Koal only smiled at this. What was this kid about? Perhaps he should carry him up to his friend and have him tell he story. Yah that should work. Then he could give some sense to those girls who were using wishes like they were water. With a nod at the kid, he gave his rebuttle.
"When was the last time that was true? How about a better quote, like 'If at first you don't succeed, give up. No use being a danm fool about it.'" He really didn't mean this. That quote only worked in spacific cases when some young hero wishes to take on some large demonic devil. Really, some kids need to know the basic laws of self-preservation.
He was unable to note the movement of the hands. If it was an RPG world to him, then nothing really harmful could even be in there. Being within two feet of him also hindered sight.

Ella's anxiety was beginning to sink in, "Uhhhh, didn't you guys hear me? There's a fire - F-I-R-E in the house. Quit flirting and let's go!!" What the heck were these guys doing, talking and lecturing each other at a time like this?! Crikey!!

The bear in front of her swmouldered, crumbling into ash. Bri stopped running and stared at what used to be a bear in confusion. She hadn't even been that close to it.
Suddenly she cursed. Dropping her sword, she shook her burt fingers ruefully. The flames had all but died on the surface of the blade already. She cursed again when she realised she hadn't taken the sword's sheath with her. She pulled off teh traveling cape and wrappped it around the sword's hilt.
Orange light reflected off the metal edge. Bri looked behind her to see a small sea of flame crackleing merrily behind her. It didn't take a genius to figure out the cause either. If she made it out of this nut house of a world she would be sure to scold herself about this.
The tower has wooden floors.
Bri started to get out of the tower when she heard Ella yelling. Looking up, she saw all three still there. It looked like the two guys were in the middle of a fight. No sense in that half on the species, really.
Quick detour to go half way up the stairs and Bri added her own warning to the girl's. "Oi! Guys! Time to get out! Fire drill, walk camly, nearest exit. Move it!"

Mars was kicking himself inside. " DON'T YOU THINK WE KNOW!!!!" he screamed at them. " Really, some people just don't know how to roleplay. It's a dramtic moment. So what if there is fire, it isn't real." he said before regaining his train of thought. Looking back to the oaf he shook his head. " I never give up. If this world was real, I would believe you were intending to kill me, so I would try anything to exscape you. Besides, it is always true. All the stream needs,' he said letting the small flash bomb role out of his satchel," IS TIME!" he shouted as the bomb went off and the area was covered in a blinding light. "I whish to sign-out..." he mumbled under his breath and fainished.
In the real world, Mars was sent flying into his wall. He had no idea what had thrown him. Looking up, his comnputer screen was still on that strange book page. " Huh? Where did the game go!" he said checking the history and finally shuting off his computer.

The folds of orange and green cloth folded down into nothing, a large man throwing it around his neck as he stared up at the girls. He had let himself go, letting the thrill of victory make him careless. Of course they could get off anytime, but he assumed his friend could stop it. Then again, he has yet to stop this fire. A sigh escaped his lips amist the scalding heat. Seconds later he was bounding up the stairs towards the door.
His form somehow made it swiftly past the girls with minimal pushing as he made his way to the door. A booming voice with a slightly breathless tone to it came from him.
"I'll take any obstacles out of the way, you two run!" Being stronger and better tunes with being phycical, he would be faster than them even with possible traps in his way. Not like they would be much. Aragus knew to put stuff that would not harm the new kids too much. He also trusted the girls knew well enough to run away from fire.

"U-um, okay." Stammered Ella to the man, grateful (yet a little confused) for his help, "Uh, thank you Mister Man!!" She called and looked to the other, "C'mon, we'd better hurry."

"How did he do that?" asked Xela as he walked down the path. He then saw a house on fire and ran down towards the path to see if he could help put it out.

((I think its a stone tower, with wooden floors. I don't even think the smoke has reached the upper levels yet. And let us assume that my character opened the door, so whatever what was done to it shall be revealed.

(Whoever said that he's where you are...yet?)
"Anyone in here?!" cried out Xela as he opened the door. "What the..."
Instead of staring into a burning house, he was staring at what looked like the cosmos. There were stars, comets, and even a galaxy.
"What kind of a house is this?"
Suddenly, a huge hand made of light and shadows grabbed him from inside the house and pulled him in, closing the door behind them, the house then vanishing into thin air.
He was falling through a vortex, not knowing where he would land, screaming.
He then landed on his back, hard, into a burning tower.
"Oww," he said as he got up slowly to try to keep his back from hurting that much. "What was tha-What the?! A burning tower?!!"
As he got up to get out, one of his items that he got from a village elder dropped out of his pocket. It was a small orb, no bigger than a marble, with the symbol of water on it. Xela heard it fall and saw it roll into the flames.
"Uh oh."
He jumped behind a couch nearby and held his breath. Within moments that whole floor was flooded with water that searched for more flames and put them out. Soon, most of the tower was soaked and free of flames.
*cough, cough* "I thought I took the wrong orb. Oh, well. At least the fire is out."

