Luck started back towards the girls. Waiting for Mirage so he didn't walk far in front of him. He walked to Averti and waited.

Luck nuzzled Averti and whispered "Not much, we came back to talk.
Luck looked at Mirage and shrugged. "I guess I'll start then. Well, we noticed you girls were a bit sad. So, we wanted to know what you'd like to change to make you less sad...and see if maybe some type of compromise can be reached."

"Instead of joining Racer's herd to learn about running a herd and such, perhaps you could join our small herd, and Luck could maybe teach you.' she knew it was a lot to ask of someone but looked at Mirage, waiting for his answer.

Mirage had to think on that one. Well, the reason I wanted to go to Racers herd was because he is my father, and I wanted to learn from him. But, maybe, after we leave there, when the children are old enough, we could come here, and I could learn from you as well Luck. That way, I could learn from my father, and also Averti' could see Sun. And learning from two herd leaders is better then just learning from one. And if any of the children want to follow, they can. Or maybe we'll bring them over so that they get to see the two herds, and decide which they want to be in.
