I'd have to go with the Greeks. I think it was rather ingenious of them to hide out in that wooden horse biggrin

Greeks, they have the blessing of Athena. Trojans can be a bit arrogant. Stealing someone's wife? I don't really care about where Helen wants to be. I care where Helen is supposed to be.

So no respect for individual sovereignty then? We are all just slaves to some pre-ordained plan and we are disobedient and deserve to be punished if we step out of line? sweatdrop

Anyway, it might have been part of the Zeus' plan to stage the Trojan war. She may well have been supposed to be in Troy in order for Zeus to bring the age of Hero's to an end...

(I've been reading 'The Marriage of Cadmus and Harmony' by Roberto Calasso, can anyone tell?)

The Trojans. Their rulers were good people, whereas Agamemnon was just a big meanie.

Id side with the trojans. The Greeks waged war for men's stupid pride.

I'd choose the Greeks. The Trojans had too much pride and egos the size of the sun. I mean come on, they were defeated because they let a wooden horse in their walls filled with Greeks. Why weren't they suspicious? rolleyes scream rofl cheese_whine burning_eyes ninja twisted xd

I have to go with the Trojans. ** Even if they where daft enough to let a horse full of soldiers inside their walls **

I'd have to go with the Trojans for the sole fact they need someone with even a little bit of brains to tell them to be suspicious of random gift horses.

Or it might have been staged by the fates. Really, who can battle fate? The Gods just wanted to have some fun.

A long time ago when I was in Middle School, our L.A. class did research on Greek Gods and Goddesses. I picked Aphrodite because se was the goddess of love and beauty. In retrospect, she was really dumb to promise the most beautiful woman when Helen was married. That's why I prefer Athena now.