Aragus looked at his crystal ball, puzzled, when the beeping had stopped. He stared into it for a good long time, his face becoming more and more scarlet. "WHAT ARE THESE KIDS DOING?!?" The old man jumped from his seat and threw his crystal ball into a bookshelf. Books tumbled to the floor onto the scattered shards of his looking glass and the old wizard was displaying his childish side. "Do these kids think my house is some sort of play room where anything goes!?" He let out an out-of-place, feral scream as he continued to trash his room in frustration. But having smashed his only way of watching his tower, he didn't know to remove some of the traps for Koal.
On a shard just big enough for someone to clench a fist around, the words, "KOAL HAS ENTERED THE LABRYNTH" flashed across it in big red letters. Somewhere in that maze, the great beast's snoring stopped as he got his signal. Picking up his gargantuan hammer, the Minotaur brushed off his dusty horns as he began wandering for his new friends. "What? No instructions, old man? Guess he's finally going to let me have some fun."

"Wait! Why are you guys going up the stairs?" She called after them, hanging back, not sure where to go. Suddenly where the floor had started to burn caved in with a crack. Bri yelped and ran up the stairs after them.
She covered her face in surprise as a cloud of steam rushed upwards, and ran through the door.
Bri stopped when she opened her eyes. She wasn't in the tower, at least if she was, the tower defied all laws of time and space. To either side of her sandstone walls rose up infinitely to an indeterminate ceiling forming a wide corridor. In the distance she could see it bend off in two directions. Her feet crunched against the gravel floor as she slowly walked up to the other two.
"Toto, I think we're not in Kansas anymore" she said to no one in particular

An odd thing to say, and an odd thing for him to suddenly get a large grin at. His furry face looked back at the girl with a grin of reconition and joy. Studdering, he continued on with apparently no idea he was walking, or just walking while doing this emotional expirence.
"W-wizard of Oz reference? I forgot that a long time ago. Boy, does time fly..." His head then returned to looking fowards just as he was about to smack into the wall at the end of the hall. His hand shot forards to stop himself, and he looked over to the sides to confirm where they were.
"Another maze? Jeez, I know we set your tower on fire but putting us in the maze?" He didn't say this to the group he was with, but more to himself. Looks like Aragus gets moody these days about his stuff. Now the only thing left is to go through the danm thing. He spun around to address the two girls following him.
"Say, do any of you have some string?"

"String...? No... but do you want me to wish for some??" What kind of place WAS this, having a maze in the middle of a tower? Then again, what kind of kooky guy would put them through all this in the first place, "So, you know the person that lives here?? Is he the one that controls the goblins and stuff?" Her defenses were still up around this guy. If he was friends with the person that caused all this ruckus, there might be trouble still.

It wasn't what the man said that drew her attention, but how it sounded. "Uh, yeah. It's more a pop culture phrase, but sure it's Oz." Bri responded, half of her brain interested in what was so strange about what the man said. She followed him, and heard the differences that had interested her when he spoke to himself.
It wasn't like she was eavesdropping, he had heard her speaking to no one, so now she would hear him.
They were in a maze, then. Well, it made about as much sense as the rest of this place. And at least one of them had some idea about what was going on.
Bri remembered something when the man mentioned string. "Wait a minute." she said reaching into her pocket. 'It's not string, but," she pulled out a decent sized chunk of white rock. It was limestone. Bri had picked it up because it had a cool looking fossil in it. But it should serve their purposes. She walked over to the wall and scratched a thick white line against the yellow sandstone. "The limestone writes just like chalk."
She waited for the othe girl to finish speaking before she said simply. "This should keep track of where we're going. Like string did in the Labyrinth" she looked at the man out of the corner of her eye.

"Wonder why that hand dropped me here?" Xela asked himself.
Suddenly, the same hand from before grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and dragged him into the fireplace, once again pulling him into a vortex.
"WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO MEEEEE?!!!!!!!" he cried out.
He once again landed somewhere. This time, it was a maze. Also, the impact of the landing knocked him out.
