Queen could hear the storm raging outside. But there was yet another thundering sound which did not belong to nature. Unknown to both of them, there was a small machinist exploration squad which ventured on these lands as Misty commented. Harmless on the outside, but armed to their teeth on the inside with their nefarious augmentations.
_________________________________________ Queen just kept her ears up, she could hear the people outside in the forest, so she figured she would set up what she did before, she would snap her fingers having darkness from her fingers go all the way to the entrance of the cave and soon seal it, but once it finished covering it, it would appear to look like a wall, she hoped that if anyone looked it wouldn't be noticable, but she didnt know the forest like the people here, they may notice a wall isntead of a hole but she gave it a shot anyways

While the recon squad did not notice the wall where the cave used to be, they actually decided to set a camp around the cave. Setting tents and various machinery to build up barracks. Misty on the other hand would just rest against Lily's shoulder.
_________________________________________ Queen finally would see what was making the noise, she would see people setting up camp around the cave, though she found it weird, why set up camp in the rain, but regardless she simply remained quiet and she was prepared to shush misty if she would wake up and speak. apparently this must have been the group misty was talking about

Once the barracks were done the camp became silent if only for a few hours, even machinist needed rest. The guards however were silently watching, ready to shoot any menace down at first sight. They knew this wild lands filled with low scum which dared to keep them off their precious resources.
_________________________________________ Queen just simply sat and watched as they would function in the place they just newly built, seeing how they would spend time and even who would stay up to keep watch and who would sleep, this of course was more of curiosity to see how strong they believed they were in the number of people awake verse sleeping.

... Misty seemed quite alright, while her fever wasn't completely gone, she appeared to sleep peacefully.
On the other hand the guards shifted quite often as if they wanted them to be at their peak on every watch. But still healthy enough to be waken up at any given moment.
_________________________________________ Queen just kept her eyes on the camp, she did look at misty for a few seconds, she was sleeping peacefully, yet she still had a fever which sucked but nothing she could do about it. so she simply waited awake so she could watch the camp just incase someone found out their little hiding spot

As time passed, and the guard shifts kept rotating, Queen would be able to hear the camp became more active after 4 hours, not only the guards were up but some other people. Tuning barracks and turrets during night.
Misty kept resting peacefully against Queen, as time passed there was a small hint of improvement on her fever. It seemed whatever traces of Queen's madness causing her disease were finally washing away.
With the camp growing lively she could hear something that perhaps might bring chills to her spine. Scouts, it was around this time that scouts, now fully rested, went out to patrol, looking to expand the camp. If What Misty told her at the pub earlier was right, they would pretty much demolish the whole forest and build a fortress.
There was a need for action, or they would find themselves in the middle of a fort and that didn''t sound quite appealing. Not after Misty's stories about Machinist being able to block and ignore anything that you threw at them.
_________________________________________ Queen would keep watch yawning ever so occasionally, she could see their base develop and grow, sending scouts out "hmmm...this will get out of hand quick..." she muttered before she looked at misty shaking her abi "hey wake up...quietly though" she asked her as she would try and wake her up, the fever wasn't completely gone but they needed to think of something before they were trapped, Queen just wanted to see if she had a better plan then waiting out or charging iout

It seemed Misty resisted the need to wake up, she even frowned as she finally let out a yawn. "What is it?" Clearly someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, still dizzy and out of the situation at hand. "Man... It's the last time I'm drinking - " before she could name the identity of the mysterious drink, she was shut silent by Queen which made her raise an eye brown. It only took a few seconds before her brain caught up. Hearing the sounds of the machinist fortress building outside the cave. "Oh no, this is bad..." With the constant headache purging onto her head, it was hard for her to completely focus on a single task, and her balance was just a little off as well.
Meanwhile the scouts kept forming a perimeter of vision but it would be a matter of time before they discover the cave.

Observing the situation through the flame wall, she gritted her teeth. "This is no good, they are setting up Quick. We need to destroy them before they start calling others to get more camps set." She was in no condition to fight at her peak, but she wouldn't take the risk of not being able to take them down at all. Observing the interior of the cave, she would look around for some fungus and moos within the rocks.
"Good, can you dig?" She asked the Queen. "We need to find their water supply and poison it. They are weak from withing. So there's that."
_________________________________________ Queen rose an eyebrow "Can i dig...Im a fox not a dog...but i can probably create a shovel out of the metal on my swords" she stated shrugging before she looked at Misty "would that work?" she asked, she wasn't sure exactly if they could dig fast enough to even do that, more so she figured it would be better to just poison any well.

"I didn't meant it that way Queen, I mean we gotta get our hands on those water supplies to poison them." She explained while leading Queen around to where should they start digging. "They always put it at the center of their camp so everyone has relatively safe access to it. So unless you know how to turn invisible or run super fast not to be even seen, then I can't see other way around. The next thing we need to do is cut their communications. Those would also be near the center. After all they are their most valuable resources."
