses, he doesn't take it well. He will always try to justify a loss as someone else's mistake, or a twist of luck, or crooked refereeing. His ego somehow can't accept that it might have been his own lacking.
          gaia_nitemareleft Attention-Seeking. Perhaps because of his friendly nature or his enjoyment of life, Malion wants to share things with others, and that includes himself. When in a crowd, he will tell jokes or recount stories, dandy himself up, or bust a move--anything to be at the centre of attention. And when someone or something else steals his limelight, he'll do all he can to get it back!
          gaia_nitemareleft Fickle. Malion's love of attention and his general love of life's pleasures means he'll try anything once. But that often means, with so many worthy distractions, that he tends to wander off in pursuit of the next greatest thing. This can leave many projects and hobbies unfinished, and many hearts broken in his wake.
          gaia_nitemareleft Hot & Cold. A man of extremes, Malion is either giving 110% or Absolute Zero. He can flip between these extremes as swiftly as flicking a light, especially if his opinion of something changes. He can leave friends behind over a one-time spat, or suddenly fall out of love. The next moment, he may suddenly be sunshine and roses again as if nothing happened. Those who wish to be close to him must possess a measure of elasticity to weather these moods.
          gaia_nitemareleft Pampered. Malion is a touch vain, and does want all the good things in life. Doing favours for him, brushing his hair or fur, massaging his sore muscles, cooking him breakfast... He wants others to pamper him, and not just for special occasions. While it can help keep his best attributes turned on, he doesn't necessarily acknowledge his appreciation as much as he should.


        Enjoys
          gaia_nitemareleft Endzone. The Nightmare sport of Endzone has once again risen to prominence as the sporting event of the season. Especially now that Daydreams have also been admitted to the game, old rivalries are back and new teams are springing up. With its enchanted ball and swiftly changing play, it is both exhilarating and difficult. And someday, Malion wants to be a professional player!
          gaia_nitemareleft Bubble Baths. Nothing like a nice long bath after a well-won game! With piping hot water, bath salts and an excessive amount of suds, Malion likes to have a drink and listen to music for hours as he soaks.
          gaia_nitemareleft Jogging. Both early in the morning as the sun's coming up to start his day, and to blow off extra energy or steam at the end of the day, Malion likes to go jogging. Whenever he's feeling disappointed or restless or aggravated, a jog is the best thing to bring him back to his usual cheerful disposition.
          gaia_nitemareleft Winning. Well, there's no two-ways about it. Malion likes to win. No matter what the contest, he's 'in it to win it'. And when he does, he is on top of the world. It's the greatest possible high.
          gaia_nitemareleft Having his Hair Brushed. Brushing out his hair and fur is a surefire way to mould Malion like putty in your hands. It puts him to sleep like a baby, it soothes all his tensions, and it eases his anxiety or sorrow. Being brushed is his earliest memory, and it still holds power over him.


        Dislikes
          gaia_nitemareleft Gloating. Malion tries to be a good sport about things, but when other people gloat it riles him up quicker than anything else. If you're wanting a bit of fisticuffs, gloat in front of Malion. It doesn't even matter what you're gloating about, his knee-jerk reaction is a punch to the teeth.
          gaia_nitemareleft Being Ignored. Malion hates being around other people and not being noticed. Social events are for being social (read: paying attention to him), so what's the point of hanging out if fun isn't had (read: admiring or pampering him)? His delicate ego always seems to need stroking.
          gaia_nitemareleft Prolonged Quiet. Long periods of quiet make him extremely restless and uneasy. Whether its taking exams, or being in a library too long, or slow artistic films, Malion needs movement, sound, music or action. Otherwise he gets horribly jumpy and agitated.
          gaia_nitemareleft Being Confined. It's not quite claustrophobia, but Malion cannot stand being restrained or cooped up. He needs to be able to move if he needs to, and any sort of restraint or locked doors put him into a panic.
          gaia_nitemareleft Schoolwork. Let's face it, Malion hates studying, doing tests, listening to lectures, or remitting homework. He's simply not interested, and frankly, forcing living things to sit still for long periods of time is tantamount to torture! Perhaps because of this, he doesn't put forth the effort he should, he hasn't thought about what he will study, and his marks aren't as good as they could be. He's not dumb, he just shirks his work.
          gaia_nitemareleft Planning Ahead. Malion is spontaneous, easy-going and up for a lark. So, planning out every detail, being prudent, having an itinerary? That takes all the fun out of the adventure! He would much rather go with the flow, see where life takes him, and face each challenge with wits and skill.
